Disclosure: NOXI publishes this page and is one of the tools scored. That's why the rules, weights and the source of every cell are printed, along with where NOXI loses points.
Quick answer: On seven printed rules checked on 25 October 2026, NOXI scores highest (98 of 100), then ChatGPT (90), Kimi Slides (88) and Genspark (87). Pick ChatGPT if you live in ChatGPT and PowerPoint, Kimi for on-slide citations in your own .pptx template, Genspark for verification marks on each checked slide. Z.ai exports PDF only today.
Every AI agent now says it makes slides. Fewer document what a deck you hand over needs: an editable PowerPoint on your plan, sources on the slide and your own template. This page scores eight agents on seven printed rules, with every cell's source.
In short
- RankingNOXI 98, ChatGPT 90, Kimi Slides 88, Genspark 87, Claude 81, Manus 75, Skywork Slides 60, Z.ai 46.
- MethodDocumented capability from official vendor pages opened on 25 October 2026; not a new hands-on test. Rubric P of our AI presentation tools ranking, unchanged.
- Closest racesChatGPT, Kimi and Genspark sit within 3 points of each other; one cautious reading moves Kimi from 88 to 92.
- Where NOXI loses pointsWhere it runs: ChatGPT, Genspark and Claude work inside PowerPoint and score 5; NOXI scores 4. A NOXI deck started from an attached file scores 89, below ChatGPT.
- New this monthChatGPT Slides launched on 16 October 2026 for Pro, Business and Enterprise; Genspark's AI Slides help was updated on 21 October 2026.
- Three checksBefore you pick an agent: editable .pptx on your plan, sources on the slide, your own template.
Key numbers
The two revenue figures are each company's own statement on its own blog, at different dates; don't compare them.
The ranking: 8 AI agents for slides scored on 7 rules
NOXI scores highest on these seven rules with 98 of 100, followed by ChatGPT at 90, Kimi Slides at 88 and Genspark at 87. Claude scores 81, Manus 75, Skywork Slides 60 and Z.ai 46. "(v)" marks a total that rests on a cautious reading; its alternative is in the sensitivity list.
| # | Tool | Score | Best when |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | NOXI | 98 | You need an editable PowerPoint with source lines on figure slides, right-to-left Arabic or an existing deck as the style, free each month. |
| 2 | ChatGPT | 90 | You already work in ChatGPT and PowerPoint: the add-in edits the open file, and Slides (Pro, Business, Enterprise) exports to PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides. |
| 3 | Kimi Slides | 88 (v) | You want on-slide citations and your school's or company's .pptx template in an agent, with free monthly credits. |
| 4 | Genspark | 87 | You want a verification mark with reference links on each checked slide, and you will pay for export or use the PowerPoint add-in. |
| 5 | Claude | 81 | You want free Slides that export to PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides, or the paid add-in that builds on your corporate templates. |
| 6 | Manus | 75 | One general agent should research, chart your CSV or Excel data and design in your .pptx template, on a paid plan. |
| 7 | Skywork Slides | 60 (v) | You connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 files and can accept static snapshots of interactive elements in the PPTX. |
| 8 | Z.ai | 46 | You call a slide agent by API and a PDF is enough today. |

How we scored: rubric P, official pages only
Each agent is rated 1 to 5 on seven criteria; points = rating ÷ 5 × weight, and the weights total 100. We re-applied the rules of our AI presentation tools ranking on 25 October 2026: the same seven criteria, weights and anchors, printed in the ranking's method section.
| Code | Criterion (weight) | The rule, identical for every tool |
|---|---|---|
| P1 | Editable PPTX export (20) | 5 = an editable .pptx with real text boxes on the free plan with no badge, or the tool edits the native PowerPoint or Google Slides file; 4 = the same on paid plans only, or free with a badge; 3 = the vendor documents visible differences, substituted fonts or elements that become images; 2 = PDF or images only, or a third-party step; 1 = no file export documented. |
| P2 | Editing depth (20) | 5 = four AI levels documented: whole deck, one slide, one selected element, your own template or brand kit as the style (plus manual editing); 4 = three; 3 = two; 1 = only regeneration or only manual editing. |
| P3 | Research with sources (15) | 5 = web research documented and the source appears on the slide; 4 = cited research, placement not stated; 3 = research or citations in the chat only; 2 = grounds on uploads, no sources shown; 1 = none documented. |
| P4 | Import (15) | 5 = PDF, Word, Excel or CSV, PowerPoint and images all accepted, with a stated size limit; 4 = four of five, or all five with no limit; 3 = two or three types; 2 = one; 1 = text prompt only. |
| P5 | Languages incl. right-to-left (10) | 5 = right-to-left layout documented; 4 = a language list naming Arabic; 3 = "many languages" without a list; 2 = no list; 1 = English only. |
| P6 | Free plan reality (10) | 5 = free generation and editable export, no card, no watermark, stated monthly allowance; 4 = a badged export, a small one-time pool, or no stated allowance; 3 = free generation without PowerPoint export; 2 = time-limited trial only; 1 = no free use documented. |
| P7 | Where it runs (10) | 5 = web + inside PowerPoint or Google Slides + an API, MCP server or connectors; 4 = web + one of those; 3 = web + desktop or mobile apps; 2 = web only or a single host app. |
Agent or presentation maker: what's the difference?
An AI agent for slides plans, researches, writes and designs the whole deck from one request; a presentation maker or add-in starts from your outline or open file. The line is blurry: ChatGPT, Claude and Genspark are general agents with slide features, Kimi, Skywork and Z.ai ship dedicated slide agents, and NOXI researches, writes and designs a whole deck from one prompt and can be called from assistants through its MCP connector. Gamma (85 on the same rubric) and Microsoft Copilot in PowerPoint (80) are deck tools rather than agents; they are scored in our AI presentation tools ranking, and the add-ins that work inside PowerPoint are compared in our guide to AI PowerPoint add-ins.
Scoring table: every cell and its arithmetic

No two of the eight tie, so the tie-break rule is not needed here.
Where the gaps come from
- NOXI − ChatGPT = 8: P3 +6 (source line on the slide against citations in the chat), P5 +2, P6 +2, P7 −2 (ChatGPT works inside PowerPoint). Check: 6 + 2 + 2 − 2 = 8 = 98 − 90.
- NOXI − Kimi = 10: P1 +4 (Kimi states no watermark rule, so the cautious 4 applies), P5 +4 (right-to-left layout documented against "multilingual" with no Arabic in Kimi's interface list), P6 +2 (Kimi's monthly free credits are not quantified). Check: 4 + 4 + 2 = 10.
- ChatGPT − Kimi = 2: P1 +4, P3 −6, P5 +2, P7 +2. Check: 4 − 6 + 2 + 2 = 2.
How sensitive the order is
Every reading that could move one of these eight totals, from the shared score file:
- NOXI 94 if the MCP connector is not counted (P7 = 2). NOXI still scores highest; ChatGPT stays at 90.
- NOXI 89 for a deck started from an attached file. Research and source lines are off by default then (P3 = 2: 98 − 9 = 89). On that reading ChatGPT (90) comes first and Kimi (88) sits one point below NOXI.
- NOXI 90 if NOXI's in-product export notices (complex graphics kept as images) counted as documented differences (P1 = 3). They are in-app messages, not an official page, the same rule that excludes Skywork's in-app strings.
- ChatGPT 86 if the add-in's note that advanced edits "may be limited or still in development" is read against P1 (P1 = 4); 82 if ChatGPT Slides (Pro and up) is also not counted for editing depth.
- ChatGPT 92 and Claude 83 if a free plan without a stated monthly allowance were allowed a 5 on P6. We apply that to nobody.
- Kimi 92 if Kimi states that free exports carry no watermark (P1 = 5); 94 if it also states a monthly credit amount (P6 = 5). At 92 Kimi would move above ChatGPT into second place.
- Genspark 79 if only the web app's export is scored (P1 = 3: "Exporting any format, requires a paid plan", editability not stated) and its PowerPoint add-in is left out.
- Manus 78 if a Word file were named as an input (P4 = 4).
- Skywork 68 if strings in its web app counted (a file list for P4 = 5; a "7-day free trial" for P6 = 2); 56 if its PowerPoint export is not re-confirmed (P1 = 2).
- Z.ai: no line moves it; we could not confirm a consumer free plan on 25 October 2026.
Where each agent's deck ends: PowerPoint, Google Slides or PDF
Agent decks differ most in where they end: Kimi, Claude and Manus document a PowerPoint download and a Google Slides route, Genspark exports on paid plans, and Z.ai exports PDF only today. This table is not scored; it repeats each vendor's own words.
| Agent | Where the deck ends | On the free plan | Official page |
|---|---|---|---|
| NOXI | Editable PowerPoint (.pptx) with real text boxes and embedded fonts, Arabic included, or PDF | Yes: 1,000 credits a month, no card, no watermark | noxi.ai |
| ChatGPT | Slides: "export to PowerPoint, PDF, or Google Slides"; the PowerPoint add-in edits the open file | Add-in: "Free and Go include limited usage access"; Slides needs Pro, Business or Enterprise | OpenAI Help [6] [7] |
| Kimi Slides | "Download an editable PPT file"; export to Google Slides, PowerPoint or PNG | "A certain amount of free credits is available each month"; amount and watermark not stated | Kimi Help, Kimi Slides [8] |
| Genspark | PDF, PPTX or Google Slides from the web app; an add-in inside PowerPoint | "Exporting any format, requires a paid plan" | Genspark Help Center [9] |
| Claude | "Decks export to PowerPoint and PDF, or go straight to Google Slides as editable files" | The Free plan lists "Claude Design, Slides, Docs" | Claude Help, pricing [10] |
| Manus | "PowerPoint (.pptx): Fully editable in PowerPoint or Google Slides"; PDF; Google Drive or OneDrive | Slide generation is listed for paid plans only | Manus docs, help [11] |
| Skywork Slides | Download the deck; interactive elements "downgrade to static snapshots" in PPTX or PDF (changelog, 29 June 2026) | Could not confirm on 25 October 2026 | Skywork Help [12] |
| Z.ai | "Export as PDF (PPTX and other formats coming soon)" | Could not confirm on 25 October 2026 | Z.ai docs [13] |

The rule we use: for a deck you will hand over as PowerPoint, check three things in each agent's own docs: an editable .pptx on your plan, sources on the slide, and your template. NOXI, Kimi and Genspark document all three, Genspark on a paid plan; Z.ai exports PDF only today.
NOXI (98): our pick for an editable PowerPoint with sources on the slide
NOXI scores highest on these seven rules with 98 of 100: full marks on six criteria and 4 on where it runs. It is our pick when the deck must leave as an editable PowerPoint with source lines on figure slides, in English or right-to-left Arabic, at no cost.
1. NOXI 98 / 100
Editable PPTX (5). NOXI's own export engine writes real, editable text boxes and embeds the fonts, Arabic included; download as PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF on a free account, with no watermark. Editing depth (5). Change one slide or the whole deck by chat, click any element and say what to change, or upload any PowerPoint, PDF or image as a reference so NOXI designs the deck in that style (Match reference); edit text, tables and chart numbers by hand. Research with sources (5). When you start from a prompt, NOXI researches the topic on the web first, and slides with figures carry a source line linking to where each number came from. With an attached file, research is off by default, which is why the method box prints 89 for file-started decks. Import (5). PDF, Word, Excel or CSV, PowerPoint and images, up to 200 MB per file (uploads and exports need a free account). Right-to-left (5). Full Arabic interface and right-to-left slides, where timelines and tables run right to left, with four Arabic fonts. Free plan (5). 1,000 credits a month; a full deck uses about 25; no card. Where it runs (4). The web, the phone browser, and assistants: connect NOXI to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code or Codex with the one address on noxi.ai/connect.
Where others lead: ChatGPT, Genspark and Claude work inside PowerPoint itself and score 5 on where it runs; NOXI works on the web and through its connector, and the deck opens in PowerPoint once downloaded. NOXI adds images where a slide needs one.
ChatGPT (90): Slides on Pro plans, the add-in inside PowerPoint
ChatGPT scores 90, second of eight, and suits you when you already work in ChatGPT and PowerPoint: the add-in edits the open file, and ChatGPT Slides (16 October 2026) exports to PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides on Pro, Business and Enterprise.
2. ChatGPT 90 / 100
Editable PPTX (5). ChatGPT for PowerPoint is a "PowerPoint-native AI experience … while preserving editable slide structure", and "Free and Go include limited usage access" (OpenAI Help, ChatGPT for PowerPoint, updated about 21 October 2026). Editing depth (5). In Slides, "select the element, then select Request edits", "use the prompt bar to request changes to the deck", and "share an example deck … to guide the style and layout" (OpenAI Help, ChatGPT Slides). Sources (3). The add-in asks you to "review claims, numbers, citations where available"; no on-slide placement is stated. Import (5). DOCX, PDF, TXT, XLSX, CSV, PPTX and images, up to 512 MB per file (file uploads). Right-to-left (4). Arabic is in the language list; no right-to-left slide layout is documented. Free plan (4). Limited usage, no stated allowance. Where it runs (5). "ChatGPT Work supports native Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides" (ChatGPT Work), plus the PowerPoint add-in and apps.
ChatGPT Slides, 16 October 2026: what launched
OpenAI's release notes for 16 October 2026 say you can start "from a conversation, files, or an outline", invite teammates "to edit the same deck in real time and leave shared comments", and, on the web, "export to PowerPoint, PDF, or Google Slides". It "is rolling out to eligible Pro, Business, and Enterprise users with Space access" (ChatGPT release notes). ChatGPT Plus costs $20 a month and Pro starts at $100 a month on the ChatGPT pricing page, so Slides is not on Free, Go or Plus. Our NOXI vs ChatGPT comparison covers ChatGPT's slide features in more depth.
Kimi Slides (88): on-slide citations and your slide master
Kimi Slides scores 88 (v), 2 points behind ChatGPT. It documents on-slide citations, your own PowerPoint template, five input types and an editable PPT download; it loses points on an unstated watermark rule, a language list without Arabic and an unquantified free allowance.
3. Kimi Slides 88 / 100 (v)
Kimi's help page says Kimi PPT is "Powered by the K3 LLM" (Moonshot AI, checked 25 October 2026).
Editable PPTX (4, v). "After generation, you can download an editable PPT file" (Kimi PPT overview); "export to Google Slides, PowerPoint, or PNG" (Kimi Slides). No Kimi page mentions a watermark either way, so the cautious 4 applies (92 if no watermark is stated). Editing depth (5). Comments "on a specific slide area", "Edit any text, image, chart, shape", and an uploaded company or school template whose "slide master, fonts, and grid system" Kimi says it understands. Sources (5). "Key insights include on-slide citations you can trace." Import (5). "PDF, Word, PPTX, Excel, TXT, and images" (PPT overview); each file "no larger than 100 MB", up to 50 at a time (capability FAQ). Right-to-left (3). "Multilingual conversation, retrieval, and creation"; the interface list has no Arabic. Free plan (4, v). Adagio is $0, and "a certain amount of free credits is available each month" (amount not stated). Where it runs (4). Web and app, plus plugins that support "MCP and Skills" in PPT; "APIs for PPT generation … are not available yet".
Genspark (87): verification marks on each checked slide
Genspark scores 87, fourth of eight. Its AI Slides help, updated 21 October 2026, documents whole-deck, element and own-template editing and a verification mark on each checked slide; web export needs a paid plan, and its PowerPoint add-in edits the native file.
4. Genspark 87 / 100
Editable PPTX (5). Genspark for PowerPoint builds "on-brand, presentation-ready decks without leaving the app" (PowerPoint add-in). The web app's export of PDF, PPTX or Google Slides needs a paid plan (79 if only the web export is scored). Editing depth (5). "Mark up the whole deck, send once"; "In Select mode, click any element"; "upload a PowerPoint or PDF to turn your existing deck into a reusable Skill" (AI Slides help, updated 21 October 2026). Sources (5). It "leaves a verification mark on each checked slide with reference links". Import (4). "PDF, Word, Excel, PPT"; no size limit stated for Slides. Right-to-left (2). No language list for Slides. Free plan (3). "100 / day, up to a lifetime limit", and "Exporting any format, requires a paid plan" (membership plans). Where it runs (5). Web, the PowerPoint add-in, and MCP connectors (connectors).
Genspark Plus costs $24.99 a month, or $19.99 a month billed annually at $239.99 a year ("All prices are in USD"). Our Genspark vs Gamma comparison covers its plans and modes in detail.
Claude (81): free Slides, and an add-in on your corporate templates
Claude scores 81, fifth of eight. Its Free plan lists Slides, decks export to PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides as editable files, and the paid PowerPoint add-in builds on your corporate templates; citations sit in the chat.
5. Claude 81 / 100
Editable PPTX (5). "Decks export to PowerPoint and PDF, or go straight to Google Slides as editable files" (Claude Help, updated 24 October 2026), and an add-in works in native PowerPoint (Claude for PowerPoint, Pro and up). Editing depth (4). "Make pinpoint edits to specific slides"; "Build new slides using your existing client or corporate templates"; no whole-deck AI edit is stated. Sources (3). "Every response includes citations" (web search), in the chat. Import (4). PDF, DOCX, CSV, XLSX and images, "500MB per file"; PPTX is not listed (uploads, 23 July 2026). Right-to-left (3). The interface list has no Arabic; "you can still chat with Claude in any language" (languages). Free plan (4). Free, $0, lists "Claude Design, Slides, Docs", with no stated monthly allowance (Claude pricing). Where it runs (5). A Google Slides add-on (beta) and the PowerPoint add-in, plus connectors (Claude, 6 October 2026).
Manus (75): a general agent with a PowerPoint mode
Manus scores 75, sixth of eight. It ties the leaders on editing depth (conversation, one slide, one element, your .pptx template) and documents a fully editable .pptx, but slide generation is listed for paid plans only, and its pages name three input types and no language list.
6. Manus 75 / 100
Manus is an independent company: its blog of 1 September 2026 says "Manus has formally resumed independent operations" (Manus blog).
Editable PPTX (4). "PowerPoint (.pptx): Fully editable in PowerPoint or Google Slides" (Manus docs, Slides), with slides on paid plans. Editing depth (5). "Ask Manus to make changes through conversation"; "Select the slide you want to edit"; "Point and edit visual elements"; "Upload your PowerPoint template (.pptx)". Sources (4). Manus "generates a slide deck with properly cited content"; placement not stated (Manus blog, 14 July 2026). Import (3). A PDF or document, CSV or Excel data, and a .pptx template; no size limit. Right-to-left (3). "All major languages", without a list. Free plan (2). The pricing page shows paid cards only; the plans help lists slide generation for paid plans and a "7-day free trial". Where it runs (4). Web and apps, a RESTful API (Manus API) and connectors such as Gmail, Notion and Google Drive.
Manus prices start at $20 a month on its pricing page.
Skywork Slides (60) and Z.ai (46): slide agents with gaps in their documentation
Skywork Slides scores 60 (v) and Z.ai 46. Both ship dedicated slide agents, but we found no Skywork pricing page or list of upload types on 25 October 2026, and Z.ai's slide agent exports PDF only today, with no file upload for slides.
7. Skywork Slides 60 / 100 (v)
Editable PPTX (3, v). The changelog of 29 June 2026 says interactive elements "downgrade to static snapshots" in PPTX or PDF; the page rendered empty to our verifier on 25 October (changelog). Editing depth (4). "Enter additional instructions" for the deck, "Customize rewrite … for this page", and "upload your own PPTX or PDF template"; element edits are manual (Slides tutorial). Sources (3). It may "Search Web"; no citations on slides are stated. Import (3, v). "Local Upload", types not listed. Right-to-left (2). No generation-language list. Free plan (1, v). No official page states free terms. Where it runs (4). "Connect Tools to authorize services such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365".
8. Z.ai 46 / 100
Z.ai documents its agent as the GLM Slide/Poster Agent, in beta (Z.ai developer docs, checked 25 October 2026).
Editable PPTX (2). "Export as PDF (PPTX and other formats coming soon)". Editing depth (3). "Modify and iterate based on your feedback"; the API deletes slides by position (agent API). Sources (3). "Real-time web data access"; no citations stated. Import (1). No source upload documented for slides. Right-to-left (2). No language list. Free plan (1). The API is "Pay-as-you-go based on Token consumption, $0.7/M Tokens" (pricing); chat.z.ai shows a PPT tile with no published free terms. Where it runs (4). Web plus API.
Is Kimi Slides free, and what are its modes?
Kimi Slides is free to try: Kimi's plan page lists Adagio at $0, and its help says "a certain amount of free credits is available each month" without giving the amount. Kimi PPT has two modes, Smart Layout and Classic Templates. Plus costs $15 a month billed annually ($180) or $19 billed monthly.
| Mode | What Kimi says it does | Best for | Estimated time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Smart Layout | "Kimi intelligently generates the layout and style"; scenarios include academic research, business insights and marketing promotion | "Personalized design", decks with more data and images | 5–10 minutes |
| Classic Templates | "Combines library templates with AI to quickly generate a presentation" | "Fast, efficient drafting", text-heavy decks | 3–5 minutes |
To use your own template, Kimi says to "upload a PPTX file directly and describe what you want to generate", with no scenario or preset needed (Kimi Help, creation modes). The older "adaptive vs visual" naming no longer appears on Kimi's English help.
Head-to-heads: Kimi vs Manus, Kimi vs Claude, Kimi vs Gamma
Each head-to-head compares two rows of the same rubric, so the gap is the sum of the criterion differences.
Manus vs Kimi for slides
Kimi scores 88 and Manus 75. Kimi gains 3 on sources (on-slide citations against "properly cited content" with no placement), 6 on import (five types and a 100 MB limit against three types) and 4 on the free plan (monthly free credits against paid-only slides). Check: 3 + 6 + 4 = 13. They tie on export, editing depth, languages and where it runs.
Kimi Slides vs Claude
Kimi scores 88 and Claude 81. Kimi gains 4 on editing depth, 6 on sources and 3 on import (Kimi accepts PPTX); Claude gains 4 on export (free editable export to PowerPoint, PDF and Google Slides) and 2 on where it runs (add-ins). Check: 4 + 6 + 3 − 4 − 2 = 7.
Kimi Slides vs Gamma
On the same rubric, Kimi scores 88 and Gamma 85. Kimi gains 4 on export (Gamma's export article has a section on visual differences) and 3 on sources; Gamma gains 4 on right-to-left, because Gamma documents RTL languages including Arabic. Check: 4 + 3 − 4 = 3.
Manus vs Genspark vs Skywork
Genspark scores 87, Manus 75 and Skywork 60. Genspark leads Manus by 12: export +4, sources +3, import +3, free plan +2, where it runs +2, and Manus +2 on languages (4 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 − 2 = 12). Manus leads Skywork by 15: export +4, editing +4, sources +3, languages +2, free plan +2 (4 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 2 = 15).
What these rules don't measure
These seven rules measure documented capability, not output quality, speed, coding, browsing or how often an agent invents a figure, and several competitors lead on things the rubric leaves out.
- ChatGPT: one assistant for research, writing and slides; real-time co-editing and shared comments in ChatGPT Slides (Pro, Business, Enterprise); the PowerPoint add-in on Free and Go.
- Kimi Slides: charts and diagrams that Kimi says stay editable components (in our words, charts that stay chart objects in PowerPoint), on-slide citations, slide-master templates, LaTeX formulas for research decks, and 50 files per upload.
- Genspark: a verification mark with links on each checked slide, a PowerPoint add-in that works with corporate master slides, and more than 100 expert Skills.
- Claude: an add-in that builds on your corporate templates, Claude Design, and strong reading of long documents.
- Manus: a general agent that also builds websites and research reports; its PowerPoint mode keeps each chart's data table (beta).
- Skywork and Z.ai: tool connections to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 (Skywork) and a slide agent you can call by API (Z.ai).
- Not measured for anyone: design taste, speed, invented figures, accessibility, comments and review workflows, video, and vendor benchmarks. Genspark's and Kimi's own benchmark claims are not used. NOXI's in-product export notices are not scored either (the 90 line above).
Our June 2026 hands-on test of presentation makers is a different method, reported on its own page and dated; its results are not added to these totals.
How to re-weight the ranking for your job: a worked example
To re-weight the ranking, move points between criteria so the weights still total 100, then recompute each agent as rating ÷ 5 × new weight; the ratings stay the same.
| Tool | Points with Aiko's weights (P5 0, P6 5, P7 25) | New total | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| NOXI | 20 + 20 + 15 + 15 + 0 + 5 + 20 | 95 | −3 |
| Genspark | 20 + 20 + 15 + 12 + 0 + 3 + 25 | 95 | +8 |
| ChatGPT | 20 + 20 + 9 + 15 + 0 + 4 + 25 | 93 | +3 |

| Claude | 20 + 16 + 9 + 12 + 0 + 4 + 25 | 86 | +5 |
| Manus | 16 + 20 + 12 + 9 + 0 + 2 + 20 | 79 | +4 |
| Skywork Slides | 12 + 16 + 9 + 9 + 0 + 1 + 20 | 67 | +7 |
| Z.ai | 8 + 12 + 9 + 3 + 0 + 1 + 20 | 53 | +7 |
For Genspark, P7 = 5 ÷ 5 × 25 = 25 and P6 = 3 ÷ 5 × 5 = 3. With Aiko's weights, Genspark ties NOXI at 95; the printed tie-breaks (P1, P2, P3) cannot separate them, as both score 5 on all three. ChatGPT is 2 points behind at 93.

What one seat costs Aiko for a year
| Option | Arithmetic | Cost a year | What the plan covers for her job |
|---|---|---|---|
| NOXI | 10 decks × 25 credits = 250 of 1,000 monthly credits | $0 | Editable .pptx and PDF, no watermark |
| Kimi Plus | 12 × $15, billed annually | $180 | More agent credits; slides included |
| Claude Pro | $200 billed up front | $200 | The PowerPoint add-in (Pro and up) |
| Genspark Plus | $239.99 billed annually | $239.99 | Export from the web app; the PowerPoint add-in |
| ChatGPT Plus | 12 × $20 | $240 | The PowerPoint add-in; Slides needs Pro |
| ChatGPT Pro | 12 × $100 (from) | $1,200 | ChatGPT Slides with export to PowerPoint |
Aiko's decision: NOXI for drafts and client files ($0 a year; 750 credits a month left over), and the ChatGPT for PowerPoint add-in on her company's existing ChatGPT Business seats for last-minute edits inside the file. Genspark, tied at 95, stays her alternative if clients ask for verification marks on each slide: $239.99 a year. She reviews the choice on 1 May 2027.

Key terms
Build it: make a NOXI deck from Claude with the connector
To make a NOXI deck from inside Claude, add NOXI as a custom connector with the address on noxi.ai/connect, sign in to NOXI, then ask Claude for the deck and name NOXI. The deck opens in NOXI to edit, present or export.
Create a [9]-slide NOXI presentation titled "[Choosing an AI agent for our decks]" for [our operations team]. Use [paste your scores table], our three checks (editable .pptx on our plan, sources on the slide, our template), the yearly cost of [our three options] with the arithmetic, and the decision with a review date of [1 May 2027].
Research [how logistics companies use AI agents in 2026] and turn it into an [8]-slide NOXI deck for [our leadership team], with the source and year of every figure on its slide.
In my latest NOXI deck, rewrite every slide title as a full sentence that states the finding, keep the cost arithmetic on one slide, and end with the decision, the owner and the review date.
Step 1 — Copy the connector address
Open noxi.ai/connect and copy the connector address, https://mcp.noxi.ai/mcp. You sign in to NOXI in your browser, so there is no API key to copy.
Step 2 — Add a custom connector in Claude
In Claude, navigate to Customize > Connectors. Click "+ Add" then "Add custom connector."
Step 3 — Name it NOXI and paste the address
Enter a name for the connector: NOXI. Add the remote MCP server URL, https://mcp.noxi.ai/mcp, and click "Continue." Review the authentication settings Claude detected and click "Continue."
Step 4 — Choose how you sign in, then add it
Under Authentication, choose how you connect, for example "Sign in now", and finish by clicking "Add." Sign in to NOXI in the window that opens and approve access.
Step 5 — Turn it on in a chat and ask for the deck
In a chat, click the "+" button on the lower left, then "Connectors", and toggle NOXI on. Paste Prompt 1 or Prompt 2 and name NOXI in the request; noxi.ai/connect says a deck can be created from a topic, a brief or an outline, optionally with fresh web research.
Step 6 — Open it in NOXI to edit, present or export
Open the deck in NOXI: change one slide or the whole deck by chat, present full-screen, or download an editable PowerPoint (.pptx) with real text boxes and embedded fonts, or a PDF.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the best AI agent for slides?
- On seven documented rules checked on 25 October 2026, NOXI scores highest with 98 of 100, followed by ChatGPT at 90, Kimi Slides at 88 and Genspark at 87. The rules count editable PowerPoint export, editing depth, sources on slides, import, Arabic layout, the free plan and where the tool runs, not design taste.
- Is Kimi Slides free?
- Kimi Slides is free to start. Kimi's pricing page lists the Adagio plan at $0, and its help says a certain amount of free credits is available each month, without stating the amount or a watermark rule. Kimi Plus costs $15 a month billed annually ($180), or $19 billed monthly.
- Can Kimi Slides export to PowerPoint?
- Yes. Kimi's help says that after generation you can download an editable PPT file, and its Slides page lists export to Google Slides, PowerPoint or PNG. No Kimi page states whether free exports carry a watermark, so this ranking gives Kimi 4 of 5 for export rather than 5.
- What are Kimi Slides' modes?
- Kimi PPT has two modes. Smart Layout lets Kimi generate the layout and style, suits decks with data and images, and takes about 5 to 10 minutes. Classic Templates fills library templates for fast, text-heavy drafts in about 3 to 5 minutes. To use your own template, upload a PPTX file.
- Can Z.ai make a PowerPoint?
- Not as a .pptx yet. Z.ai's developer docs say its slide agent exports PDF, with PPTX and other formats coming soon, and they document no file upload for slides. The agent can be called by API at $0.7 per million tokens. For an editable PowerPoint today, pick an agent that documents a .pptx download.
- Which AI agents put sources on slides?
- Of the eight agents scored, NOXI, Kimi Slides and Genspark document sources on the slide itself: NOXI's source line on figure slides of prompt-started decks, Kimi's on-slide citations and Genspark's verification marks with reference links. ChatGPT and Claude show citations in the chat; Manus says its decks are cited without saying where.
- Is ChatGPT Slides free?
- No. ChatGPT Slides launched on 16 October 2026 and is rolling out to eligible Pro, Business and Enterprise users with Space access. Pro starts at $100 a month. On Free and Go, OpenAI documents limited usage of ChatGPT for PowerPoint, the add-in that works inside the open PowerPoint file.
- Manus or Kimi for slides?
- On the same seven rules, Kimi scores 88 and Manus 75. Kimi documents on-slide citations, five input types with a 100 MB limit and monthly free credits; Manus lists slide generation for paid plans. Both download an editable .pptx and use your PowerPoint template. Pick Manus when one agent should also build websites and reports.
- Can an AI agent use my company template?
- Yes, most can. Kimi and Manus accept your .pptx template, Genspark turns an uploaded deck into a reusable Skill, Claude's add-in builds on your corporate templates, ChatGPT Slides takes an example deck to guide the style, and Skywork accepts a PPTX or PDF template. NOXI uses an uploaded PowerPoint, PDF or image as the style.
- Can I use NOXI from inside Claude?
- Yes, through the NOXI connector. In Claude, navigate to Customize > Connectors, click "+ Add", then "Add custom connector". Name it NOXI, add the remote MCP server URL from noxi.ai/connect, https://mcp.noxi.ai/mcp, choose a sign-in option and click "Add". Sign in to NOXI, approve access, then ask Claude for a deck naming NOXI.
