Disclosure: NOXI publishes this page and is one of the tools scored. That's why the rules, weights and the source of every cell are printed, along with where NOXI loses points. Every Manus fact below comes from Manus's own pages, opened on 25 October 2026.
Quick answer: Use Manus when one agent should research, analyse data and design it in your .pptx template, and pay from $20 a month. Use NOXI for an editable PowerPoint with source lines, Arabic layouts and a free monthly allowance. On seven rules, NOXI scores 98 and Manus 75 (25 October 2026). Manus resumed independent operations on 1 September 2026.
Most Manus Slides reviews in today's results describe 2025 features, and some still say Manus is part of Meta. This page reads Manus's own help centre, docs, blog and pricing page on one day, scores Manus and NOXI on the same rubric as our AI presentation tools ranking, and prints every rule and cell so you can re-run it.

Key numbers
The first three describe Manus as a company, not its slides; no rule rewards size.
NOXI vs Manus side by side (25 October 2026)
Manus is a general AI agent, and slides are one of its skills; NOXI is a presentation maker built only for decks. Both build a deck from a prompt, edit it by chat and in your own template, and export an editable .pptx. They differ on what you can upload, where sources appear, right-to-left layout and what the free plan includes.
| Item | Manus | NOXI |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A general agent for research, code, websites, documents, spreadsheets and slides [11] | An AI presentation maker: decks only |

Manus prices are US dollar list prices on Manus's pricing page and help centre, opened on 25 October 2026. Manus standardises prices in USD; you can pay in local currency, and your bank handles the conversion [20].
How we compared NOXI and Manus
NOXI and Manus were scored on documented capability with rubric P: seven criteria, one written rule each, applied the same way to both rows. We re-applied the rules of our AI presentation tools ranking on 25 October 2026; the ranking's method section has the full anchors.
| Code | Criterion | Weight | The rule (identical for both) |
|---|---|---|---|
| P1 | Editable PPTX export | 20 | 5 = an editable .pptx with real text boxes documented on the free plan with no badge, or the tool edits the native PowerPoint or Google Slides file; 4 = the same export on paid plans only, or free with a badge; 3 = the vendor documents visible differences or elements that become images; 2 = PDF or images only, or a third-party step; 1 = no file export documented. |
| P2 | Editing depth | 20 | 5 = four AI levels documented: whole deck, one slide, one selected element, your own template or brand kit as the style (plus manual editing); 4 = three; 3 = two; 1 = only regeneration, or only manual editing. |
| P3 | Research with sources | 15 | 5 = web research documented and the source appears on the slide; 4 = cited research, placement not stated; 3 = research or citations in the chat only; 2 = grounds on uploads, no sources shown; 1 = none documented. |
| P4 | Import | 15 | 5 = PDF, Word, Excel or CSV, PowerPoint and images all accepted to create a deck, with a stated size limit; 4 = four of five, or all five with no limit; 3 = two or three types; 2 = one; 1 = text prompt only. |
| P5 | Languages incl. RTL | 10 | 5 = right-to-left layout documented; 4 = a list naming Arabic; 3 = "many languages" without a list; 2 = no list; 1 = English only. |
| P6 | Free plan reality | 10 | 5 = free generation and editable export, no card, no watermark, a stated monthly allowance; 4 = a badged export or a small one-time pool; 3 = free generation without PowerPoint export; 2 = a time-limited trial only; 1 = no free use documented. |
| P7 | Where it runs | 10 | 5 = web + inside PowerPoint or Google Slides + an API, MCP server or connectors; 4 = web + one of those; 3 = web + desktop or mobile apps; 2 = web only, or a single host app. |
One clarification applies to every row: only official pages count. Strings in a product's JavaScript bundle or in-app messages are not official pages, for Manus and for NOXI alike.
The scored table: NOXI 98, Manus 75
NOXI scores 98 and Manus 75 out of 100 on the seven rules. NOXI gains 23 points on import, the free plan, PowerPoint export, right-to-left layout and sources on slides; the two are level on editing depth and on where they run. Manus leads on no criterion of this rubric, and leads on several things it does not score (below).

| Criterion | NOXI: rating and reason | Manus: rating and reason | Lead |
|---|---|---|---|
| P1 Export (20) | 5. Editable PowerPoint (.pptx) with real text boxes and embedded fonts, Arabic included, on the free account, no watermark | 4. "PowerPoint (.pptx): Fully editable in PowerPoint or Google Slides"; slide generation is listed only on paid plans [2][7] | NOXI +4 |
| P2 Editing (20) | 5. Edit one slide or the whole deck by chat; click an element and say what to change; Match reference uses your PowerPoint or PDF as the style; manual edits to text, tables and chart numbers | 5. "Ask Manus to make changes through conversation"; "Select the slide you want to edit"; "Point and edit visual elements"; "Upload your PowerPoint template (.pptx)" [7][9][10] | Level |
| P3 Sources (15) | 5. Prompt-started decks research the web first; slides with figures carry a source line linking to where each number came from | 4. Research decks with "properly cited content"; where the citation sits on the slide is not stated [8] | NOXI +3 |
| P4 Import (15) | 5. PDF, Word, Excel or CSV, PowerPoint and images, up to 200 MB per file | 3. A report or brief as a PDF or document, CSV or Excel data, a .pptx template; Word and images are not named and no limit is stated [7][8] | NOXI +6 |
| P5 RTL (10) | 5. Right-to-left slides; timelines and tables run right to left | 3. "All major languages." No list and no right-to-left layout statement [7] | NOXI +4 |
| P6 Free plan (10) | 5. 1,000 credits reset every month, a deck uses about 25, no card, no watermark | 2. The pricing page shows paid plans only; the Free plan's listing has no slide generation; the $40 plan offers a 7-day free trial [2][4] | NOXI +6 |
| P7 Where it runs (10) | 4. Web plus a connector for AI assistants at the address on noxi.ai/connect; a 5 also needs an add-in inside PowerPoint or Google Slides [16] | 4. Web, desktop and mobile apps, "a RESTful API", Gmail, Notion and Drive connectors; no PowerPoint or Google Slides add-in [11][13] | Level |
The arithmetic, row by row
Each weighted score is the rating divided by 5, times the criterion's weight; the totals are the sums of the seven weighted scores.
| Criterion | NOXI | Manus | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| P1 (20) | 5 ÷ 5 × 20 = 20 | 4 ÷ 5 × 20 = 16 | NOXI +4 |
| P2 (20) | 5 ÷ 5 × 20 = 20 | 5 ÷ 5 × 20 = 20 | 0 |
| P3 (15) | 5 ÷ 5 × 15 = 15 | 4 ÷ 5 × 15 = 12 | NOXI +3 |
| P4 (15) | 5 ÷ 5 × 15 = 15 | 3 ÷ 5 × 15 = 9 | NOXI +6 |
| P5 (10) | 5 ÷ 5 × 10 = 10 | 3 ÷ 5 × 10 = 6 | NOXI +4 |
| P6 (10) | 5 ÷ 5 × 10 = 10 | 2 ÷ 5 × 10 = 4 | NOXI +6 |
| P7 (10) | 4 ÷ 5 × 10 = 8 | 4 ÷ 5 × 10 = 8 | 0 |
| Total | 20 + 20 + 15 + 15 + 10 + 10 + 8 = 98 | 16 + 20 + 12 + 9 + 6 + 4 + 8 = 75 | 4 + 3 + 6 + 4 + 6 = 23 |
Why the gap is 23 points
The 23 points are 4 + 3 + 6 + 4 + 6, and 98 − 75 = 23. The largest pieces are the free plan (slides listed under paid plans) and import (three input types, no limit), at 6 each; export (editable but paid) and right-to-left layout add 4 each, and sources (placement not stated) 3. NOXI scores highest on these seven rules; its one missing point on P7 is the add-in inside PowerPoint or Google Slides that a 5 requires.
What would change the result
- NOXI 94 if the connector is not counted (P7 = 2).
- NOXI 89 for a deck started from an attached file: research and source lines are off by default then (P3 = 2: 490 − 45 = 445, ÷ 5 = 89).
- NOXI 90 if NOXI's in-product export notices ("Complex graphics … preserved as images") were counted as documented differences (P1 = 3). They are in-app messages, not an official page, so the rule that excludes app strings for every tool keeps P1 at 5; the line is printed for transparency.
- Manus 78 if Manus names Word as an input (P4 = 4).
- Manus's free plan is the closest call. A 29 April 2026 Manus post says one image feature of Manus Slides "is available to all users" [10], while the plans page lists slide generation under paid plans [2]. The plan page decides, so P6 stays at 2: the $40 plan's 7-day free trial is the documented free route.
No line changes the order: even NOXI's lowest line (89, a deck started from a file) against Manus's highest (78) leaves an 11-point gap.
Our June 2026 hands-on test, a different method
Our June 2026 test of twelve AI presentation makers ran the same briefs through each tool and ranked the results by hand: NOXI came first and Manus seventh. That test is separate from the documented-capability score on this page and is not added to it.
What is Manus Slides?
Manus Slides is the slide skill of Manus, a general AI agent that researches, writes code, builds websites and makes documents, spreadsheets and decks in one conversation. You describe the deck, Manus plans and researches it, and exports a .pptx, a PDF or web slides; Manus estimates about 5 minutes for a simple 10-slide deck and about 15 minutes for a 40-slide research deck [7].
The three slide modes: Standard, Image and PowerPoint
Manus's slide tool has a mode menu with three options. Its 14 July 2026 post says "In the mode dropdown, choose PowerPoint (you will see it alongside Standard and Image)" [8].
| Mode | What Manus says it produces | When to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | The default deck, with layouts, text, charts and images, exported to .pptx, PDF or web slides [7] | Most research and business decks |
| Image | "each slide is generated as a single, high-resolution image" [17] | Visual decks you will not edit as text |
| PowerPoint | A deck built for PowerPoint in which "Every chart retains its embedded data table"; launched in beta "for users on the 1.6 and Max models" (14 July 2026) [8] | Decks whose charts someone will edit in PowerPoint or Google Slides |
If the deck will be edited after export, choose Standard or PowerPoint mode: an Image-mode slide is one picture, not a set of text boxes.
Manus AI slides in 2026: what changed
Three dated Manus posts set today's picture. PowerPoint mode arrived in beta on 14 July 2026 [8]. Manus 2.0, released on 28 September 2026, "is available now on the web, desktop, and mobile", with Manus Studio upgrades for "documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, and slides" [11]. Manus Flex, on 29 September 2026, lets you bring your own model API key, while other services still use Manus credits [12].
Manus presentation maker: the inputs it documents
Manus documents three ways in: a report, whitepaper or brief ("PDF or document → deck"), CSV or Excel data for charts, and a .pptx template [7][8]. No size limit, Word input or image input is named, hence P4 = 3.
Who owns Manus now? Is Manus owned by Meta?
No longer, by Manus's own account. Manus's blog announced "Manus is joining Meta" on 29 December 2025, and its blog post of 1 September 2026 says "Manus has formally resumed independent operations" and "Our founding team will continue to lead the company" [5][6].

Why do some pages still say otherwise? Pages written between those two dates can describe Manus as part of Meta, and on 25 October 2026 a Chinese-language page on Manus's own blog still carried a "part of Meta" header above an older slides post. The later post, dated 1 September 2026, is the one that describes Manus today. For a decision, read the date on the page you are quoting.
Is Manus free for slides?
Manus has a $0 Free plan with 300 credits a day, but its help centre lists slide generation under the paid plans, from $20 a month. Daily credits are capped at 1,500 a month for free users and "can only be used for Manus 2.0 lite" [2][3]. For slides, plan on a paid month.
Manus credits: how many does a deck use?
Manus does not publish a credit cost per deck. Its help centre explains the order in which credits are spent, and its docs give time estimates (about 5 minutes for 10 slides, about 15 for 40), but no page converts a deck into credits [3][7]. If you need a budget, run one deck on the plan you are considering and read the credit count in your account before and after.
Is Manus free for students?
The plan pages we opened on 25 October 2026 list no student plan or discount; the Free plan above is the free route [2][3].
NOXI's free plan works differently: each account gets 1,000 credits a month, reset on the first of the month, and a full deck uses about 25, with no card and no watermark. That is the documented fact behind NOXI's 5 on P6.
Manus pricing in 2026: plans and credits
Manus's pricing page shows three paid plans on 25 October 2026: $20 a month with 4,000 credits, $40 with 8,000 and $200 with 40,000, each with 300 refresh credits a day, and an annual toggle marked "Save 17%". Team starts at $20 per seat a month [2][4].
| Plan | Per month | Credits | 12 months, monthly billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 300 a day, capped at 1,500 a month, Lite model only; slide generation not listed [2][3] | $0 |
| $20 plan | $20 | 4,000 a month, plus 300 a day; slide generation listed [2][4] | 12 × $20 = $240 |
| $40 plan | $40, with a 7-day free trial | 8,000 a month [2][4] | 12 × $40 = $480 |
| $200 plan | $200 | 40,000 a month [4] | 12 × $200 = $2,400 |
| Team | From $20 per seat | Includes the paid features; adds a training opt-out [2] | From $240 per seat |
Annual billing takes about 17% off: $240 × 0.83 = $199.20 a year for the $20 plan, on Manus's percentage. Prices are set in US dollars; if you pay in another currency, your bank converts it and may add a fee [20]. Our AI presentation tools ranking scores 20 presentation tools on the same rubric.
Manus slides themes and templates: is there a theme names list for 2026?
No. Manus publishes no list of slide theme names, in 2026 or before. Its slides documentation offers two routes instead: "Pre-Built Templates" and "Upload Your Template", where you click Import template, upload a PowerPoint template (.pptx), and "Manus applies your layouts, colors, and fonts" [7].
Manus also runs template landing pages by subject. Its medical page, headed "Medical slide templates for every healthcare need", lists categories such as clinical case, healthcare research and nursing presentations [15]. These are subjects you start from, not named visual themes, and no official page lists theme names you could pick from a menu. Any "Manus theme names list" you find elsewhere was not published by Manus on the pages we opened.
Using your own template in Manus
Upload your company's .pptx through Import template and ask for the deck; Manus states it applies the template's layouts, colours and fonts [7]. This is documented on the pages that describe paid-plan slides, and it earns part of Manus's 5 on P2. For a step-by-step look at template routes across tools, see our guide to AI presentations in your own template.
Exporting Manus slides to PowerPoint and Google Slides
Manus exports four formats: PowerPoint (.pptx), "Fully editable in PowerPoint or Google Slides"; PDF, "Print-ready for distribution"; web slides, "Interactive browser-based presentation"; and a separate notes document. A 29 April 2026 post adds export to Google Slides and saving to Google Drive or OneDrive [7][10].
Are Manus slides editable in PowerPoint?
Yes, for Standard and PowerPoint mode: Manus's docs call the .pptx "Fully editable in PowerPoint or Google Slides", and PowerPoint mode keeps each chart's data table so you can "edit the numbers" in PowerPoint or Google Slides [7][8]. Image mode is the exception: each slide is "a single, high-resolution image" [17].
Whichever tool you use, open the exported file once in PowerPoint or Google Slides and check fonts and chart labels on two or three slides before you share it.
Where Manus leads
Manus leads where a single agent, apps and data-linked charts matter: PowerPoint mode keeps each chart's data table in the .pptx, Manus runs as desktop and mobile apps, it has a REST API and connectors for Gmail, Notion and Drive, and the same agent also builds websites and research reports [8][11][13].
| Manus strength | What Manus documents | NOXI's route for the same job |
|---|---|---|
| Chart data in PowerPoint | "Every chart retains its embedded data table. Click any chart in Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides and edit the numbers" (PowerPoint mode, beta) [8] | Twelve chart types built from your data or researched figures; you edit the numbers inside NOXI |
| Apps | Manus 2.0 "available now on the web, desktop, and mobile" [11] | NOXI runs in the browser, phone included: generate, edit with AI, present and share |
| API and connectors | "The Manus API is a RESTful API"; Gmail, Notion and Google Drive connectors [13] | Connect NOXI to your assistant with the address on noxi.ai/connect [16] |
| One agent, many outputs | Research, code, websites, documents, spreadsheets, PDFs and slides in one tool [11] | NOXI builds decks; pair it with the assistant you already use |
| Bring your own key | Manus Flex: model inference billed by your provider (29 September 2026) [12] | Not needed: NOXI's monthly allowance is free |
If two of these rows describe your week, Manus fits those decks, whatever the total says.
What these rules don't measure
Rubric P measures what a vendor documents before you pay. It does not measure design quality, speed, how often a tool gets a figure wrong, collaboration features, video, or how well an agent handles tasks beyond slides, and it gives NOXI a 5 on six of seven criteria, so read it with this list beside it.
- Breadth beyond decks. Manus is a general agent that also builds websites and research reports and runs scheduled automations; rubric P scores only the deck [2][11].
- Charts that stay chart objects in PowerPoint. Manus's PowerPoint mode keeps each chart's data table (beta). No rubric P criterion scores it.
- Native apps. Manus has desktop and mobile apps; NOXI runs in the browser, phone included. On P7 Manus's 4 comes from its API and connectors, so the apps add nothing to its score.
- Output quality and speed. No official page measures either in a form a printed rule can score. Manus states its own time estimates; we did not time either tool for this page.
- Accuracy. Neither vendor publishes an error rate. Check every figure on a slide against its source; our guide to AI presentations with research citations shows how.
The fair test is your own: run one real brief through both, open both files in PowerPoint, and compare the slides you would actually send.
Manus vs ChatGPT agent and other AI agents for slides
On the same seven rules on 25 October 2026, the other agents score ChatGPT 90, Kimi Slides 88 and Genspark 87, all above Manus at 75. ChatGPT's total covers its PowerPoint add-in and ChatGPT Slides, which began rolling out on 16 October 2026 to eligible Pro, Business and Enterprise users [18].
| Tool | Total | Its documented edge over Manus on rubric P |
|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | 90 | Works inside PowerPoint through its add-in, on Free and Go with limited use; ChatGPT Slides edits a selected element |
| Kimi Slides | 88 | "on-slide citations you can trace"; PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, text and images up to 100 MB |
| Genspark | 87 | A verification mark with reference links on each checked slide; a PowerPoint add-in |
| Claude | 81 | A PowerPoint add-in; decks go to Google Slides as editable files |
| Manus | 75 | Level with ChatGPT and Genspark on editing depth (5) |
All rows are copied from the same shared table as the two scored above. The full ranking of eight agents, with every cell, is in our best AI agent for slides ranking, and Genspark is compared head to head in Genspark vs Gamma.
Manus alternatives for slides
Pick the alternative by the job: for decks that must land in PowerPoint with sources on the slide, a dedicated deck maker or an agent with a PowerPoint add-in (ChatGPT, Genspark, Claude); for one agent that also builds sites, Manus remains the documented route. Consultants can compare the deck makers on their own work in our AI presentation tools for consultants guide.
What Manus Slides Reddit threads argue about
The searches behind "manus slides reddit" and "manus credits not refreshing" come down to credits: how fast a deck uses them, why daily credits stop, and whether free users can make slides. Manus's help centre answers the last two: daily credits are capped at 1,500 a month for free users and slides are listed under paid plans [2][3]. Credits per deck remain unpublished.
Manus AI review (2026): our verdict
Manus is a capable general agent with a documented editable .pptx, a template upload, four editing levels and charts that keep their data in PowerPoint mode. As a slide tool on rubric P it scores 75, held back by paid-only slides, three named input types and no language list.
Does Manus train on my content?
Manus may, if you allow it. Its privacy policy, last updated 28 September 2026, refers to content being "disassociated from your account when you allow us to use your content to improve our models", and its plans page lists "Data Training Opt-Out" as a Team-plan feature [2][14]. The default for individual plans is not stated on those pages.
For a client deck, that means checking the setting in your Manus account before you upload a client's files, or using a Team plan where the opt-out is documented. NOXI's privacy policy (updated 20 September 2026) states: "We do not use your presentations, prompts, or uploaded files to train or fine-tune AI models" [19].
Worked example: one consultant, one agent or one deck tool
A consultant who makes eight decks a month can pay $240 a year for Manus's $20 plan, about $199.20 on annual billing, or $80 by paying only in the four months with chart-heavy reporting packs, and build the narrative decks in NOXI for $0. The documented need, not the total score, decides the split.
Step 1: the cost of a year of Manus
Slides are listed on Manus's paid plans, so his options are: 12 × $20 = $240 a year on monthly billing; about $240 × 0.83 = $199.20 on annual billing; or 4 × $20 = $80 if he subscribes only in the four quarter-end months. The quarterly route saves $240 − $80 = $160 against monthly billing, which is $160 ÷ $240 = 66.7% less, and $199.20 − $80 = $119.20 against annual billing, which is $119.20 ÷ $199.20 = 59.8% less.

Step 2: does NOXI's free allowance cover the rest?
In a normal month all 8 decks go to NOXI: 8 × 25 = 200 credits, 20% of the 1,000-credit allowance. In a quarter-end month, 2 decks go to NOXI: 2 × 25 = 50 credits. Over the year that is 8 × 200 + 4 × 50 = 1,600 + 200 = 1,800 credits, the same as 72 decks × 25 = 1,800, out of 12 × 1,000 = 12,000 credits. NOXI costs him $0.
Step 3: re-weight the rubric to his priorities
His decks are in English and he does not mind paying, so he moves the 10 points of P5 (right-to-left) and the 10 points of P6 (free plan) to P2 (editing depth): P2 = 40, P5 = 0, P6 = 0. Check: 20 + 40 + 15 + 15 + 0 + 0 + 10 = 100.
| Criterion (his weight) | NOXI | Manus |
|---|---|---|
| P1 (20) | 5 ÷ 5 × 20 = 20 | 4 ÷ 5 × 20 = 16 |
| P2 (40) | 5 ÷ 5 × 40 = 40 | 5 ÷ 5 × 40 = 40 |
| P3 (15) | 15 | 12 |
| P4 (15) | 15 | 9 |
| P5 (0) | 0 | 0 |
| P6 (0) | 0 | 0 |
| P7 (10) | 8 | 8 |
| Total | 20 + 40 + 15 + 15 + 8 = 98 | 16 + 40 + 12 + 9 + 8 = 85 |
NOXI still leads, 98 to 85; the gap shrinks from 23 to 13 because the two are level on editing, the criterion he weights most. Tomás keeps NOXI for the narrative decks and pays for Manus in the four quarter-end months for one documented reason his weights do not capture: in PowerPoint mode, his clients can click each chart and edit the numbers [8]. He sets a review date of 1 April 2027. Your weights will differ: write down the jobs you pay for, re-weight, and recompute. For the market-sizing slides in his packs, our TAM SAM SOM slide guide has the structure.
Here are three slides from the deck NOXI built for this article's worked example, unedited.

Where NOXI fits
NOXI is our pick for an editable PowerPoint with a source line on every slide with figures, right-to-left Arabic layouts and a free monthly allowance. It builds a full, designed deck from a topic, a brief or a file, and lets you edit it by chat or on the slide.
Describe your topic and NOXI builds the full deck; you can review the outline first or generate straight away, and watch each slide being built. When you start from a prompt, NOXI researches the topic on the web first, and slides with figures carry a source line linking to where each number came from. NOXI adds images where a slide needs one, and twelve chart types are built from your data or from researched figures; you can edit the numbers inside NOXI.
Upload any PowerPoint, PDF or even an image with Match reference and NOXI designs the deck in that style; invite people by email or link to edit together in real time, and restore earlier versions. Your presentations, prompts and files are not used to train AI models.
Three prompts for a NOXI deck
"Create a 10-slide deck for [client] on [topic] for [audience]. Research the topic first, put a source line on every slide with a figure, make every title a full-sentence finding, and end with the decision, the owner and the review date."
"Build a 9-slide deck comparing [tool A] and [tool B] for [team]: the verdict, the seven criteria with each rating and its reason, the arithmetic of both totals, where each tool leads, the yearly cost and a recommendation. Keep body text under 30 words per slide."
"Turn slide [number] into a two-column table of [option A] and [option B], shorten every title to one line, change the chart colours to [brand colour], then export the deck as PowerPoint."
Build it: make a client deck in NOXI from scratch
To make the deck in NOXI, choose Create from scratch on the Home screen, describe the topic and audience, review the outline or generate straight away, edit by chat, then download an editable PowerPoint or a PDF. One flow, six steps:
Step 1 — Choose Create from scratch
Open noxi.ai and pick Create from scratch on the Home screen. You can start a deck before signing in; downloading needs a free account, with no card.
Step 2 — Describe the deck
Write the topic, the audience, the number of slides and the decision the deck must support, or paste Prompt 1. Name the client and the date so every slide carries them.
Step 3 — Review the outline or generate straight away
Choose to review the outline first and adjust slide titles and order, or generate straight away. NOXI researches the topic on the web first, and you watch each slide being built.
Step 4 — Check the figures and their source lines
Slides with figures carry a source line linking to where each number came from. Open the links on your key slides and confirm each figure matches its source before the deck goes to a client.
Step 5 — Edit by chat or on the slide
Ask the AI to change one slide or the whole deck in plain language, click any element and tell it what to change, edit text right on the slide, or edit a chart's numbers inside NOXI.
Step 6 — Download, present or share
Download an editable PowerPoint (.pptx) with real text boxes and embedded fonts, or a PDF, free and with no watermark. You can also present full-screen or share a view-only or edit link.
Manus Slides and NOXI vs Manus: FAQ
- Is Manus Slides free?
- Not in practice. Manus's Free plan gives 300 credits a day, capped at 1,500 a month and usable only with its Lite model, but its help centre lists slide generation under the paid plans, which start at $20 a month with 4,000 credits. The $40 plan offers a 7-day free trial, checked on 25 October 2026.
- Is Manus owned by Meta?
- Not any more, by Manus's own account. Manus's blog announced that Manus was joining Meta on 29 December 2025. Its blog post dated 1 September 2026 says Manus "has formally resumed independent operations" and that its founding team will continue to lead the company. Pages written in between may still describe Manus as part of Meta.
- What are Manus slide themes called?
- Manus publishes no list of theme names. Its slides documentation offers "Pre-Built Templates" and "Upload Your Template", where you import your own .pptx and Manus applies its layouts, colours and fonts. Manus also has subject landing pages, such as medical slide templates, but no official page lists named visual themes to pick from.
- Can Manus export to PowerPoint?
- Yes. Manus's docs list four exports: a PowerPoint .pptx, "Fully editable in PowerPoint or Google Slides", a print-ready PDF, interactive web slides and a separate notes document. A 29 April 2026 post adds export to Google Slides and saving to Google Drive or OneDrive. Slide generation itself is listed on Manus's paid plans.
- Are Manus slides editable in PowerPoint?
- Yes in Standard and PowerPoint mode: Manus calls its .pptx fully editable, and PowerPoint mode, in beta since 14 July 2026, keeps each chart's data table so you can edit the numbers in PowerPoint. Image mode differs: Manus says each slide is generated as a single high-resolution image, so its text is not editable as text.
- How many credits does a Manus deck use?
- Manus does not publish a credit cost per deck. Its help centre explains the order in which credits are spent, and its docs estimate about 5 minutes for a simple 10-slide deck and about 15 minutes for a 40-slide research deck. To budget, run one deck and compare your credit balance before and after.
- Can I use my own template in Manus?
- Yes. In Manus's slides tool, click Import template and upload a PowerPoint template (.pptx); Manus states that it applies your layouts, colours and fonts to the new deck. This is documented alongside the paid-plan slide features. NOXI's equivalent is Match reference, which accepts any PowerPoint, PDF or image as the style.
- Does Manus cite sources on slides?
- Manus says its research decks contain "properly cited content", in its 14 July 2026 post, but the pages we opened do not say where a citation appears on the slide. That is why Manus scores 4 of 5 on P3. NOXI scores 5 because its slides with figures carry a source line, for decks started from a prompt.
- Does Manus train on my content?
- It may, if you allow it. Manus's privacy policy, updated 28 September 2026, refers to using your content to improve its models when you allow it, and its plans page lists a data-training opt-out as a Team-plan feature. The default for individual plans is not stated, so check your account settings before uploading client files.
- What is the difference between Manus and NOXI?
- Manus is a general AI agent that makes slides among many tasks; NOXI is built only for presentations. On seven printed rules (25 October 2026), NOXI scores 98 and Manus 75. Manus leads on desktop and mobile apps, an API and charts that keep their data in PowerPoint; NOXI on import, sources on slides, Arabic layouts and its free plan.
