Disclosure: NOXI publishes this page and is one of the twelve tools scored. That's why the rules, the weights and the source of every cell are printed, along with the rules where other tools finish ahead of NOXI.
Best AI social media post generator, scored on seven printed rules on 5 November 2026: Canva leads with 93 of 100, PostNitro and Simplified share 86, and Ocoya and Predis.ai share 78. NOXI is eighth of twelve on 56, level with Taplio. Canva alone takes full marks on a designed post, scheduling and right to left.
A social post generator gets asked to do two jobs: make the post, meaning a layout, the words on it and a caption, and get it out, meaning schedule and publish it. Page one for this search today mixes vendors' own pages, a forum thread and editorial lists, and the most recent editorial list scores management tools rather than the post itself. This page scores twelve tools on both jobs with the same seven rules, with the free-plan catch each vendor states.
Black Friday falls on 27 November 2026, so offer posts need making now. Canva is first because it alone takes full marks on making the post, publishing it and right-to-left text, with scheduling on Pro. PostNitro and Simplified are seven points behind, on right to left alone. For discounts on the tools themselves, our Black Friday AI deals page tracks the offers.
Where NOXI sits, plainly. NOXI is eighth of twelve on 56, level with Taplio, which is listed first on the opening rule of the tie chain. NOXI designs square posts and carousels from one request and hands them to you as a PDF, which you post yourself or through a scheduler you already use. LinkedIn takes a PDF as a document post; Instagram takes images or video. NOXI takes full marks on two rules: carousels (S2) and right to left (S7). If its five-documents-a-month cap were not counted on the free-export rule, NOXI would be seventh on 63. Without the right-to-left rule it would be eleventh.
Best AI social media post generator: the twelve at a glance
On seven documented rules checked on 5 November 2026, Canva scores 93 of 100, PostNitro and Simplified 86, and 45 points separate first from twelfth.

Two named lines sit outside the twelve because neither designs a post: SocialBee and Later each score 25, for AI captions and direct publishing, with a trial or paid AI on the pages we read [13][14].
Where other tools finish ahead of NOXI. Canva is 37 points ahead: 10 for a finished post with its caption, 15 for scheduling, 5 for a saved brand kit and 7 for network sizes. NOXI's other cells, as facts: S1 is 10, a designed post from one request, with the caption written where you post it; S3 is 0, because NOXI hands you the finished PDF and the posting happens on the network or in a scheduler; S4 is 8, no watermark and a PDF that works as a LinkedIn document post, on a free plan of five documents a month, and the rule's middle line names a cap; S5 is 5, your accent colour, logo and fonts set per document in Design; S6 is 8, square by default with custom sizes in the Design panel, the rule's middle line [8].

Who should pick what
Six needs point to six tools, and five of them are not ours.
- If you want the post designed, captioned and scheduled in one tool then Canva, whose Magic Design page says it "crafts professional social posts" from a description, and whose help says "Scheduling posts is available to Canva Pro" [1].
- If carousels are your main format, on several networks then PostNitro: "Pick how many slides and PostNitro writes and designs them", and it publishes natively to six networks on Creator+ [2].
- If you want caption, hashtags and the visual from one prompt, then queued for you then Ocoya or Predis.ai. Both trials take a card: seven days on Ocoya, three on Predis.ai [4][5].
- If you only need free scheduling then Buffer, whose free plan connects up to three channels with "10 scheduled posts per channel" [11].
- If your team already works in Adobe then Adobe Express, with a Content Scheduler to "Plan, publish, and schedule direct to social channels", one account per network on Free [6].
- If you need a LinkedIn carousel in Arabic and English from one request, with no watermark then NOXI, which sets Arabic pages right to left and exports a PDF that LinkedIn takes as a document post; you upload it yourself [8].

Key numbers
Making the post and publishing it: two jobs, scored apart
Seven of the twelve take full marks both for a designed post from one request and for publishing to two or more networks; Taplio designs and publishes to LinkedIn alone, Buffer and Hootsuite publish without designing, and NOXI and Piktochart design without publishing.
Both jobs at full marks. Canva, PostNitro, Simplified, Ocoya, Predis.ai, Adobe Express and Marky. Ocoya promises "Caption + visual + hashtags in one pass" [4], and Predis.ai "writes the caption and hashtags, then builds the image, carousel or video" [5]. Adobe Express pairs a Caption Writer, "AI-generated social captions tailored to your design", with its Content Scheduler [6], and Marky "also makes the posts, images, and carousels for you" for seven networks [9].
Design, then publish somewhere narrower or not at all. Taplio "writes the slides, designs them, and hands you a swipeable post", and its scheduling is LinkedIn only: "Export a ready-to-post PDF or schedule it directly" [7]. Piktochart "turns your input into an editable social media post draft", then you share or download it [10]. NOXI 2.0 makes 14 formats from one request, social post among them. The NOXI 2.0 launch article describes the Social post format as a square post, or a carousel when there is more than one idea [8].
Publish, with AI for the words. Buffer's AI assistant can "generate text based on your prompt" [11], and Hootsuite lets you "Instantly generate images, captions, and post ideas with AI" [12]. Neither documents a finished layout, so both take the middle mark on S1 and full marks on S3, as do SocialBee and Later [13][14].

How we scored: seven rules, 100 points, printed in full
Seven rules worth 100 points decide every number here; making the post carries 70 of them and getting it out carries 30.
| Code | Rule (points) | What each level needs, identical for every tool |
|---|---|---|
| S1 | A finished post from one request (20) | 20 = AI returns a designed post (layout plus caption) from a prompt or a link · 10 = AI for the caption only or the image only · 0 = templates only |
| S2 | Carousels (10) | 10 = multi-slide carousel generation documented · 0 = not documented |
| S3 | Schedule and publish (15) | 15 = scheduling and direct publishing to two or more networks · 8 = one network, or export to a scheduler · 0 = none |
| S4 | Free plan exports without a watermark (15) | 15 = free plan downloads or publishes with no watermark · 8 = watermark, a cap on posts, or premium items locked · 0 = paid or trial only |
| S5 | Your brand applied (10) | 10 = saved brand kit applied to new posts · 5 = logo, colours or fonts per design · 0 = not documented |
| S6 | Sizes for each network (15) | 15 = one-click resize or presets for three or more networks · 8 = custom sizes only · 0 = fixed |
| S7 | Right to left (15) | 15 = Arabic or Hebrew right-to-left documented · 8 = several languages, none right to left · 0 = not documented |
Four readings that settle the close cells
- S4 wants a file you can post as it comes. The free download must be postable as served on at least one major network; a PDF counts only where a network accepts PDF document posts, which means LinkedIn. Canva, Adobe Express, Piktochart and Simplified download images, Buffer and PostNitro publish, and Taplio's free tool and NOXI hand you a PDF.
- S4 counts a cap or paid AI like a watermark. PostNitro, Taplio, Buffer, Piktochart and NOXI state a watermark or a cap; Canva and Adobe Express lock premium items; Simplified's free tier covers "All non-AI features", so its AI post generator is paid as you use it. Each takes 8, and no row takes 15.
- S5 wants a saved kit. A brand kit applied to new posts is full marks; a logo, colours or fonts set inside one design is the middle mark.
- S7 wants a direction, not only a language. Naming Arabic, or several languages, without a right-to-left layout is the middle mark. A translated marketing site is not product documentation.
The chain decides four ties. PostNitro and Simplified are level at 86 on every rule, and the name puts PostNitro first. Ocoya and Predis.ai are identical at 78, ordered by name. Taplio and NOXI both score 56, and S1 lists Taplio first, 20 against 10. Buffer and Hootsuite both score 48, level on S1, and S4 lists Buffer first, 8 against 0. NOXI's cells rest on the NOXI 2.0 launch article and NOXI's own product record, and where that record states nothing, NOXI takes the low mark.
Every cell, and why each half mark is half
Canva's 93 is 20 plus 10 plus 15 plus 8 plus 10 plus 15 plus 15, every row adds the same way, and every cell that is neither full nor zero carries its reason.
| # | Tool | S1 Post (20) | S2 Carousel (10) | S3 Publish (15) | S4 Free (15) | S5 Brand (10) | S6 Sizes (15) | S7 RTL (15) | Total |

The gaps between the rows you will actually compare
- Canva 93 minus PostNitro and Simplified 86 = 7, and it is S7 alone. Canva documents a mirror for right-to-left languages; PostNitro names languages and Simplified writes Arabic, without a direction.
- PostNitro and Simplified 86 minus Ocoya and Predis.ai 78 = 8, and it is S4: a free tier against a card trial.
- Ocoya and Predis.ai 78 minus Adobe Express 76 = 2, made of S2 plus 10 for the pair, against S4 plus 8 for Adobe Express, which has a free plan but makes carousels by adding pages by hand.
- Taplio 56 and NOXI 56, level by different routes. Taplio is ahead by 10 on S1, 8 on S3 and 5 on S5; NOXI is ahead by 15 on S7 and 8 on S6.
- NOXI 56 minus Marky 55 = 1. NOXI is ahead on S7, S4 and S6; Marky on S3, S1 and S5.
For Canva against Microsoft's own design app on posts and posters, our Canva vs Microsoft Designer comparison scores the two head to head.
Sensitivity readings, including the ones that move NOXI
The cap and paid-AI readings. Count NOXI's five documents a month as no cap, and NOXI scores 63, seventh. Count Simplified's pay-as-you-go AI as no lock, and Simplified scores 93, first on S4 ahead of Canva.
Without S7, the right-to-left rule, rescaled to 100: Canva 91.8, PostNitro 91.8, Simplified 91.8, Ocoya 82.4, Predis.ai 82.4, Adobe Express 80.0, Taplio 65.9, Marky 64.7, Piktochart 62.4, Buffer 56.5, NOXI 48.2, eleventh, Hootsuite 47.1. Canva stays first, on the name.
Equal weights. Each cell as a share of its maximum, averaged: Canva 93.3, PostNitro 86.7, Simplified 86.7, Ocoya and Predis.ai 79.0, Adobe Express 72.4, NOXI and Taplio 58.1, Piktochart 57.6, Marky 57.1, Buffer 43.3, Hootsuite 43.3. The top six do not move.
Single cells. NOXI's S1 at 20, counting a designed post without a stated caption, gives 66, seventh. Adobe Express's right to left at full gives 83, fourth. Adobe Express documenting AI carousels gives 86, second on the name. Canva's S2 at 0 gives Canva 83, third, with PostNitro first. Hootsuite's S1 at 20 gives 58, seventh, and NOXI ninth. Piktochart's S5 at 5 gives 48, eleventh.

AI social media post generator, free: watermarks, caps and trials
No free plan of the twelve takes full marks on S4: eight take the middle mark for a watermark, a cap, locked premium items or paid AI, and four start with a trial. Prices are in the currency each page showed on 5 November 2026, and nothing is converted.
- Canva. "Premium elements will have watermarks on your design if you're a Canva Free user." The pricing page served our browser in the UAE in dirhams: Free 0, Pro 440 a year for one person, Business 700 per person a year. Scheduling, the Brand Kit and one-click resize are marked Pro [1]. Our page on whether Canva is free covers the rest of the free plan.
- PostNitro. "Exports carry a watermark, and the Free plan cannot schedule posts". Starter is $15 a month, Creator+ $30 and Team+ $60; Black Friday prices of $24.99 and $49.98 on Creator+ and Team+ end on 30 November, its page says [2].
- Simplified. A free Pay As You Go tier, "Free to start", "No subscription required", covering "All non-AI features, free"; AI features are "billed as you use them". Its carousel page offers PNG or PDF export. Its plan cards put "One Click Social Scheduling" on Pro, while its FAQ says every plan includes the scheduling tools [3].
- Ocoya. "7 days free, card required." Plans showed $29, $79 and $199 a month, marked 30% off, "+ VAT where applicable" [4].
- Predis.ai. Every plan starts with three days free, and "We take a card to start the trial" [5].
- Adobe Express. Free is "AED0.00" with "limited assets", and Premium showed "AED38.85/mo". The pricing page says nothing either way about watermarks. The Content Scheduler is on Free, one account per network [6].
- Taplio. Its free carousel tool watermarks: "The watermark can only be removed if you are an active subscriber". Starter is $39 a month [7].
- NOXI. Free to start: the free plan covers five documents a month, and every change after that, by chat or by hand, is free. Downloads carry no watermark, on the free plan too, no credit card is needed to start, and new accounts get a welcome gift to use in their first 14 days. Creating needs a free account [8].
- Marky. "Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. We ask for a card to start it." Solo is $39 a month, or $19 a month billed annually [9].
- Piktochart. Free gives "2 PNG downloads" and "Only Free Templates"; Pro is $10 per member a month, billed annually [10].
- Buffer. Free connects up to three channels with "10 scheduled posts per channel", a queue the page says you can refill anytime; Essentials is $5 a month per channel, or $60 billed yearly [11].
- Hootsuite. "You can try any Hootsuite plan free for 14 days." Its plan cards served no readable prices, so we print none [12].

Trials that take a card
Ocoya, Predis.ai and Marky ask for a card before their seven, three and fourteen days start [4][5][9]. Hootsuite and SocialBee offer 14-day trials, and Later's AI runs on paid plans [12][13][14]. The same cap reading applies on our certificate maker ranking.
AI carousel maker: LinkedIn and Instagram slides
Nine of the twelve document generating a multi-slide carousel; Adobe Express, Buffer and Hootsuite are the three that do not.
Canva's Design School tells you to "enter a short description of the carousel you'd like to create" [1]. PostNitro calls itself "The AI carousel maker that designs and schedules your posts", with "Multi-slide decks in 4:5, 1:1 or 16:9" [2]. Simplified "drafts engaging, editable slides for you" and schedules them to LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok [3]. Predis.ai's carousel maker "lays out every slide" [5], Taplio generates carousels "from an idea, a video, or a web page" [7], and Piktochart drafts "carousel posts from a short prompt" [10]. Ocoya and Marky list carousels among what they generate [4][9], and NOXI's Social post format becomes a carousel when there is more than one idea [8].
Adobe Express makes carousels with "the multiple page feature. Add or duplicate pages", which is building them by hand, so its S2 is 0 [6]. Hootsuite will "schedule Instagram carousel posts" you made elsewhere, and Buffer documents no carousel [11][12].
One carousel, two file types
The file decides where a carousel can go. PostNitro, Taplio and NOXI hand you the PDF that LinkedIn takes [2][7][8], so NOXI's carousel belongs on LinkedIn; a campaign that also needs Instagram makes its images in a tool that downloads or publishes images.
Best AI for Instagram posts: design, caption, schedule
For Instagram, six of the twelve take full marks on a designed post and name Instagram among the networks they publish to: Canva, PostNitro, Simplified, Ocoya, Predis.ai and Marky.
Design and caption. Canva's carousel route returns "a first draft of your layout, visuals, or captions" [1]. Predis.ai and Ocoya write caption and hashtags with the visual [5][4]. Adobe Express's Caption Writer captions a design you have, and its Instagram page builds carousels page by page [6]. Later writes captions on paid plans [14].
Size. Canva's one-click resize is a Pro feature [1]. Predis.ai "sizes the post for each network" [5], Ocoya "starts the canvas at the size the network wants" with "no automatic resize" [4], and Hootsuite has "templates optimized for Instagram feed posts and Stories" [12].
Schedule. Canva schedules "single video or image posts" to Instagram Business on Pro, not galleries, and its help says "everyone can share designs on Instagram from the Canva editor" [1]. PostNitro publishes to Instagram on Creator+ [2], and Predis.ai, Ocoya and Marky list Instagram in their publishing networks [5][4][9]. Later's "Auto Publish works for Instagram (business + creator accounts), Facebook, TikTok" [14], and Buffer's AI assistant page names Instagram among its networks, with up to three channels on the free plan [11].
On these rules, for Instagram, Canva leads, and PostNitro is the pick if carousels are most of what you post. Instagram takes images or video, so every tool in this section hands you an image or publishes one for you.
AI LinkedIn post generator: Taplio, PostNitro and a PDF document post
On LinkedIn the carousel is a PDF document post, and three tools on this page are built around that file: Taplio, PostNitro and NOXI.
Taplio is the LinkedIn specialist. It "writes the slides, designs them, and hands you a swipeable post", keeps your colours and fonts, and schedules to LinkedIn. Its sizes are LinkedIn's own, "1080x1080 pixels (square format) or 1080x1350 pixels", so S6 is 0, and the free tool's PDF carries a watermark until you subscribe [7].
PostNitro exports the single PDF that "is what LinkedIn carousels use" and publishes to LinkedIn and five more networks on Creator+ [2]. Canva schedules to LinkedIn on Pro, and Buffer's AI assistant names LinkedIn among its networks [1][11].
NOXI designs a square carousel from one request, in English, in Arabic right to left, or both, and exports a PDF with no watermark [8]. You upload it to LinkedIn yourself as a document post and write the caption there. It can also build from a file you attach, such as a product sheet, as the build-it section shows.
AI social posts in Arabic: who documents right to left
Two of the twelve document Arabic right to left in full, Canva and NOXI; six take the middle mark, for partial support or for naming languages without a direction, and four state no product language on the pages we read.
Canva documents an option to "Mirror page to match text direction to support right-to-left languages" [1]. NOXI has a full Arabic interface, right-to-left pages with mirrored layouts, Arabic typefaces such as IBM Plex Sans Arabic, Arabic and English mixed correctly in one sentence, and Arabic styles in its design library [8].
The middle marks. Adobe documents Express "available in Arabic with right-to-left layout support across desktop" in its what's new page of 5 October 2026, and its known-issues page of 23 October 2026 says "RTL language support is partial". That entry is labelled Resolved but still carries the partial line and a workaround, so Adobe Express takes half [6]. Simplified lets you "Write in Arabic with the AI Writer", with no direction stated [3]. Hootsuite lists Arabic among its display languages, in a help article updated 26 October 2026, and says nothing about direction [12]. PostNitro names "English, French, Spanish, Dutch and 15+ other tongues" [2], Ocoya can "Translate in place into other languages" [4], and Predis.ai names several languages without Arabic [5].
No language stated. Taplio, Marky and Buffer state none on the pages we read, and Piktochart's Arabic pricing page is marketing, not product documentation [7][9][11][10].
If you write your posts in Arabic first, we also publish a ranking of AI tools for designing social posts in Arabic, written in Arabic for the searches Arabic speakers type.
What changed recently
Five entries on the pages behind the cells above carry dates from 19 October to 4 December 2026, and two of them are Black Friday offers with an end date.
| Vendor | What moved | Date on their page | When we read it (UTC) |
|---|---|---|---|
| PostNitro | AI-from-topic docs updated; Black Friday prices on Creator+ and Team+ | Docs updated 30 October 2026; offer ends 30 November | 5 November, 15:56 |
| Hootsuite | Display languages now include Arabic and Japanese | 26 October 2026 | 5 November, 15:59 |
| Hootsuite | Q3 product roundup ("Social OS", Wisdom) | 19 October 2026 | 5 November, 16:00 |
| Later | Black Friday code LATERBF26 on annual Growth or Scale plans, new customers only | Expires 4 December 2026 | 5 November, 15:57 |
| Adobe Express | Known issues: "RTL language support is partial", entry marked Resolved with a workaround | 23 October 2026 | 5 November, 15:41 |
What these rules don't measure
Seven rules cannot cover a whole social calendar, and most of what they leave out is where the management tools are strongest.
- Results. Hootsuite's plans page sells the ability to "post or schedule to and analyze the performance of multiple accounts" [12]; no rule here scores analytics.
- Video. Predis.ai and Ocoya also generate video [5][4]. Only posts and carousels are scored.
- Caption quality and brand voice. Later writes "in your brand's voice" and Ocoya applies "Fonts, colors and voice" to every post [14][4]. Whether a caption is good is not measured.
- Teams, approvals and inboxes. Approval steps, comment replies and ad publishing sit outside these rules.
Not measured for anyone: image quality, accessibility of the finished post, privacy of connected accounts, and price per channel at scale. For one printed sheet, our poster maker ranking uses its own rules, and for flyers laid out on a desktop, our Microsoft Publisher alternatives ranking scores the layout tools.
What would change this ranking
Three changes on three named pages would move the order, and each has a re-check date.
- 1. Canva drops the watermark on premium elements for Free users. Today canva.com/help/watermarks-design/ says "Premium elements will have watermarks on your design if you're a Canva Free user." If that line goes, S4 moves from 8 to 15 and Canva scores 100, first by fourteen points. Re-check 1 December 2026.
- 2. Simplified puts its AI post generator in the free tier. Today simplified.com/pricing covers "All non-AI features, free". If AI generation joins the free tier with no watermark, S4 moves to 15, Simplified scores 93 and is first on S4, ahead of Canva. Re-check 1 December 2026.
- 3. Adobe Express documents AI carousel generation. Today its Instagram post page builds carousels by adding pages. If adobe.com/express/create/post/instagram or its what's new page documents generating a carousel, S2 moves to 10 and Adobe Express scores 86, second on the name. Re-check 13 November 2026, after Adobe MAX.
Worked example: a bilingual LinkedIn carousel for a Black Friday offer
Example Layla Haddad, a fictional marketing lead at a Dubai office-furniture supplier, needs a five-slide LinkedIn carousel for a trade offer that runs from Monday 23 November to Black Friday, 27 November 2026, once in English and once in Arabic. She also wants one square post on Instagram. She has a two-page product sheet with the three desks on offer and their prices.
Step one, the carousel in two languages. She needs full marks on S2 and S7. Two rows have both: Canva and NOXI. Either would do. She has the facts in a product sheet already, and NOXI builds from an attached file, so the carousel starts there.
Step two, the file for LinkedIn. On the S4 reading, a PDF works as a LinkedIn document post. NOXI's carousel leaves as a PDF with no watermark: five slides in English and five in Arabic, ten pages in two files. The English carousel is one of the five documents her free plan covers in November; the Arabic copy is a change by chat, and every change after a document is made is free.
Step three, the Instagram square. Instagram takes images, so of the two rows from step one this goes to Canva. On Canva Free she can download the square, where only premium elements carry a watermark, or share it to Instagram from the editor; scheduling it from Canva needs Pro. Adobe Express would design and queue it on Free, one account per network.
Step four, the posting plan. The English carousel goes up on Monday 23 November at 9:00 and the Arabic one at 13:00, uploaded by hand as document posts with captions written in LinkedIn. Three rules decided her tools: S2, S7 and the file reading inside S4. The headline total decided none of it.
Build it in NOXI 2.0: a LinkedIn carousel from a product sheet, then an Arabic copy
Six steps take you from Home to two PDFs, English and Arabic, ready to upload to LinkedIn as document posts. The format is Social post, in the row of six formats under the box on Home.
A five-slide square carousel for LinkedIn from the attached product sheet: our [year-end trade offer] on [three desk models], valid from [23 to 27 November 2026]. Slide 1 the offer in one line, slides 2 to 4 one product each with its price from the sheet, slide 5 how to order. Use only the facts in the sheet. Calm and clear.
Now make the same carousel in Arabic, right to left. Keep the prices, the product names in Latin letters and the order of the slides exactly as they are.
On slide 3, make the price the largest line and cut the description to two lines. Change nothing else.
Step 1. Open the Social post tile
Open noxi.ai, sign in or create a free account, with no credit card needed, and on Home choose Social post in the row of formats under the box.
Step 2. Attach the product sheet and describe the carousel
Attach your product sheet and paste Prompt 1 with your own details. The format is a starting point and a clear request wins, so say "carousel" and the number of slides. Press Create.
Step 3. Let NOXI plan, design and check the slides
NOXI sketches every slide, picks a style from its design library of more than ninety styles and writes from your sheet. It then reads the carousel through, fixes what does not agree, such as a price that differs between two slides, and checks the pages for cut-off text, overlaps and tiny labels.
Step 4. Fix one slide, then export the English PDF
Send Prompt 3 in the chat, or select the slide and edit it directly; NOXI changes only what you asked. Then export a PDF. The file is compared with the pages before the download appears, and it carries no watermark.
Step 5. Ask for the Arabic copy in the chat
Send Prompt 2. NOXI sets the Arabic slides right to left with mirrored layouts and mixes Arabic and English correctly in one sentence, so a product name in Latin letters can sit inside an Arabic line. The English carousel stays in version history, one click away. Export the second PDF.
Step 6. Upload each PDF to LinkedIn as a document post
On LinkedIn, add each PDF to a post as a document, write the caption there and publish it. For Instagram, which takes images, use one of the tools in the Instagram section above.
It is free to start: the free plan covers five documents a month, and every change after that, by chat or by hand, is free.
