Plus AI review cover: an AI presentation maker inside PowerPoint and Google Slides at a per-seat price, scored 86 against Gamma 83 and NOXI 98 on seven documented criteria checked on 27 October 2026

Disclosure: NOXI publishes this page and is one of the tools scored. That's why the rules, weights and the source of every cell are printed, along with where NOXI loses points. Every Plus AI and Gamma fact below comes from the vendor's own pages, opened on 27 October 2026.

Quick answer: Choose Plus AI to build decks inside your company's PowerPoint or Google Slides files on a paid seat; it has no free plan, only a card-backed 7-day trial. Choose Gamma for web-first decks with a free start; NOXI for a free editable PowerPoint with source lines and Arabic right-to-left slides. Scores: NOXI 98, Plus AI 86, Gamma 83.

Plus AI (plusai.com, not Google's "Google AI Plus" plan) is one of the strongest "AI inside PowerPoint" tools we have scored: it ties NOXI on three of seven rules and leads it on one. This review scores it on the same rubric as our AI presentation tools ranking, against Gamma, the tool searchers most often compare it with.

How we compared Plus AI, Gamma and NOXI

Plus AI, Gamma and NOXI were scored on documented capability with rubric P: seven criteria, one written rule each, applied the same way to every row. We re-applied the rules of our AI presentation tools ranking on 27 October 2026; the ranking's method section has the full anchors [16]. Plus AI is a new row on that rubric this month; Gamma's cells were re-opened today.

Method Scored on documented capability from official vendor pages opened on 27 October 2026. Not a new hands-on test. Weighted score = rating ÷ 5 × weight; weights total 100. Where two official pages of one vendor disagree, the vendor's pricing/plan page decides; where an official page is silent, the lower anchor is used and the alternative total is printed as a sensitivity line. Ties are broken on the heaviest criterion, then the next criterion in the table's order. All three rows are copied from our shared score table; NOXI's cells rest on NOXI's own product documentation, and NOXI scores lower (89) when a deck starts from an attached file, because research and source lines are off by default then.
CodeCriterionWeightThe rule (identical for every row)
P1Editable PPTX export205 = an editable .pptx with real text boxes documented on the free plan with no badge, or the tool edits the native PowerPoint or Google Slides file; 4 = the same export on paid plans only, or free with a badge; 3 = the vendor documents visible differences or elements that become images; 2 = PDF or images only, or a third-party step; 1 = no file export documented.
P2Editing depth205 = four AI levels documented: whole deck, one slide, one selected element, your own template or brand kit as the style (plus manual editing); 4 = three; 3 = two; 1 = only regeneration, or only manual editing.
P3Research with sources155 = web research documented and the source appears on the slide; 4 = cited research, placement not stated; 3 = research or citations in the chat only; 2 = grounds on uploads, no sources shown; 1 = none documented.
P4Import155 = PDF, Word, Excel or CSV, PowerPoint and images all accepted to create a deck, with a stated size limit; 4 = four of five, or all five with no limit; 3 = two or three types; 2 = one; 1 = text prompt only.
P5Languages incl. RTL105 = right-to-left layout documented; 4 = a list naming Arabic; 3 = "many languages" without a list; 2 = no list; 1 = English only.
P6Free plan reality105 = free generation and editable export, no card, no watermark, a stated monthly allowance; 4 = a badged export or a small one-time pool (also used where no allowance is stated); 3 = free generation without PowerPoint export; 2 = a time-limited trial only; 1 = no free use documented.
P7Where it runs105 = web + inside PowerPoint or Google Slides + an API, MCP server or connectors; 4 = web + one of those; 3 = web + desktop or mobile apps; 2 = web only, or a single host app.

Only official pages count, for every row; reviews, vendor comparison blogs and in-app messages do not.

The scored table: NOXI 98, Plus AI 86, Gamma 83

NOXI scores 98, Plus AI 86 and Gamma 83 out of 100 on the seven rules. Plus AI ties NOXI on export, editing depth and import and leads it on where it runs; it sits 3 points above Gamma.

Three stacked bars out of 100, one segment per criterion. NOXI 98: P1 20, P2 20, P3 15, P4 15, P5 10, P6 10, P7 8. Plus AI 86: 20, 20, 9, 15, 8, 4, 10, with P7 highlighted as the one criterion where Plus AI leads NOXI. Gamma 83: 12, 20, 12, 15, 8, 8, 8. Scored from official pages opened on 27 October 2026.
Plus AI matches NOXI's points on export, editing and import, leads on where it runs, and loses most on research sources and the free plan.

Where the gaps come from

NOXI − Plus AI = 12 points: sources +6 (15 vs 9), right-to-left layout +2 (10 vs 8) and the free plan +6 (10 vs 4), against where it runs −2 (8 vs 10); export, editing and import are level. Check: 6 + 2 + 6 − 2 = 12, and 98 − 86 = 12. NOXI scores highest on these seven rules; the 2 points it misses on P7 are the add-in inside PowerPoint or Google Slides that Plus AI has.

Plus AI − Gamma = 3 points: export +8 (20 vs 12) and where it runs +2, against sources −3 (9 vs 12) and the free plan −4 (4 vs 8); editing, import and right-to-left text are level. Check: 8 + 2 − 3 − 4 = 3, and 86 − 83 = 3.

What would change the result

  • Plus AI 80 if only the add-in's documented inputs count: the add-in names PDF, .docx, .pptx and text and says "You can't add images", so import drops to 3 (430 − 30 = 400, ÷ 5 = 80).
  • Plus AI 83, level with Gamma and above it on P1, if its web-search toggle is not read as research (P3 = 2: 430 − 15 = 415, ÷ 5 = 83). The tie-break on the heaviest criterion, export, goes to Plus AI, 5 against 3.
  • Gamma 85 if its right-to-left troubleshooting line ("layouts are adjusting formatting correctly") is read as layout (P5 = 5).
  • Gamma 87 on the 11 October reading of its export (P1 = 4).
  • NOXI 89 for a deck started from an attached file: research and source lines are off by default then (P3 = 2: 490 − 45 = 445, ÷ 5 = 89).
  • NOXI 94 without the connector (P7 = 2).

Re-weighted for in-file teams: NOXI 95, Plus AI 94

A team whose decks must live in PowerPoint files cares more about where a tool runs and less about a free plan. Move the weights to P7 25 (from 10), P6 0 (from 10) and P3 10 (from 15); the weights still total 20 + 20 + 10 + 15 + 10 + 0 + 25 = 100.

In rating-times-weight form: NOXI 100 + 100 + 50 + 75 + 50 + 0 + 100 = 475, ÷ 5 = 95; Plus AI 100 + 100 + 30 + 75 + 40 + 0 + 125 = 470, ÷ 5 = 94; Gamma 60 + 100 + 40 + 75 + 40 + 0 + 100 = 415, ÷ 5 = 83. Even weighted for in-file work, NOXI stays first by one point, and Plus AI moves 11 points clear of Gamma. Rerun the sums with your own weights before you buy.

What is Plus AI?

Plus AI is an AI presentation maker that runs as an add-in inside Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides, with a web app, a Presentation API and an MCP server for AI assistants. One subscription covers both add-ins: "Your Plus AI subscription includes both Google Slides and PowerPoint" [2]. It is made by Plus Docs, Inc.; its guide now lives at guide.plusai.com and its old plusdocs.com pages redirect to plusai.com [1][14].

A matrix of where each tool runs, from official pages opened on 27 October 2026. Plus AI: inside PowerPoint yes, inside Google Slides yes, web app yes (generate and export only), API yes, MCP yes, rubric P7 score 5. Gamma: web app, API and MCP yes, no add-in, P7 4. NOXI: web app, a connector for AI assistants and a ChatGPT plugin, no add-in, P7 4.
Plus AI is the only one of the three that works inside the PowerPoint and Google Slides files themselves, which is why it scores 5 on where it runs.

Definition PowerPoint add-in: a small app that runs in a side panel inside PowerPoint and edits the open file directly. Because the slides stay in your PowerPoint file, there is no export step, and the file keeps its slide master and fonts. Rubric P counts this route as a 5 on export.

How to get Plus AI for PowerPoint

In PowerPoint, go to the Home tab → Add-ins, search for Plus AI and add it; in Google Slides, install it from the Extensions menu [6]. The guide installs the add-in from inside PowerPoint or Google Slides and describes no separate installer; the trial starts when you choose a plan.

The MCP server needs Pro or Team in the guide, while the pricing page also lists it on Max; the pricing page decides, so this page writes Pro, Team and Max [1][11]. For the field of servers that make decks, see our ranking of MCP servers for PowerPoint.

Is Plus AI free? Plans, trial and credits

No. Plus AI's guide says "You need a paid plan to use Plus AI", and every plan "comes with a 7-day free trial and 1,000 trial AI credits"; the trial "requires a credit card, which will be automatically charged at the end of the trial" [2]. Basic costs $10 per user a month billed annually, $15 billed monthly [1].

Max$200$240Everything in Team with no fixed credit cap, as the vendor describes it; priority email support

Prices per user a month in US dollars, as plusai.com/pricing shows them on 27 October 2026 ("Prices shown per user/month, billed annually") [1][2].

Definition AI credits: a monthly budget of AI work per user. Plus AI says "a typical task usually requires 40-170 credits", that credits "belong to an individual user, not shared across the organization", and that limits "reset each month on your billing date" [7]. NOXI uses the same word differently: 1,000 free credits a month per account, about 25 for a full deck.

How many decks do Plus AI credits cover?

Plus AI prices AI tasks, not decks, so the count depends on how many tasks a deck takes. At 40 to 170 credits a task, Basic's 1,500 credits cover 1,500 ÷ 170 = 8.8 to 1,500 ÷ 40 = 37.5 tasks a month, so 8 to 37 whole tasks; Pro's 3,000 cover 17 to 75. The trial's 1,000 credits cover 5 to 25 tasks. Run your own typical deck during the trial and read the credit balance before and after.

Is Plus AI for PowerPoint free to download?

You get the add-in from PowerPoint's Add-ins menu or Microsoft AppSource, but using it needs a plan or the card-backed trial; the former "Plus free plan" its FAQ mentions is not on the pricing page today [1][2].

Creating a deck in Plus AI: prompt, outline and file uploads

Plus AI builds a deck from a prompt, an outline, slide by slide, or from an uploaded file. In PowerPoint you "tell the agent directly to create a new presentation" and can "attach up to 10 reference file(s)" on Pro or above; in Google Slides you choose Images or Slides mode, review the outline, and then generate [4].

  • Web search. A generation option says "Turn off web search for faster results, especially if you are already providing reference content". No page we opened describes citations or source lines on the slides, which is why P3 is 3 [4].
  • Upload a file (Pro or Team in the guide). Upload from your computer or Google Drive. The page says "Plus AI cannot extract images, diagrams, or charts from your document" and that it "can only generate 30 slides at a time" [5].
  • Remix or Generate. Upload an existing .pptx, PDF or Google Slides file and choose Remix to reformat each slide into a Plus template, keeping the structure, or Generate for a new deck; Default or Strict mode controls how much text is rewritten [5].
  • Images vs Slides (Google Slides). Images mode makes "more creative, visually distinctive slides"; Slides mode makes "'native,' editable slides" [4].

Can Plus AI make a deck from a PDF?

Yes, on Pro or above: the pricing page lists "Document uploads (PDF, docx, txt)", and the upload guide also takes an existing .pptx, PDF or Google Slides file, then turns it into a deck without the source's images, diagrams or charts [1][5]. The Presentation Agent API goes further, with "spreadsheets, documents, images, and more" and a 125 MB file maximum, which is why P4 is 5 with an 80 reading for the add-in alone [10].

For a consulting-style deck built from a client document, our case study presentation guide has a slide order that works in any tool.

Editing in Plus AI: rewrite, remix, agent and templates

Plus AI documents all four AI editing levels rubric P asks for: one text element, one slide, the whole presentation, and your brand as the style. "You can rewrite a specific text element, a single slide, or your entire presentation" [6], Remix redesigns the current slide or all slides, and the PowerPoint agent "can look at your selected slide and make any changes you'd like" [7].

ToolWhat it doesWhere
RewriteChange phrasing, tone or length, or translate; one element, one slide or the whole deck [6]PowerPoint, Google Slides
RemixRe-lay a slide or all slides into another design [5][6]PowerPoint, Google Slides
AgentEdits a selected slide: content, structure, "tables, charts, icons, and images"; "Work on one slide at a time" [7]PowerPoint, Agent API
Custom brandingColours, fonts and a logo shared across the team (Team plan) [8]Add-ins and web
Custom templates (beta)Your own Google Slides template, used "as-is"; up to 25 slides per template and 5 templates; Team plan [8]Google Slides only

Two cautions from its own pages. The custom-template beta "may be buggy" and says "PowerPoint support is coming soon"; and its branding FAQ adds that uploading an existing company template is set up for Enterprise customers, which "takes a week or two" [8]. Plus AI's product page says its charts and tables stay editable in Google Slides and PowerPoint [3]; in the custom-template beta, unsupported elements such as tables, charts and diagrams are imported as static elements [8].

Definition Slide master: the hidden layer of a PowerPoint or Google Slides file that holds layouts, fonts, colours, logos and footers for every slide. Plus AI's template guide asks you to move repeating text and logos into the slide master ("theme builder") before importing, "Otherwise, AI will rewrite this text" [8].

Does Plus AI support Arabic? Languages and right-to-left

Plus AI lists "80+ supported languages and counting", with Arabic, Hebrew and Urdu named, and its guide says it "supports prompts and outputs in most languages" [9]. No page we opened documents right-to-left slide layout, so P5 is 4, the same as Gamma and one point below NOXI.

Translation runs through Rewrite: pick the target language, choose the Translate preset, and rewrite one slide or the whole deck in place [6]. That keeps the same file; for an Arabic version, check text direction, timelines and number placement slide by slide. Our guide on how to translate a PowerPoint compares seven methods for that job.

NOXI builds right-to-left slides: timelines and tables run right to left, four Arabic fonts are available, Arabic and English can share a slide, and Translate a deck creates a separate Arabic or English version.

Plus AI vs Gamma

Plus AI scores 86 and Gamma 83 on the same seven rules. Plus AI leads on export (it works inside the PowerPoint or Google Slides file) and on where it runs; Gamma leads on cited research and on a free start, 400 credits with no card [15].

Pick Plus AI when the deliverable is a PowerPoint or Google Slides file someone else will keep editing. Pick Gamma for web-published decks, documents and sites, analytics on Pro, and an API you can try on the free plan; Gamma reports that more than 100 million people have used it (6 October 2026) [15]. "Plus AI vs Gamma vs Beautiful.ai": on the same rules, Beautiful.ai scores 73.

Plus AI vs Canva, ChatGPT and Claude

On the same rubric, ChatGPT scores 90, 4 points above Plus AI, all from its free plan (OpenAI says of its PowerPoint add-in: "Free and Go include limited usage access"); Claude scores 87, 1 above, with Plus AI ahead on import and Claude ahead on its free plan (83 if Claude's editing depth is read as 4 rather than 5); Canva scores 80, 6 below, with Plus AI ahead on export, editing and where it runs and Canva ahead on right-to-left layout and its free plan [22]. All three rows are copied from our shared table.

Plus AI vs Copilot in PowerPoint

Plus AI scores 86 and Copilot in PowerPoint 83. The two match on six of seven rules, both working inside PowerPoint (Copilot "directly within PowerPoint" on Windows, Mac and the web; Plus AI on PowerPoint for Windows and Mac); the 3 points are import, where Plus AI's Agent API documents all five file types with a size limit and Copilot four [17].

The real difference is how you pay. Copilot comes with a Microsoft 365 plan, from Microsoft 365 Personal at $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year in the US, with "Try free for 1 month" offers that vary "by offer and region" [17]; Plus AI is a separate per-seat subscription that also works in Google Slides. If your organisation already pays for Microsoft 365 Copilot, start there; if half the team lives in Google Slides, Plus AI covers both on one seat. Our Copilot in PowerPoint review scores Copilot against NOXI the same way, and our AI add-ins for PowerPoint page compares the other add-ins.

Plus AI for Google Slides

In Google Slides, Plus AI runs from Extensions → Plus AI, offers Images and Slides modes, and is the only place its custom-template beta works [4][8]. For Gemini's own features inside Slides and the other add-ons, see our Google Slides AI guide.

Does Plus AI train on my slides? Privacy and data

Plus AI's privacy policy says "Plus Docs Inc. does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence" models, and that it may use "aggregated, de-identified and/or anonymized data created from your use of our Services" to improve the service and develop new products [14]. The policy page shows no last-updated date.

Plus AI lists security certifications on its own security page; read them there. NOXI's privacy policy (updated 20 September 2026) states: "We do not use your presentations, prompts, or uploaded files to train or fine-tune AI models"; NOXI is operated from Abu Dhabi and encrypts data in transit and at rest [20]. With any tool, check the plan's data terms before uploading client files with personal information.

What these rules don't measure

Rubric P measures what a vendor documents before you pay, and gives NOXI a 5 on six of seven criteria; read it with this list beside it.

  • Working in the real file. Plus AI edits the PowerPoint or Google Slides file your client sent, on one subscription for both. P7 gives it one extra point; the time saved by never moving a deck between tools is not scored.
  • Template fidelity. How closely a tool keeps a company's slide master, footers and fonts is not a criterion. Plus AI's in-file add-in and its custom-template beta aim at exactly this.
  • Google Slides depth. Images and Slides modes, translation in place and the template beta in Google Slides are not scored separately.
  • Team administration. Shared branding, presets, a shared preset library and team invitations (Plus AI Team), and Gamma's advanced sharing, are not scored.
  • Developer routes. Plus AI's Agent API edits an existing .pptx over several turns, and it has a Zapier integration; Gamma's API and MCP work on its free plan. P7 counts any of these the same.
  • Web publishing and analytics. Gamma publishes decks, documents and sites with analytics on Pro.
  • In-app export notices. NOXI's app tells you when complex graphics are kept as images in the exported file. In-app messages are not official pages, so no rule scores them, for any tool.
  • Output quality, design taste, speed and accuracy. Not measured for anyone, nor how often a tool invents a figure, accessibility, or comments and review.

The fair test is your own: run one real brief through all three and compare the files you would send.

Worked example: a five-person consultancy choosing add-in, web app or both

A five-person firm can pay $1,200 a year for five Plus AI Pro seats, or keep one Pro seat for the client-template work at $240 and draft everything else, including its Arabic versions, in NOXI for $0, saving $960 a year.

Example Daniela Rossi is the fictional partner of Rossi Strategy, a fictional five-person strategy consultancy in Milan. The firm makes 20 decks a month in PowerPoint: 6 must be built inside clients' own PowerPoint templates, 14 are internal and proposal decks, and 2 of those 14 need an Arabic version for a client in Riyadh. All prices are US prices on the vendors' pages on 27 October 2026.

Horizontal bars of yearly cost for the fictional five-person Rossi Strategy, US prices on 27 October 2026: Plus AI Team five seats $1,800, Plus AI Pro five seats $1,200, Gamma Pro five seats $1,080, one Plus AI Pro seat plus NOXI $240, NOXI only $0. The chosen split saves $960 a year against five Plus AI Pro seats.
One Plus AI seat for in-template work plus NOXI for drafts costs $240 a year, $960 less than five Pro seats.

Step 2: does one Pro seat cover the client-template decks?

Daniela builds the 6 client-template decks herself in PowerPoint with the Plus AI agent. Pro gives her 3,000 credits a month, so 3,000 ÷ 6 = 500 credits per deck. At 40 to 170 credits a task, that is 500 ÷ 170 = 2.9 to 500 ÷ 40 = 12.5 tasks per deck [1][7]. If her decks need more, Team's 6,000 credits double it for $10 more a month on annual billing.

Step 3: do the free NOXI accounts cover the rest?

Her four consultants draft the 14 internal and proposal decks in NOXI: 14 × 25 = 350 credits. The 2 Arabic versions, made with Translate a deck, add 2 × 25 = 50. That is 350 + 50 = 400 credits a month across four free accounts of 1,000 each, 400 ÷ 4,000 = 10% of the allowance. Every file downloads as an editable PowerPoint with embedded fonts, Arabic included.

Step 4: the decision

Rossi Strategy buys one Plus AI Pro seat ($240 a year) for the partner who works inside client templates, and drafts and translates everything else in NOXI. Against five Plus AI Pro seats it saves $1,200 − $240 = $960 a year, 960 ÷ 1,200 = 80%; against five Gamma Pro seats, $1,080 − $240 = $840, 77.8%. On the in-file weighting the firm's own priorities favour, the two tools it keeps score 95 and 94. Daniela sets a review date of 1 March 2027, after a quarter of real decks.

Here are three slides from the deck NOXI built for this article's worked example, unedited.

Where NOXI fits

NOXI is our pick for a free editable PowerPoint with no watermark, source lines on slides with figures in decks started from a prompt, and Arabic right-to-left slides. It builds a full, designed deck from a topic, a brief or a file, and lets you edit it by chat or on the slide.

Describe your topic and NOXI builds the full deck; you can review the outline first or generate straight away. When you start from a prompt, NOXI researches the topic on the web first, and slides with figures carry a source line linking to where each number came from. NOXI adds images where a slide needs one, and it can also beautify, restructure, complete, reformat or translate a deck you already have.

Definition Editable PPTX export: a PowerPoint file in which each title, paragraph and label is a real text box you can retype, restyle and move, rather than a picture of the slide. Rubric P gives a 5 only when this is documented on the free plan with no badge, or when the tool works inside the PowerPoint or Google Slides file itself, as Plus AI does.

NOXI is also a plugin in ChatGPT's plugin directory: open Plugins in the ChatGPT sidebar, search NOXI, select Install plugin and then Connect, sign in to NOXI, and type @NOXI in a chat to ask for a deck. OpenAI says installing or using a plugin "depends on your plan, workspace, role, region" [19]. Our NOXI ChatGPT plugin post has the details.

Three prompts for a NOXI deck

Prompt 1 · Translate a client deck

"Translate the attached proposal deck into Arabic for a client in Riyadh. Keep every number, date, name and source line, use Modern Standard Arabic suitable for a senior management audience, and keep the company names in English."

Prompt 2 · Tool comparison deck

"Build a 9-slide deck comparing [tool A], [tool B] and [tool C] for [team]: the verdict, the seven criteria with each rating and its reason, the arithmetic of each total, a re-weighting for [priority], the yearly cost for [number] seats, and a recommendation with a review date."

Prompt 3 · Consulting proposal

"Create a 10-slide proposal for [client] on [problem]: the situation, three findings with one number each, the options, our recommendation, the timeline in four phases, the fee in [currency], and next steps. Full-sentence slide titles."

Build it: translate an English deck into Arabic with NOXI's Translate a deck

To make an Arabic version of an English deck, choose Translate a deck under More on NOXI's Home screen, attach the deck, choose Arabic, then check the new right-to-left deck and download an editable PowerPoint or a PDF. One flow, six steps:

Step 1 — Choose Translate a deck

Open noxi.ai, sign in with a free account (no card), and pick Translate a deck under More on the Home screen. Uploading a file needs the free account.

Step 2 — Attach your English deck

Attach the deck as a PowerPoint or PDF file, up to 200 MB, whether it was built in Plus AI, PowerPoint or another tool.

Step 3 — Name Arabic as the target language

Choose Arabic, and add the audience and any terms to keep in English, or paste Prompt 1.

Step 4 — Check the new Arabic deck

NOXI recreates it as a new Arabic deck that keeps meaning, facts, names, numbers and citations, with right-to-left slides. Read it slide by slide against the original and confirm each number, date and name.

Step 5 — Edit by chat or on the slide

Ask the AI to change one slide or the whole deck in plain Arabic or English, click any element and tell it what to change, or edit text right on the slide.

Step 6 — Download, present or share

Download an editable PowerPoint (.pptx) with real text boxes and embedded Arabic fonts, or a PDF, free and with no watermark. You can also present full-screen or share a view-only or edit link.

Plus AI review: FAQ

Is Plus AI free?
No. Plus AI's guide says you need a paid plan to use it. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial with 1,000 AI credits, and a card is required and charged when it ends. You can add the add-in inside PowerPoint, but using it needs the trial or a plan, from $10 per user a month billed annually.
How much does Plus AI cost?
Per user a month, billed annually, Plus AI costs $10 for Basic with 1,500 AI credits, $20 for Pro with 3,000, $30 for Team with 6,000 and $200 for Max. Billed monthly the prices are $15, $25, $40 and $240. These are US prices on its pricing page on 27 October 2026, and it offers no refunds.
Does Plus AI work in Google Slides and PowerPoint?
Yes. One Plus AI subscription includes both the PowerPoint add-in and the Google Slides add-on, and a web app generates decks you export as .pptx. The PowerPoint add-in needs Windows version 2208 or Mac 16.64 or later and is not supported on PowerPoint for iPad; the agent mode runs only in PowerPoint and the Agent API.
Is Plus AI better than Gamma?
On our seven printed rules Plus AI scores 86 and Gamma 83. Plus AI leads on export, because it works inside the PowerPoint or Google Slides file, and on where it runs. Gamma leads on cited research and a free start of 400 credits with no card. Choose Plus AI for in-file decks, Gamma for web-published decks.
Is Plus AI better than Copilot?
On the same rules Plus AI scores 86 and Copilot in PowerPoint 83; the 3 points come from import, where Plus AI's Agent API documents all five file types with a size limit. Both work inside PowerPoint. Copilot comes with a Microsoft 365 plan; Plus AI is a separate per-seat subscription that also covers Google Slides.
Can Plus AI make a deck from a PDF?
Yes, on Pro or above. The add-in uploads a PDF, Word document, PowerPoint or text file, or a Google Slides file, and builds a deck from it, though it cannot extract images, diagrams or charts and generates about 30 slides at a time. Its Presentation Agent API also accepts spreadsheets and images, up to 125 MB per file.
Does Plus AI support Arabic?
Plus AI lists more than 80 supported languages, with Arabic, Hebrew and Urdu named, and can translate one slide or a whole deck with Rewrite. No page we opened on 27 October 2026 documents right-to-left slide layout, so check text direction, timelines and tables slide by slide in any Arabic version.
Does Plus AI have an API or MCP server?
Yes. Plus AI offers a Presentations API, a Presentation Agent API that edits an existing deck over several turns, and an MCP server with OAuth sign-in through Microsoft or Google. Its pricing page lists the MCP server and API on Pro, Team and Max; its guide names Pro or Team. A Zapier integration is also documented.
Does Plus AI train on my slides?
Its privacy policy says Plus Docs does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve or train generalised AI models, and that it may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the service and build new products. The policy shows no update date. Check your plan's data terms before uploading client files with personal information.
How is NOXI different from Plus AI?
On seven printed rules checked on 27 October 2026, NOXI scores 98 and Plus AI 86. NOXI leads on source lines on slides, a free plan with 1,000 monthly credits, and right-to-left layout; Plus AI leads on where it runs, inside PowerPoint and Google Slides. Weighted for in-file teams, NOXI scores 95 and Plus AI 94.
