Disclosure: NOXI publishes this page and is one of the twelve tools scored. That's why the rules, the weights and the source of every cell are printed, along with the rules where other tools finish ahead of NOXI.
Best certificate maker, on seven printed rules checked 5 November 2026: Certifier leads on 83 of 100, then Canva 80, Adobe Express 73 and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint 73. NOXI is fifth of twelve on 65, with full marks for a print-ready A4 or Letter PDF, a certificate from one sentence, a view link and Arabic right to left.
A certificate is a design job for one name and a data job for thirty: a page that prints cleanly in the right language, then a list of names, a way to send them, and sometimes a way for a stranger to check one is real. This page scores twelve certificate makers on both halves with the same seven rules, from the vendors' own pages opened on 5 November 2026.
Certifier is first on 83, the only one of the twelve with full marks for a certificate from a prompt, names from a spreadsheet, a verification page and email delivery. Canva is second on 80, with full marks on five rules; its free plan watermarks premium elements, and its Bulk Create needs Pro or the free Canva Education for teachers. Adobe Express and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint both score 73, and the AI rule puts Adobe Express third. NOXI is fifth of twelve on 65, with full marks on four rules: a print-ready PDF (landscape A4 by default, A4 or Letter in the Design panel), a certificate from one sentence, a view link anyone can open, and Arabic right to left. The spreadsheet rule goes to eight tools and the verification rule to five; NOXI makes one certificate per request and changes the name when you ask in the chat. Its free download carries no watermark, and the free plan covers five documents a month, which this page reads as a cap for NOXI as for every tool. Read without that cap, NOXI is third on 75; without the right-to-left rule, it is sixth.
One finding runs through the table: none of the fourteen free plans we read takes full marks for a download without a watermark. Each states a cap, marks the free file, or says nothing about watermarks.
Best certificate maker: the twelve at a glance
On seven documented rules checked on 5 November 2026, Certifier scores 83 of 100, Canva 80 and Adobe Express 73, and 45 points separate first from twelfth.

Where other tools finish ahead of NOXI, plainly. NOXI is fifth of twelve on 65. The four tools above it all take 15 for many names from a spreadsheet; NOXI makes one certificate per request. Canva's 15-point lead is that rule alone: on the other six rules the two rows are identical. Adobe Express and Microsoft are 8 ahead, 15 on names against 7 the other way, on right to left for Adobe and on the AI rule for Microsoft. Certifier is 18 ahead, adding 10 for its verification page and giving back 7 on right to left. NOXI takes full marks on C3, C4, C6 and C7. C1 is 10: no watermark on the free plan, and five documents a month, which the rule counts as a cap.

Who should pick what
Six needs point to six tools, and five of them are not ours.
- If a class or staff list has to become certificates with a verification page then Certifier, which says "Upload CSV or Excel lists" and gives every certificate a verification page; its free Starter plan issues 250 a year [2].
- If your school already runs Word on the desktop and the list is in Excel then Microsoft Word, whose mail merge pulls names "from your spreadsheet into your document", with right to left documented for Arabic [5].
- If you teach K-12, or pay for Canva, and want designed certificates in many names then Canva, whose Bulk Create takes up to 300 rows on Pro and above and on Canva Education, free for verified teachers [3].
- If a course needs credentials anyone can check then Sertifier, which makes certificates "verifiable via QR code and blockchain-backed URL", with a free plan for up to 25 people [6].
- If your quiz already runs in Google Forms then Certify'em, where "A unique PDF certificate is generated for each participant" [12].
- If you need one certificate in Arabic and English from one sentence, with no watermark on the download then NOXI, which sets the page right to left, exports a landscape A4 PDF and changes the name when you ask in the chat [1].
In short
- The leaderCertifier, 83 of 100, the one tool of twelve with full marks for a prompt, a spreadsheet, a verification page and email delivery.
- Where NOXI sitsFifth of twelve on 65, with full marks on four rules; third on 75 if its five-a-month cap is not counted.
- The findingNot one of fourteen free plans takes full marks for a free download without a watermark, and only Canva and Microsoft pair a spreadsheet merge with full right to left.
- MethodDocumented capability from official pages opened on 5 November 2026. Not a new hands-on test.
Key numbers
Certificate generator or certificate maker: which one you need
A certificate maker designs the page; a certificate generator fills one design with many names from a list, and often sends and verifies the results. Eight of the twelve take full marks for names from a list, five take full marks for a certificate from one sentence, and three do both: Certifier, Canva and Adobe Express.
The twelve fall into four kinds. Issuing platforms (Certifier, Sertifier, SimpleCert, Certify'em) are built around the list: upload names, send, verify. Design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, Microsoft, PosterMyWall, Visme) start from a page you shape. Document generators (CraftMyPDF, Bannerbear) turn data into PDFs. NOXI is a document maker: NOXI 2.0 makes 14 formats from one request, namely presentation, document, brochure, social post, poster, one-pager, report, proposal, résumé, infographic, letter, invitation, certificate and menu, or Auto to let NOXI choose. The NOXI 2.0 launch article describes Certificate as a landscape A4 sheet with recipient, achievement, date and signatures [1].
On 5 November 2026 the first page of results for "best certificate maker" was eight vendor tool pages and one vendor's own list that puts its product first.
How we scored: seven rules, 100 points, printed in full
Seven rules worth 100 points decide every number here, and the free-download rule is the heaviest at 20.
| Code | Rule (points) | What each level needs, identical for every tool |
|---|---|---|
| C1 | Free download without a watermark (20) | 20 = the free plan downloads a finished certificate with no watermark, documented, and no cap · 10 = watermark or branding, a cap, or premium elements watermarked · 0 = paid only |
| C2 | Many names at once (15) | 15 = bulk from a spreadsheet, CSV or Google Sheet documented (plan named) · 0 = not documented |
| C3 | Print-ready PDF (15) | 15 = PDF at A4 or US Letter documented · 8 = image only, or PDF with no named print size · 0 = screen only |
| C4 | A certificate from one sentence (15) | 15 = AI generates a certificate design from a prompt · 8 = AI fills or rewrites a chosen template · 0 = templates only |
| C5 | Verifiable credential (10) | 10 = verification page, QR code or digital credential documented · 0 = not documented |
| C6 | Share or send without printing (10) | 10 = share link or email delivery documented · 0 = download only |
| C7 | Right to left (15) | 15 = Arabic or Hebrew right to left documented · 8 = several languages, none right to left · 0 = not documented |
Five readings that settle the close cells
- C1 counts a cap, for every row, NOXI included. A free plan that states a monthly, daily or yearly limit takes 10, even when its download is watermark-free in writing.
- C1 wants "no watermark" in writing. Silence on watermarks takes 10, and so does a "made with" label on the free file.
- C4 wants certificates named. A prompt-to-design route tied to certificates is 15; AI that rewrites a template's text, or a generator documented only for other designs, is 8.
- C7 wants a direction, not a font. Naming Arabic without a right-to-left layout, or several languages with none right to left, is 8. Adobe calls its own right-to-left support partial, so Adobe Express takes 8.
- C2 takes a documented bulk route even when the plan is not named, and the cell says "plan not stated" (Adobe Express, Sertifier).
The chain decides two ties: C4 puts Adobe Express above Microsoft on 73, and C2 puts CraftMyPDF above PosterMyWall on 51. NOXI's cells rest on its 2.0 product record; where it states nothing, NOXI takes the low mark.
Best certificate maker compared: every cell, and why each half mark is half
Certifier's 83 is 10 plus 15 plus 15 plus 15 plus 10 plus 10 plus 8, every row adds the same way, and every cell that is neither full nor zero carries its reason.
| # | Tool | C1 Free (20) | C2 Names (15) | C3 Print (15) | C4 Sentence (15) | C5 Verify (10) | C6 Send (10) | C7 RTL (15) | Total |

| line | Certificate Magic | 10 · silent on watermarks | 0 | 8 · PDF, no size named | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 18 |
Venngage and Certificate Magic are named lines, scored on the same rules and printed below the twelve without a rank.
The gaps between the rows you will actually compare
- Certifier 83 minus Canva 80 = 3, made of C5 plus 10 for Certifier's verification page, against C7, where Canva is 7 ahead on right to left.
- Canva 80 minus Adobe Express 73 = 7, and it is C7 alone: Adobe calls its right-to-left support partial.
- Microsoft 73 minus NOXI 65 = 8, made of C2 plus 15 for Word's mail merge, against C4 plus 7 for NOXI's certificate from one sentence.
- NOXI 65 minus Sertifier 61 = 4: C3, C4 and C7 for NOXI (7, 7 and 15), against C2 and C5 for Sertifier (15 and 10).
For Canva and Adobe Express beyond certificates, our Canva vs Adobe Express comparison scores them head to head.
Sensitivity readings, including the ones that move NOXI
NOXI's cap not counted. At C1 20, NOXI scores 75 and is third. Caps ignored for every row: Certifier 93, Canva 80, NOXI 75 third, Adobe Express 73, Microsoft 73, and PosterMyWall rises to sixth on 61. Certifier's cap alone not counted: 93, first.
Without the right-to-left rule, rescaled to 100. Certifier 88.2, Adobe Express 76.5, Canva 76.5, Sertifier 71.8, Microsoft 68.2, NOXI 58.8 and sixth. This is the reading for a certificate that will only ever be in English.
Equal weights. Each cell as a share of its maximum, averaged: Certifier 86.2, Canva 78.6, Adobe Express 71.9, Microsoft 71.9, Sertifier 65.2, NOXI 64.3 and sixth, CraftMyPDF 51.0, PosterMyWall 51.0.
Single cells, each leaving NOXI fifth. Microsoft's silence on watermarks read as no watermark: 83, first on C1. Adobe Express at full on right to left: 80, level with Canva and second on the name. Canva's help list of AI design types read as excluding certificates: Canva 73 and third.

Free certificate maker: which downloads carry no watermark
Twelve of the fourteen free plans take the middle mark on C1 and two take zero. Prices are in the currency each page showed on 5 November 2026, and nothing is converted.
- Certifier. Its free AI generator says "There are no fees, no watermarks, and no login needed to get started." Its pricing page sets the free Starter plan's "Annual issuing limit: 250 certificates/badges" [2].
- Canva. "Premium elements will have watermarks on your design if you're a Canva Free user." The pricing page, served in the UAE, showed Pro at 440 UAE dirhams a year for one person [3]. Our page on whether Canva is free covers the rest of the free plan.
- Adobe Express. Free is "AED0.00" with no credit card, the free plan names "10 PDF Quick Actions per month" and "limited assets", and Premium showed "AED38.85/mo". The pricing page never uses the word watermark [4].
- Microsoft. "Create and download as many certificates as needed for free." The page says nothing about watermarks [5].
- NOXI. Free to start: the free plan covers five documents a month, and every change after that, by chat or by hand, is free. Downloads carry no watermark, on the free plan too, no credit card is needed to start, and new accounts get a welcome gift for their first 14 days. Creating needs a free account [1].
- Sertifier. "The free plan covers up to 25 people"; the pricing page showed $750 a year at its default selector of 500 people [6].
- CraftMyPDF. The free tool needs no registration, and the free plan includes "50 PDFs or images per month" [7].
- PosterMyWall. Standard downloads "are free and watermark-free", "within a monthly limit", on an FAQ updated on 29 October 2026 [8].
- Visme. "Download options, premium assets, and advanced sharing features are available on paid plans." [9].
- SimpleCert offers "FREE 50 Introductory Credits"; Bannerbear lets you "download up to 5 beautiful PDF certificates per day for free"; Certify'em caps free sends at 60 email recipients a day, and removing its "Made for free with Certify'em" label needs Gold ($7.99 USD a month) or Platinum ($12.99) [10][11][12].
- Venngage, a named line: "Free users cannot download designs but can share them via link sharing." Certificate Magic downloads a PDF "as many times as you like", silent on watermarks [13][14].

Two contradictions to know before you start: Visme's page is titled "Generate Certificates with AI" while its plans page puts downloads on paid plans, and Venngage's AI generator builds a layout that its free users cannot download. The help or pricing page decides both cells [9][13].
Bulk certificate generator: 28 names from one spreadsheet
Eight of the twelve take full marks for making many certificates from one list, and only two of those eight, Canva and Microsoft, also take full marks for right to left.
- Certifier: "Upload CSV or Excel lists", on the free Starter plan within 250 a year [2].
- Canva: Bulk Create on Pro and above and on Canva Education, on the web and the desktop app, from CSV or XLSX files of up to 300 rows [3].
- Adobe Express: "up to 249 variations of a chosen design" from a CSV; the help page of 30 September 2026 names no plan [4].
- Microsoft Word: mail merge "from your spreadsheet into your document", documented for the desktop app on Windows and macOS; Microsoft 365 Personal showed $99.99 a year or $9.99 a month on the US store [5].
- Sertifier, CraftMyPDF and SimpleCert: a CSV or recipient list; Sertifier names no plan, and CraftMyPDF's free plan covers 50 a month [6][7][10].
- Bannerbear: batches from Airtable on paid plans or the trial; Automate showed $49 USD a month [11].
Four take zero. Certify'em issues from Google Form responses, not an imported sheet; PosterMyWall and Visme document no spreadsheet route. NOXI makes one certificate per request, and you change the name by asking in the chat or by typing; that is one document of your five, and every change after it is free [1][9][12].

The free routes thin out for a bilingual list. Certifier names five languages, none right to left; CraftMyPDF names Arabic fonts without a direction; Sertifier generates English only; Adobe Express names no plan and calls its right-to-left support partial [2][4][6][7]. The one free merge with full right to left is for teachers: Canva Education, which Canva calls "100% free" for K-12 educators once verified, includes Bulk Create [3].
AI certificate generator: who makes a certificate from one sentence
Five of the twelve take full marks for a certificate designed from a prompt, three take the middle mark for AI that writes the text or designs something other than certificates, and four have no AI design route on the pages we read.
Full marks. Certifier promises to "Instantly turn your prompt into a custom certificate design" [2]. Canva's Magic Design page covers designs "from social media posts to certificates and more" [3]. Adobe Express lists "Fast creation with generative AI" on its certificate maker [4]. Visme titles its page "Generate Certificates with AI" [9]. NOXI makes a certificate from one request in its Certificate format [1]. Venngage's line takes the same mark [13].
The middle mark. Microsoft's page offers to "Draft thoughtful formal or friendly messages with Copilot in PowerPoint" inside templates [5]. Sertifier's AI page says "You still design your certificate, but the AI will help" [6]. PosterMyWall's AI "generates editable flyer and poster designs", and certificates are not named [8].
Zero. CraftMyPDF, SimpleCert, Bannerbear and Certify'em fill a design you build yourself.
One cell is fragile: Canva's help article on Magic Design lists design types without certificates, while the Magic Design page names them. Read the help way, Canva scores 73 and sits third. For a printed sign or event sheet rather than a certificate, our poster maker ranking scores eleven tools on print sizes and commercial use.
Print-ready PDF: A4 or US Letter
Seven of the twelve take full marks for a PDF at a named print size. Four name 8.5 by 11 inches (Canva, Adobe Express, Microsoft and Visme), and three name A4 (Certifier and NOXI, both with Letter as well, and PosterMyWall).
- Certifier: two formats, A4 and US Letter, with PDF, PNG and JSON downloads [2].
- Canva: "print-ready PDF files", and "Most certificate awards are 8.5 x 11 in" [3].
- Adobe Express: its FAQ prints certificates on 8.5 by 11 inch letter paper, landscape, and PDF Print can add crop marks and bleed [4].
- Microsoft: "templates already sized in 8.5 x 11 inch landscape orientation", saved as PDF, JPEG or PNG [5].
- NOXI: a landscape A4 sheet by default, A4 and Letter in the Design panel, and a PDF compared with the page before the download appears [1].
- PosterMyWall: "A4 and custom sizes are also available", with PDF the paid high-quality download [8].
- Visme: a PDF "with bleed marks", 11 by 8.5 inches by default, on a paid plan [9].
Four take the middle mark for a PDF or image with no print size named, Sertifier, CraftMyPDF, Bannerbear and Certify'em, and both named lines do too [6][7][11][12][13][14]. SimpleCert documents downloading and printing but never names the file type [10]. If your printer takes A4, change the size of any 8.5 by 11 inch template before adding names, and check the margins.
Verification and sending: when someone else has to trust the certificate
Five of the twelve take full marks for a verifiable credential and ten for sending without printing, and only the issuing platforms take both.
Verification. Certifier gives every certificate a verification page; Sertifier uses a QR code and a blockchain-backed URL; CraftMyPDF adds unique IDs or QR codes; SimpleCert sells "QR Code Authenticity" on its Advanced plan at $29 a month; Certify'em adds QR codes on Platinum [2][6][7][10][12]. The other seven document none on the pages read.
Sending. Certifier, Canva, Sertifier, SimpleCert and Certify'em document email delivery, and Microsoft suggests sharing "online as a PDF email attachment" [2][3][5][6][10][12]. Adobe Express, PosterMyWall, Visme and Venngage share a link [4][8][9][13]. NOXI shares a view link anyone can open and download from without an account, and you can turn it off at any time [1]. CraftMyPDF, Bannerbear and Certificate Magic are download only.
Employee of the month certificate: what an office needs
An employee of the month certificate is one name, once a month, often shown on a screen before it is printed, so the rules that count are C3, C4 and C6. Five tools take full marks on all three: Certifier, Canva, Adobe Express, Visme and NOXI, and Visme's free plan cannot download. If the award also has to be checked later by someone outside the company, the verification rule leaves Certifier alone among the five.
Certificates in Arabic and other right-to-left languages
Three of the twelve take full marks for right to left: Canva, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and NOXI. Six take the middle mark, and three take zero.
Full marks. Canva's Translate help offers to "Mirror page to match text direction", and its Magic Design page says "Magic Design is currently available in English." [3]. Microsoft documents right-to-left features in Microsoft 365, naming Arabic [5]. NOXI has a full Arabic interface, right-to-left pages with mirrored layouts, Arabic typefaces such as IBM Plex Sans Arabic, and Arabic and English mixed correctly in one sentence [1].
The middle mark. Adobe Express documents Arabic "with right-to-left layout support", and its known-issues page of 23 October 2026 says "RTL language support is partial" [4]. Certifier writes wording in five European languages [2]. CraftMyPDF names Arabic fonts and Bannerbear names Arabic among supported languages, neither with a direction [7][11]. PosterMyWall and Visme list interface languages with no right-to-left one [8][9]. Zero: Sertifier ("Currently, it generates content in English."), SimpleCert and Certify'em [6][10][12].
Take the rule away and the order changes: without right to left, Certifier still leads, Adobe Express and Canva tie on 76.5, and NOXI is sixth on 58.8. Our AI invitation maker ranking applies the same right-to-left reading to cards.
End of year certificates for students: a December checklist
End of year certificates for students fail on names and dates far more often than on design, so check the list before you choose a tool.
- The names come from the register.Copy them from the class list, in both languages if needed, and have a colleague read each spelling once.
- One achievement line per award."Reading Champion" or "Most Improved Writer", the same wording on every certificate of that award.
- The date reads the same in both languages.Write the day, month and year in words or in one agreed format, and keep the Arabic and English dates identical.
- Two signature lines, printed blank.Class teacher and principal, signed by hand after printing.
- The paper size matches the printer.A4 or 8.5 by 11 inches, landscape, chosen before the names go in.
- One test print.Print a single certificate on plain paper and check margins and the longest name before printing the class.
- The assembly screen is ready.Open the file on the hall screen the day before.
For teachers building the rest of the term's material, our guide to AI presentation tools for teachers covers lessons and assemblies.
What changed recently
Four vendor pages behind the cells above carry a date between 30 September and 29 October 2026, and two of them set Adobe Express's cells.
| Vendor | What moved | Date on their page | When we read it (UTC) |
|---|---|---|---|
| PosterMyWall | FAQ: free standard downloads "free and watermark-free" within a monthly limit | 29 October 2026 | 5 November, 15:55 |
| Adobe Express | Known issues: a mixed right-to-left text issue marked Resolved; "RTL language support is partial" | 23 October 2026 | 5 November, 15:41 |
| Certifier | Changelog: Pathways directory visibility control; Docebo integration and email automations | 16 and 13 October 2026 | 5 November, 16:00 |
| Adobe Express | Bulk create help: "up to 249 variations" of a design from a CSV | 30 September 2026 | 5 November, 15:42 |
What these rules don't measure
Seven rules cannot judge a certificate on the wall, and what they leave out is often where the issuing platforms and design tools are strongest.
- Design taste and print finish. How a certificate looks is the first thing a reader judges, and no rule scores it. Adobe Express's PDF Print with crop marks and bleed, and Visme's bleed marks, help a print shop and are not scored either.
- Integrations and automation. Certifier's changelog lists a Docebo integration and email automations, and Bannerbear batches from Airtable.
- Credential standards. Whether a credential follows a shared standard such as Open Badges, and how long a verification page stays online, are outside these rules.
- Paper and print quality. Card weight, finishes and colour accuracy depend on the printer, not the tool.
Not measured for anyone: email deliverability, the privacy of recipient data, accessibility of the certificate file, and price per certificate at scale.
What would change this ranking
Three changes on three named pages would move the order, and each has a re-check date.
- 1. Microsoft says its certificates carry no watermark. If powerpoint.cloud.microsoft/create/en/certificate-maker/ states it (it states no cap today), C1 moves to 20 and Microsoft scores 83, first on C1 ahead of Certifier. NOXI stays fifth. Re-check 1 December 2026.
- 2. Adobe drops "RTL language support is partial". If that line leaves the Adobe Express known-issues page on helpx.adobe.com, C7 moves to 15 and Adobe Express reaches 80, level with Canva and second on the name. Re-check 1 December 2026.
- 3. Sertifier documents Arabic or Hebrew right to left. If sertifier.com/ai-certificate-maker, English only today, documents it, C7 moves to 15, Sertifier scores 76 and is third, and NOXI would be sixth. Re-check 1 December 2026, with canva.com/magic-design/: if Canva stops naming certificates there, Canva falls to 73 and third.
Worked example: 28 reading champions in two languages
Example Farah Haddad, a fictional Grade 4 teacher at a school in Sharjah, needs 28 "Reading Champion" certificates in Arabic and English for an assembly on Thursday 10 December 2026, printed on the school's A4 printer. Her school pays for no design tool, and the staff laptops run Word on the web. The table turns her choice into counting.
Step one, the list. Eight rows take full marks on C2, and two of them also on C7: Canva and Microsoft. Word's mail merge is documented for the desktop app, which her school does not have. Canva Education, free for verified K-12 teachers, includes Bulk Create: the one free merge with full right to left. Certifier and CraftMyPDF also merge for free, but neither documents right to left.
Step two, the certificate. She needs full marks on C3, C4 and C7 for one bilingual A4 page from one sentence. Two rows have all three: Canva and NOXI. Canva's Magic Design page says it is currently available in English, so in Canva she would lay out the Arabic half herself; in NOXI one request in both languages makes the whole page. She picks NOXI for the certificate.
Step three, the 28 names. NOXI makes one certificate per request. She makes it once with a clear name line, then asks in the chat for each name and exports a PDF, 28 times. That is one document of her five for the month, plus 28 changes, and every change after a document is made is free. A verified Canva Education account would fill the same list from a sheet in one pass.
Step four, the assembly. She presents the certificate full screen with the Editorial motion style before the names are read out, then hands out the 28 printed copies. Three rules decided her choice; the headline total decided none of it.
Build it: a certificate in NOXI 2.0, then on the assembly screen
Six steps take you from Home to a landscape A4 PDF, each name changed by asking, then the certificate full screen with the Editorial motion style. The format is Certificate, behind More on the Home row.
A landscape A4 certificate of achievement for our Grade 4 reading champions, [school name], [date] and two signature lines for [the class teacher] and [the principal], in Arabic and English, Arabic first and right to left. Leave one clear line for the student's name.
Put [the student's name in Arabic] and [the same name in English] on the name line. Change only the name and keep everything else exactly as it is.
Make the achievement line larger in both languages, keep the two signature lines at the same height, and leave the colours and the layout as they are.
Step 1. Open the Certificate tile
Open noxi.ai, sign in or create a free account, with no credit card needed, and on Home open More and choose Certificate.
Step 2. Describe the certificate in one request
Paste Prompt 1 with your own details. The format is a starting point and a clear request wins, so say which language leads. Press Create.
Step 3. Let NOXI plan, design and check the page
NOXI sketches the page, picks a style from its design library of more than ninety styles, writes it, then checks the rendered page for cut-off text, overlaps and tiny labels.
Step 4. Change the name by asking
Send Prompt 2 in the chat for each student. NOXI changes only what you asked for, or you can click the name line and type. Every change after the certificate is made is free.
Step 5. Export the PDF
Check A4 and landscape in the Design panel, then export a PDF after each name. The file is compared with the page before the download appears.
Step 6. Present it full screen with Editorial
At the assembly, press Present and choose the Editorial motion style, crisp and calm. To let parents see it later, turn on a view link anyone can open without an account, and turn it off afterwards.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the best certificate maker?
- On seven printed rules checked on 5 November 2026, Certifier scores highest with 83 of 100, then Canva 80, Adobe Express 73, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint 73, and NOXI 65, of twelve tools. Certifier leads because it documents a certificate from a prompt, names from a spreadsheet, a verification page and email delivery together.
- Is there a certificate maker online that is free and printable?
- Yes, several, each with a catch, checked on 5 November 2026. Certifier's free generator says no watermarks, and its free plan issues 250 a year; NOXI's PDF carries no watermark, and its free plan covers five documents a month; Microsoft's certificate maker downloads PDFs free but never mentions watermarks. Visme and Venngage put downloads on paid plans.
- What is the best AI certificate generator?
- Five of twelve take full marks for a certificate designed from a prompt on 5 November 2026: Certifier, Canva, Adobe Express, Visme and NOXI. Certifier scores highest overall at 83. Microsoft's Copilot drafts the wording inside a template, and Sertifier's AI writes the text while you design the certificate, so both score half.
- How do I make certificates for many names at once?
- Use a tool with a spreadsheet route: eight of twelve document one on 5 November 2026. Certifier takes CSV or Excel lists, Canva Bulk Create takes up to 300 rows on Pro or the free Canva Education, Adobe Express makes up to 249 variations from a CSV, and Word mail merge pulls names from Excel in the desktop app.
- Which free certificate makers have no watermark?
- Certifier's free generator and NOXI's downloads are watermark-free in writing, and PosterMyWall's standard downloads are watermark-free within a monthly limit, all checked on 5 November 2026. Each states a cap: 250 a year, five documents a month, a monthly limit. Canva watermarks premium elements, and Certify'em adds a free-plan label.
- Which certificate maker adds a verification page or QR code?
- Five of twelve document one on 5 November 2026. Certifier gives every certificate a verification page, Sertifier uses a QR code and blockchain-backed URL, CraftMyPDF adds unique IDs or QR codes, SimpleCert sells QR authenticity on its $29 Advanced plan, and Certify'em adds QR codes on Platinum.
- What size is a certificate, A4 or Letter?
- Both are common, in landscape. On 5 November 2026 Canva, Adobe Express and Microsoft named 8.5 by 11 inches for their certificate templates, Certifier offered A4 and US Letter, and NOXI's Certificate format starts as a landscape A4 sheet, with Letter in its Design panel. Set the size before adding names.
- How do I make end of year certificates for students?
- Take the names from the class register, agree one achievement line per award, keep dates identical in both languages, and print one test copy first. For a class from a spreadsheet, Certifier, Canva Pro or Canva Education, or Word mail merge fit; for one bilingual certificate from one sentence, NOXI does, as checked on 5 November 2026.
- What is the quickest way to make an employee of the month certificate?
- Describe it in one sentence to a tool that designs certificates from a prompt. On 5 November 2026 five of twelve did: Certifier, Canva, Adobe Express, Visme and NOXI. Then change the name each month by hand or by asking. If outsiders must check the award, Certifier adds a verification page.
- Can I make a certificate in Arabic?
- Yes. Three of twelve document right to left in full on 5 November 2026: Canva, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and NOXI. NOXI sets pages right to left with Arabic typefaces and mixes Arabic and English correctly in one sentence. Adobe calls its right-to-left support partial, and Sertifier's AI generates English only.

Prices appear only in the currency the page printed, unconverted. Certifier's prices are left out because its pricing page gives two figures for the same plan.
