Disclosure: NOXI publishes this page and is one of the eleven tools scored. That's why the rules, the weights and the source of every cell are printed, along with the rules where other tools finish ahead of NOXI.
Best AI poster maker, scored on seven printed rules on 4 November 2026: Canva leads with 90 of 100, then Adobe Express 85, PosterMyWall 83 and Venngage 80. NOXI is fifth on 68, level with Visme and Picsart and listed ahead of both on the printed tie-break. Microsoft Designer is last of eleven on 48.
A poster is two things at once: a file a printer can use, and a sheet you are allowed to put in a shop window. Most roundups score the picture and stop. The trouble starts afterwards, when a watermark, a download wall or a licence line appears.
So the seven rules below ask what happens after the design is done: does the free plan export, is there a PDF with bleed, may you use it for business, can the words run right to left? Eleven makers are scored, four finish ahead of NOXI, and four vendors' marketing pages say something their own help pages contradict.
Best AI poster maker: the eleven at a glance
On seven documented rules checked on 4 November 2026, Canva scores 90 of 100, Adobe Express 85 and PosterMyWall 83, and forty two points separate first from last.
| # | Tool | Score of 100 | Why it scores there | Source, read on 4 November 2026 (UTC) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Canva | 90 | Prompt to poster, PDF Print with bleed, AI output for any lawful use, right-to-left mirroring | canva.com: Magic Design, download file types, watermarks, AI product terms, translate, pricing, 11:30 to 11:39 |
| 2 | Adobe Express | 85 | Editable AI templates, CMYK PDF with crop marks, commercial use Yes on Free | adobe.com/express pricing and poster pages, helpx.adobe.com, 11:39 to 11:41 |

| 4 | Venngage | 80 | A layout from a prompt, bleed guides, but free users cannot download | venngage.com poster generator and help centre, 11:34 and 11:52 |
| 5 | NOXI | 68 | A3 or A4 poster from one request, right-to-left pages, PDF with no watermark | NOXI 2.0 product record, rows A, E, G, I, M, N and Q, 4 November 2026 |
| 6 | Visme | 68 | Editable AI layouts and print PDF, but Basic cannot download | visme.co AI poster page, terms, pricing and help, 11:34 to 11:35 |

Where other tools finish ahead of NOXI, plainly. NOXI is fifth of eleven on 68. Canva is twenty two points ahead, Adobe Express seventeen, PosterMyWall fifteen and Venngage twelve. NOXI, Visme and Picsart all score 68, and the printed tie-break lists NOXI first: the first rule in the chain, a poster from one prompt, puts Picsart third, and the second, free export, puts NOXI ahead of Visme, 10 to 0. NOXI takes full marks on four of the seven rules: a whole poster from one request with text you can still edit, named poster sizes plus custom sizes, changing one part by asking, and right-to-left pages.
The other three cells, as facts. Print-ready export is 8: a NOXI poster downloads as a PDF, and bleed, crop marks and CMYK are not among the stated options. Free export is 10: no watermark on the free plan, which covers five documents a month, the quota level every capped plan here gets. Commercial use is 0, because NOXI's product record is silent on it and a silent record takes the low mark.

One reference row, not ranked. ChatGPT Images scores 43 on the same rules, with every cell in the full table below. It stays outside the numbered table because two cells rest on the silence of one help article updated a week before we read it, and OpenAI's older image article returns its own 404 page. Ranked, it would be twelfth and move nobody.
Why there is no CapCut row. CapCut's AI poster page documents text to poster, JPG and PNG downloads and commercial use. It names no poster sizes, no watermark rule for free exports and nothing on right-to-left text, so three of the seven rules cannot be scored from its official pages, and it is not ranked.
Who should pick what
Six needs point to six tools, and five of them are not ours.
- If the poster goes to a print shop then Canva, because its help page documents PDF Print at 300 dpi "with bleed, crop marks", and Canva Print can print it for you [2].
- If it is for business and you will not pay then Adobe Express, because its free column marks Commercial Use "Yes" and its FAQ says that in general you may use generative AI outputs commercially [3].
- If you want free downloads without a vendor watermark then PosterMyWall, because its FAQ says "Free downloads are watermark-free", within a monthly limit [4].
- If you will pay for a plan and need crop marks on a print PDF then Visme, because its help centre says "crop marks can be enabled when exporting as a PDF for print", and its terms of 2 November 2026 allow commercial use on Pro and Enterprise [6].
- If it is a birthday poster for the fridge then Microsoft Designer, because its FAQ answers "Yes, Designer is free to use" and licenses it "for personal, non-commercial use" [11].
- If the poster must read right to left, A3 or A4, from one request then NOXI, because its pages run right to left with mirrored layouts and the PDF downloads with no watermark on the free plan [1].
In short
- The leaderCanva, 90 of 100, with full marks on six of seven rules.
- Where NOXI sitsFifth of eleven on 68, ahead of Visme and Picsart on the tie-break, with full marks on four of seven rules.
- The free-export findingNone of the eleven documents a free export with no watermark and no quota, so 0 of 11 score the full 20. Two cannot download at all on Free: Venngage and Visme.
- The business-use findingFive of eleven state commercial use of AI output on the free plan; Microsoft Designer's FAQ excludes it.
- MethodDocumented capability from official pages opened on 4 November 2026. Not a new hands-on test.
Key numbers
How we scored: rubric Q, seven rules, 100 points
Seven rules add up to 100 points, two of them worth 20, and every rule has a printed full mark, a printed middle mark and a zero, applied to NOXI exactly as to the other ten.
| Code | Rule (points) | The rule, identical for every tool |
|---|---|---|
| Q1 | A whole poster from one prompt, with editable text (20) | 20 = documented text-to-design returning a layout whose words stay editable as text · 10 = an image with the words drawn in, or AI that fills a template you pick first · 0 = templates only |
| Q2 | Print-ready export (15) | 15 = PDF with a print option (PDF Print, bleed, crop marks, CMYK, 300 dpi) or a print service · 8 = PDF or high-resolution image without print options · 0 = screen image only |
| Q3 | Poster sizes (10) | 10 = named poster sizes and custom dimensions · 5 = one of those · 0 = fixed size |
| Q4 | Free export without a watermark (20) | 20 = the free plan exports with no watermark and no quota, documented · 10 = free export with a watermark, a quota, or premium items watermarked · 0 = export needs a paid plan |
| Q5 | Change one part by asking (10) | 10 = documented AI edit of one selected element or region · 5 = regenerate the whole design only · 0 = manual only |
| Q6 | Commercial use of AI output stated (15) | 15 = terms or help state commercial use of AI output on the free plan · 8 = commercial use with a condition (paid plan, attribution), or ownership of the output stated without naming commercial use · 0 = neither, or commercial use excluded |
| Q7 | Right to left (10) | 10 = Arabic or another right-to-left script documented in designs · 5 = several languages, none right to left · 0 = not documented |
The half-mark rule, printed. A cell takes the middle mark only when the vendor's page documents what the middle line names, and every middle cell in the full table below says why inside the cell.
The tie-break chain, printed: Q1, then Q4, then Q2, then Q6, then table order, read as alphabetical order of the vendor's name. One three-way tie needed it. NOXI, Visme and Picsart all score 68; Q1 puts Picsart third (10 against 20 and 20), and Q4 settles NOXI against Visme, 10 against 0.
Three readings that settle the close cells
- Q1 asks where the words live: editable text is 20; words drawn into a picture, or AI filling a template you chose, is 10.
- Q4 wants no watermark and no quota: a monthly cap, watermarked premium items, small files or public generations are 10, and no download at all is 0.
- Q6 follows the terms, never a marketing line that the terms or help centre contradict.
Best AI poster generator compared: every cell, with the reason for each half mark
Canva's 90 is 20 plus 15 plus 10 plus 10 plus 10 plus 15 plus 10, and every row is added the same way.
| # | Tool | Q1 One prompt (20) | Q2 Print (15) | Q3 Sizes (10) | Q4 Free export (20) | Q5 Edit a part (10) | Q6 Business use (15) | Q7 Right to left (10) | Total |

The gaps between the rows you will actually compare
Only the first gap comes from a single rule.
- Canva 90 minus Adobe Express 85 = 5, all of it Q7. Canva documents a mirror-page option for right-to-left languages; Adobe's own known-issues page, updated 23 October 2026, still says right-to-left support is partial. Our Canva vs Adobe Express comparison takes the pair further than one rule can.
- PosterMyWall 83 minus Venngage 80 = 3, made of Q4 plus 10 against Q6 minus 7: PosterMyWall's free plan downloads, Venngage's does not.
- Canva 90 minus NOXI 68 = 22, made of Q2 plus 7 (PDF Print with bleed and crop marks) and Q6 plus 15 (Canva's AI terms allow any lawful purpose). Venngage 80 minus NOXI 68 = 12: the same two rules, against Q4 minus 10.
- NOXI and Visme, level on 68: NOXI takes Q4 plus 10 and Q7 plus 5; Visme takes Q2 plus 7 and Q6 plus 8. NOXI minus Microsoft Designer is 20: Q1 plus 10, Q3 plus 5 and Q7 plus 5.
Sensitivity readings: what moves when a weight or a cell moves
Canva stays first in all three re-weighted readings, level with Venngage in one; the leader changes under three single-cell readings; and NOXI moves under both drop-one readings.
- Equal weights, each cell as a fraction of its maximum, averaged: Canva 0.93; Adobe Express, PosterMyWall and Venngage 0.86; NOXI, Picsart and Visme 0.72; Fotor and Kittl 0.65; Ideogram 0.58; Microsoft Designer 0.50. NOXI stays in the three-way tie for fifth.
- Without Q1, one of the two heaviest rules. Canva 70, Adobe Express 65, PosterMyWall 63, Venngage 60, Picsart 58, Kittl 53, Fotor 51, then Ideogram, Visme and NOXI on 48 each, and Microsoft Designer 38. NOXI falls to a three-way tie for eighth.
- Without Q4, the other heaviest rule. Canva 80 and Venngage 80 tie at the top, then Adobe Express 75, PosterMyWall 73 and Visme 68, and NOXI falls to sixth on 58, level with Picsart. Kittl 53, Fotor 51, Ideogram 48 and Microsoft Designer 38 close the list.
- Single cells that change the order. Adobe Express at 10 on Q7 ties Canva on 90 and leads on table order. Any one Canva cell one step lower, such as Q1 at 10 for a reader who takes Canva's word "templates" literally, puts Adobe Express first. PosterMyWall at 20 on Q4 would lead on 93. NOXI at 8 on Q6 would be 76 and still fifth; at 15, 83 and fourth on Q2.
The best AI poster maker free plans, and what they really export
Nine of the eleven free plans export a poster, and two cannot download at all. None of the nine is documented exporting with no watermark and no quota, which is the key number above: 0 of 11 take the full 20 on free export.
| Tool | What the free plan exports | The condition, as the vendor writes it | Q4 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Canva | PDF, JPG and PNG | Premium elements watermarked; limited Magic Design uses; no CMYK export on Free | 10 |
| Adobe Express | JPEG, PNG, PDF, GIF and PPT | Free daily generations; no page says either way whether free exports carry a watermark | 10 |
| PosterMyWall | Standard-quality downloads | "Free downloads are watermark-free" within a monthly limit; Getty images stay watermarked | 10 |
| Venngage | Nothing to download | Free users cannot download designs but can share them via a link | 0 |
| NOXI | The poster as a PDF | No watermark on the free plan; the free plan covers five documents a month | 10 |
| Visme | Nothing to download | Download options are on paid plans | 0 |
| Picsart | The edit, with a watermark if it holds a premium item | A premium item asks for a subscription, or downloads with a watermark | 10 |
| Kittl | PNG or JPG up to 800px at 72 dpi | Free designs are for personal use only | 10 |
| Fotor | Designs made only with free features and assets | Pro items carry a watermark; HD downloads are a Pro benefit | 10 |
| Ideogram | JPEG at original size | Weekly credits for eligible free accounts; on Free, everything you generate is public | 10 |
| Microsoft Designer | An image | Monthly credits; a subscription may be required to create more often | 10 |
Each condition costs a different person, which is why any of them is worth half the rule: the monthly cap hits whoever makes ten posters, the premium watermark whoever used a nice photo, Kittl's 800 pixels anyone printing above postcard size, and Ideogram's public-by-default rule anyone designing a launch they have not announced. For Canva's free plan in full, our page on whether Canva is free goes line by line.
Paid plans, as each page served them on 4 November 2026, to a machine in the UAE. Canva's default page showed Pro at 48 UAE dirhams a month or 440 a year, and with the US country code US$ 18 a month or US$ 144 a year. Adobe Express showed Premium at AED38.85 a month. PosterMyWall showed Premium at $13 a month. Venngage, labelled "Price in $ USD", showed Premium at $10 a month billed yearly or $19 monthly. Visme starts at $12.25 a month for individuals billed annually. Ideogram showed Plus at $20 a month. Fotor showed Pro at US$39.99 billed yearly; its monthly counters showed a placeholder, so none is printed. Microsoft 365 Personal, which raises Designer's credits, is $9.99 a month on the en-us page. NOXI is free to start: the free plan covers five documents a month, every change after that, by chat or by hand, is free, and new accounts get a welcome gift to use in their first 14 days.
A poster maker online, free: watermarks, quotas and print files
Four vendors say one thing on a marketing page and another in their help centre or terms, and on all four the help centre or the terms is the line that decides the cell.
- Venngage. Its AI poster page promises free exports with no limit and high-resolution downloads without paywalls. Its help article, updated 25 October 2026, says "Free users cannot download designs". Q4 is 0.
- Visme. Its AI poster page says you can use the posters for personal and commercial use without any problems. Its terms, last updated 2 November 2026, say "Commercial use is not included in the Basic or Starter Plans." Q6 is 8, the paid-plan level.
- Fotor. Its poster maker page invites you to order prints from Fotor. Its help centre says "Fotor will provide the print service in the future." Q2 is 8.
- PosterMyWall. Its flyer page is titled "Free AI Flyer Generator", while its help centre puts PosterMyWall AI on Premium and Premium Plus, with free credits for select free users. Q1 scores what the AI does, not the plan, so no number moves.

The print side is simpler. Six rows document a real print option and take the full 15 on Q2. Canva's PDF Print runs at 300 dpi with bleed and crop marks, with CMYK on paid plans. Adobe Express's print PDF defaults to CMYK, with crop marks and bleed you switch on. PosterMyWall's PDF Print adds bleed margins. Venngage shows bleed guides, with PDF on Business. Visme adds crop marks to a print PDF. Kittl offers CMYK for PDF and JPEG.

Five rows sit at 8. NOXI's poster downloads as a PDF, with no print options stated. The other four are Picsart (PNG and PDF, bleed only as advice), Fotor (PDF as its highest definition), Ideogram (JPEG, PNG or WEBP) and Microsoft Designer (an image, upscaled up to 4K). A 4K image is about 3,840 pixels on its long side, which at 300 dpi prints roughly 32 cm long, about three quarters of an A3 sheet's 42 cm. That is why the rule wants a print option rather than a large image.
Can you use it for your business? The commercial-use line, vendor by vendor
Five of the eleven state that you may use AI output commercially without a paid condition, four allow it only on a paid plan, and one excludes it in writing.
- Stated, no paid condition (15): Canva, whose AI product terms, effective 26 June 2026, say "You may use your Output for any lawful purpose"; Adobe Express, whose free column marks Commercial Use Yes, beta features excepted; Venngage, whose AI policy uses the same any-lawful-purpose wording; Picsart, whose help centre makes AI images available for commercial purposes; and Ideogram, whose terms say "including for commercial purposes".
- Paid plan only (8): PosterMyWall (Premium or Premium Plus), Visme (not Basic or Starter, since 2 November), Kittl (Free is personal use only) and Fotor (a free account does not cover commercial designs).
- Not stated (0): NOXI, whose product record is silent on commercial use, so this page makes no claim either way.
- Excluded (0): Microsoft Designer, whose FAQ says "Designer is licensed for personal, non-commercial use with your Microsoft account."
Two cautions sit around the full marks: Venngage's free users cannot download, so its business use happens on a paid plan or a shared link, and Ideogram's free generations are public. Microsoft Designer's own pages also disagree about price: its FAQ says "Yes, Designer is free to use", while its Welcome page says you'll need a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family account. This page picks neither, and the FAQ's licence line settles the business question either way. Our Canva vs Microsoft Designer comparison takes the two head to head on these rules and on our invitation rules.
Editable text or words drawn into a picture
Six of the eleven document a layout whose words stay editable as text; five return a picture with the words drawn in, or start from a picture you supply. That split decides the heaviest rule, and it decides how you fix a typo.
Full marks on Q1 go to Canva, Adobe Express, PosterMyWall, Venngage, NOXI and Visme. Canva generates designs from a text prompt, though its own Magic Design page calls the results templates. Adobe Express documents text to template for posters. PosterMyWall added editable layers to its AI designs on 29 October 2026. Venngage and Visme generate the layout and its text from your prompt. NOXI builds the whole poster from one request, and you click any text and type.
The half marks are a different object. Picsart sets the text inside the generated image, Kittl asks you to finish the type yourself, and Fotor starts from a photo you upload. Ideogram is the most candid: text drawn inside a flat image is part of its pixels, and its Layerize text tool rebuilds it as text layers afterwards. Microsoft Designer warns that text in generated images may not be in the requested language.

The test takes ten seconds: click the date on a generated poster. A cursor means text; a brush means every date change from now on is a regeneration. When you want an illustration rather than a poster, our ranking of the best AI image generators scores the models on their own rules.
The best AI flyer maker: the same rules at A5 and Letter
A flyer is a poster at hand size, so the seven rules and the order stay the same at A5 and Letter. Only the size rule needs reading again, and nobody's score changes.
Six of the eleven have a flyer page of their own: PosterMyWall and Venngage each run an AI flyer generator, and Visme, Kittl, Picsart and Fotor each name a flyer maker. Canva's Magic Design and Adobe Express's text to template both name flyers next to posters. Ideogram's documentation mentions text on a flyer, an invitation or a greeting card. In NOXI a flyer is the Poster format set to A5 or Letter in the Design panel, alongside A4, square and custom sizes.
The size rule is where flyers differ. Canva's size table starts at 8.5 × 11 inches, which is US Letter, with custom dimensions on Free. Visme names U.S. Letter and A4. PosterMyWall filters by A4, A3, A2, A1 and Tabloid. Adobe Express names 11 × 17 inches and up, with custom dimensions. Ideogram works in aspect ratios.
One more flyer habit is worth keeping. Design the A3 poster first and make the A5 second, never the other way round, because shrinking keeps the hierarchy and enlarging exposes every weak picture. Q3 scores named sizes and custom dimensions, not how a tool resizes, so check that before you design anything twice.
Posters in Arabic and other right-to-left scripts
Four of the eleven document right-to-left text in designs and take the full 10: Canva, PosterMyWall, Venngage and NOXI. Two score zero.
- Canva documents a mirror-page option that matches text direction for right-to-left languages. It sits inside Translate, which Canva's pricing table marks as not included on Free, and Canva's Magic Design page says Magic Design currently works in English.
- PosterMyWall documents support for non-Latin scripts, with Arabic, Urdu and Hebrew font rows.
- Venngage lists Arabic among its seven interface languages and says limited Arabic fonts sit at the bottom of the font list.
- NOXI makes right-to-left pages with mirrored layouts, Arabic typefaces such as IBM Plex Sans Arabic, and Arabic and English mixed correctly in one sentence, from a full Arabic interface.
Five sit at the middle mark. Adobe Express shipped a right-to-left Arabic interface in August 2026, and its known-issues page, updated 23 October 2026, still calls right-to-left support partial. Visme lists eight languages, none right to left; Picsart serves an Arabic poster page with no statement about designs; Fotor has no Arabic locale; Microsoft Designer names none of its 80-plus languages. Kittl's glyph and font pages mention no right-to-left script, and Ideogram warns that non-Latin scripts can come out wrong or not at all.
For an Arabic poster, test two things before you print: a long word whose letters must stay joined, and a number inside an Arabic sentence. If both come out right in the PDF, the rest usually does.
What changed recently
Five vendor pages behind the cells above carry a date in the last two weeks, and one of them moved a business-use line.
| Vendor | What moved | Date on their page | When we read it (UTC) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visme | Terms now say "Commercial use is not included in the Basic or Starter Plans." | 2 November 2026 | 4 November, 11:35 |
| PosterMyWall | "Design and post from Claude or ChatGPT with your PosterMyWall account"; editable layers in AI designs on 29 October; free downloads without its watermark on 15 October | 2 November 2026 | 4 November, 11:34 |
| Canva | Brush, a design model "for Canva Pro subscribers, with expanded availability coming soon", still Pro only | 29 October 2026 | 4 November, 11:39 |
| Adobe Express | Known-issues page updated, still saying right-to-left support is partial | 23 October 2026 | 4 November, 11:40 |
| Canva | Craft, its image generation model, "available starting today to all Canva users globally" | 22 October 2026 | 4 November, 11:30 |
A note on method: Adobe Express, Visme and Ideogram's pricing page refused automated readers and opened in a signed-out browser instead. We record that, and draw no conclusion about any company.
What these rules don't measure
Seven rules cannot hold a design job, and most of what they leave out is where other tools are strongest.
- Design taste and library depth. Canva's and PosterMyWall's template libraries, stock photos and fonts keep people with them, and no rule counts them.
- Printing for you. Canva Print, Adobe's print service in the US, UK, Australia and Canada, and Kittl's print ordering ship a physical poster.
- Typography inside images. Ideogram's Layerize text and Picsart's re-rendering of translated poster text are real craft, scored here only as half marks.
- Posting and promotion. PosterMyWall posts to social accounts and runs event pages; Microsoft Designer has phone apps on both stores and attaches content credentials.
- Team and brand controls. Brand kits, approval steps and shared libraries sit outside every rule here.
Not measured for anyone: image quality, speed, accessibility, data residency, and whether the print shop in your city accepts the file. Ask them that first.
What would change this ranking
Three things would move it, each tied to a page and a re-check date.
- 1. Adobe MAX, 10 to 12 November 2026, ships full right-to-left support in Adobe Express. If Adobe's known-issues page stops calling right-to-left support partial, Q7 goes from 5 to 10 and Adobe Express ties Canva on 90, leading on table order. Page: helpx.adobe.com, Adobe Express known issues. Re-check 13 November 2026.
- 2. PosterMyWall drops the monthly limit on free downloads. Q4 would go from 10 to 20 and PosterMyWall would lead on 93. Page: postermywall.com FAQ. Re-check 1 December 2026.
- 3. Microsoft lifts Designer's non-commercial line. Q6 would go from 0 to 8 or 15. At 8 Designer reaches 56 and stays last; at 15 it reaches 63, level with Kittl, ninth behind it on Q2 and ahead of Fotor. Page: the Designer FAQ on support.microsoft.com. Re-check 1 December 2026.
Canva Brush reaching the Free plan would change no cell, because Canva's Q5 is already 10. It would change the free-plan section above.
Worked example: one baker, two posters, two answers
Example Tomás Herrera, a fictional Spanish baker with a shop in Dubai, needs two posters in December: an A3 poster and an A5 flyer for his Christmas market stall, which is business use, and an A3 poster in English and Arabic for his building's free book swap, sold to nobody. The table turns both into arithmetic.
Poster one, the stall. Business use without paying means 15 on Q6: Canva, Adobe Express, Venngage, Picsart and Ideogram, five of eleven. A file he can download for free removes Venngage, which leaves four. A print option, 15 on Q2, leaves two: Canva and Adobe Express, and both take custom dimensions for the A5 flyer. If the sign is in English only, Adobe Express covers it on the free plan, with commercial use and PDF export marked Yes in the free column. If he wants an Arabic line under the English, only Canva keeps full marks on Q7 as well, and its mirror option sits in Translate, a paid feature, as does CMYK export.
Poster two, the book swap. Nobody is selling anything, so Q6 does not decide this one. He needs right to left, 10 on Q7: Canva, PosterMyWall, Venngage and NOXI. He needs a free download, more than 0 on Q4, which removes Venngage. One request on a zero budget narrows it again: Canva's mirror is in paid Translate, and PosterMyWall's AI sits on its Premium plans. NOXI makes the bilingual A3 from one request on the free plan, inside five documents a month, and the PDF downloads with no watermark.
The check nobody puts in a roundup. Before either file goes to print, he asks the shop what bleed and file it wants, because only six of these eleven tools document a print setting at all. Two posters, two tools, every step read off a printed rule.
Build it: an A3 poster from one request, downloaded as a PDF
Six steps turn one request into an A3 poster PDF. This is the Poster tile in NOXI 2.0, which makes 14 formats from one request: presentation, document, brochure, social post, poster, one-pager, report, proposal, résumé, infographic, letter, invitation, certificate and menu, or Auto to let NOXI choose.
An A3 poster for [a free book swap] on [Saturday 12 December, 10:00 to 13:00] in [the lobby of our building]: a big headline, the date and place, three things to bring or find, and every line in [English] with the same line in [Arabic] beside it. Warm, and readable from across the lobby.
Make the date twice as large, keep everything else exactly as it is.
Change the page to A5, keep the headline and the colours, and shorten the three items to one line each so the sheet still reads at hand size.
Step 1. Choose Poster on Home
Open noxi.ai, create a free account, no credit card needed to start, and choose the Poster tile on Home.
Step 2. Describe the poster in one request
Paste Prompt 1 with your own details. Attach your notes or an old flyer if you have them, and NOXI builds from them.
Step 3. Press Create and watch it build
NOXI sketches the page, picks a style for the subject from a library of more than ninety styles, makes the pictures, then checks the rendered page for cut-off text, overlaps and tiny labels.
Step 4. Set A3 in the Design panel
Open Design and set the sheet to A3, portrait, with the margins you want. The same panel takes A4, A5, Letter, square or a custom size, plus your accent colour, logo and fonts.
Step 5. Change any line by asking
Ask in the chat, as in Prompt 2, and NOXI changes only what you asked, or click any text and type. Select a picture and choose Edit with AI. Every change can be undone.
Step 6. Download the PDF
Export the poster as a PDF. The file is rendered and compared with the page before the download appears and carries no watermark on the free plan. Before you print, ask the shop what bleed and file it wants.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the best AI poster maker?
- On seven printed rules checked on 4 November 2026, Canva scores highest with 90 of 100, then Adobe Express 85, PosterMyWall 83 and Venngage 80. NOXI, Visme and Picsart share 68, and NOXI is fifth on the printed tie-break, which reaches free export. Microsoft Designer finishes eleventh on 48.
- What is the best AI poster generator?
- If generator means one prompt in and an editable poster out, six of eleven take full marks on that rule as of 4 November 2026: Canva, Adobe Express, PosterMyWall, Venngage, NOXI and Visme. Picsart, Kittl, Fotor, Ideogram and Microsoft Designer return a picture with words drawn in, or start from your image, and score half.
- Is there a free AI poster generator?
- Yes, with conditions. Nine of eleven free plans export a poster, but none is documented exporting with no watermark and no quota, so 0 of 11 take full marks on free export. PosterMyWall downloads free without its watermark inside a monthly limit. Venngage and Visme cannot download at all on Free, checked 4 November 2026.
- Which AI flyer generator is free?
- PosterMyWall titles a page Free AI Flyer Generator, but its help centre puts the AI on Premium plans, with free credits for select free users. Canva's Magic Design makes flyers with limited uses on Free; Adobe Express runs on free daily generations. A NOXI flyer is the Poster format at A5, and the free plan covers five documents a month.
- What is the best free poster maker?
- It depends on the condition you can live with. Adobe Express marks commercial use Yes on its free plan. PosterMyWall's free downloads carry no PosterMyWall watermark within a monthly limit. Canva scores highest overall at 90, but premium elements are watermarked on Free and print-ready CMYK export is a paid feature, checked 4 November 2026.
- Can I use AI posters for my business?
- Check the terms of your plan. Canva, Adobe Express, Venngage, Picsart and Ideogram state commercial use of AI output without a paid condition. PosterMyWall, Visme, Kittl and Fotor allow it only on paid plans. Microsoft Designer's FAQ excludes it, and NOXI scores zero because its product record is silent on commercial use.
- Does Canva put a watermark on free posters?
- Canva ties the watermark to premium elements: its help page says premium elements will have watermarks on your design if you are a Canva Free user. That condition is why Canva scores 10 of 20 on free export, read on 4 November 2026. Its pricing table also marks print-ready CMYK export as not included on Free.
- Is Microsoft Designer free for commercial use?
- No. Microsoft's Designer FAQ says Designer is licensed for personal, non-commercial use with your Microsoft account, which is why it scores zero on the business-use rule and finishes last on 48, checked 4 November 2026. Its pages disagree on price: the FAQ says free, the Welcome page mentions a Microsoft 365 account.
- Which poster maker exports a print-ready PDF?
- Six of eleven document a print option on 4 November 2026: Canva with PDF Print at 300 dpi, bleed and crop marks; Adobe Express with CMYK, crop marks and bleed; PosterMyWall with bleed margins; Venngage with bleed guides on Business; Visme with crop marks; and Kittl with CMYK for PDF and JPEG.
- Can AI make a poster in Arabic?
- Four of eleven document right-to-left text in designs as of 4 November 2026: Canva, through a mirror option in its paid Translate feature; PosterMyWall, with Arabic fonts; Venngage, with an Arabic interface and limited Arabic fonts; and NOXI, with right-to-left pages, mirrored layouts and Arabic typefaces. Adobe Express calls its support partial.
