Figma Slides AI: what it does, how the PowerPoint export behaves, and how Figma Slides scores against five AI tools

Figma Slides' AI read from Figma's own pages on 27 October 2026: what it does, the ChatGPT route from prompt to deck, plans and AI credits, what changes in a PowerPoint export, presenting and Arabic, scored on seven printed rules against NOXI, Gamma, Canva, Gemini in Google Slides and Pitch.

Figma Slides AI — NOXI comparison cover: what Figma Slides' AI does, how its PowerPoint export behaves and what it costs, scored on seven documented rules against NOXI, Gamma, Canva, Gemini in Google Slides and Pitch

Disclosure: NOXI publishes this page and is one of the tools scored. That's why the rules, weights and the source of every cell are printed, along with where NOXI loses points.

Quick answer: Yes, Figma Slides has AI, and it exports to PowerPoint. Figma's help pages (checked 27 October 2026) document a FigJam-to-deck outline and Rewrite, Shorten, Translate and Adjust tone on selected text, but no prompt-to-deck inside Slides. The .pptx export works on any plan but changes fonts, gradients and live elements. On seven printed rules: Figma Slides 58, NOXI 98.

Figma answers both questions on its own help pages. "Get started with Figma AI" (edited 15 October 2026) describes the Slides workflow: a FigJam board as the starting point, copy adjusted for your audience, a draft of what to say [1]. "Export from Figma Slides" (edited 24 July 2026) says the export is "Available on any plan" and lists its limitations [8]. "Use ChatGPT with Figma" is the only documented route from a typed prompt to a whole Slides deck, and it is "currently not available in the EU" [6].

The one-line rule: use Figma Slides when the deck is a design artefact your team builds by hand in Figma, with live polls and embedded prototypes; use a deck generator when you want the AI to build the whole deck from a prompt or a file and hand over a PowerPoint that opens without swapped fonts.

In short

  • Does it have AI?Yes: an outline from a FigJam board, Rewrite, Shorten, Translate and Adjust tone on a selected text layer, image tools, and a draft of what to say per slide [1][2][3][4].
  • Prompt to deck? Not inside Slides. The Figma app in ChatGPT builds a Slides deck from a prompt: beta, any Figma plan, not in the EU, about 28–72+ AI credits a deck [6][7].
  • PowerPoint exportOn any plan. Missing fonts switch to PowerPoint's default, live interactions and code blocks become static images, gradients become solid fills; no bulk export [8].
  • PriceStarter is free with 3 Slides files; a Professional Full seat is $16 a month and a Collab seat $3 a month, billed annually [10][11].
  • The scoresNOXI 98, Gamma 83, Canva 80, Google Slides with Gemini 66, Pitch 61, Figma Slides 58; Figma's range on other readings is 55 to 62.
  • Not scoredDesign mode, live polls, embedded prototypes, co-presenting and offline presenting, where Figma Slides is strong.

How we compared Figma Slides with NOXI and four other tools

All six tools were scored on documented capability: seven criteria, one written rule each, applied the same way to every row. We re-applied the rules of our AI presentation tools ranking on 27 October 2026; the criteria, anchors and weights are those printed in the ranking's method section [43].

Method Scored on documented capability from official vendor pages opened on 27 October 2026. Not a new hands-on test. Weighted score = rating ÷ 5 × weight; weights total 100. Where two official pages of one vendor disagree, the vendor's pricing/plan page decides; where an official page is silent, the lower anchor is used and the alternative total is printed as a sensitivity line. Ties are broken on the heaviest criterion, then the next criterion in the table's order. NOXI's cells come from its own product pages and documented features; a deck started from an attached file scores lower (89), because NOXI's web research and source lines are off by default then.

Five rows are copied unchanged from our shared rubric P table, re-opened on 27 October 2026; only the Figma Slides row is new.

Figma Slides vs five tools: the mini-ranking on seven rules

On the seven rules, NOXI scores 98, Gamma 83, Canva 80, Google Slides with Gemini 66, Pitch 61 and Figma Slides 58. NOXI scores highest on these seven rules; Figma Slides is level with NOXI on P6 (free plan) and P7 (where it runs).

Figma Slides' seven cells and what Figma's pages say

RuleFigma ratingWhat Figma's pages document (opened 27 October 2026)
P13Export to .pptx on any plan, with fonts changed to "the default PowerPoint font" when missing and "Live interactions and code blocks will be exported as static images": font substitution plus elements that become images is anchor 3 [8]
P23Two levels: one selected element ("Select a text layer", then Rewrite, Shorten, Translate or Adjust tone) and a template as the style when generating from FigJam ("Select a template to use for the deck"). No AI change to one slide or the whole deck; the Figma agent in Slides is "limited to participants in the closed beta", not counted [1][2][3][4]
P31No web research or sources documented for Slides; Figma's AI tools list has nothing of the kind for Slides [1]
P43 (v)"You can import PowerPoint files (.pptx) to Figma Slides", plus "limited support" for images and PDFs as context through the ChatGPT app: three types, no size limit stated [6][9]
P52The right-to-left article is "Available in Figma Design and FigJam files"; Translate offers "Select a language" with no published list [3][17]
P65 (v)The pricing table ticks Starter for "Slide outline from FigJam (AI)" and "Import/Export to Powerpoint", with "150 AI credits/day, up to 500 AI credits/mo" that reset monthly; no watermark mentioned. The help pages say paid plans; the pricing page decides [2][7][10]
P74Web and desktop app, plus an MCP server that can "make edits to Design, FigJam, Slides, and Make files", and the Figma app in ChatGPT; no PowerPoint or Google Slides add-in [6][10]

The 40-point gap, explained

NOXI minus Figma Slides = 40. NOXI gains on P1 (+8), P2 (+8), P3 (+12), P4 (+6) and P5 (+6); they are level on P6 and P7. Check: 8 + 8 + 12 + 6 + 6 = 40 = 98 − 58. The largest gap is P3: Figma documents no research for Slides.

Pitch minus Figma Slides = 3. Pitch gains on P2 (+4, three editing levels against two) and P4 (+3, four import types against three); Figma gains on P6 (+4, a stated monthly allowance against Pitch's "100 lifetime (non-recurring) credits") [40]. Check: 4 + 3 − 4 = 3 = 61 − 58.

What would change the result

  • Figma Slides 56 if the help pages ("Available on paid plans") and the Slides FAQ, which names Professional, Organization and Enterprise plans for AI, are preferred over the pricing table that ticks Starter (P6 = 4) [2][10][12].
  • Figma Slides 55 if uploads through the ChatGPT app are not counted as import, leaving PowerPoint only (P4 = 2).
  • Figma Slides 62 if the closed-beta Figma agent in Slides, or the per-slide draft of what to say, counts as another editing level (P2 = 4).
  • Figma Slides 62 if the right-to-left article, which names Arabic for Design and FigJam, is read as covering Slides (P5 = 4).
  • NOXI 89 for a deck started from an attached file, where research and source lines are off by default (P3 = 2); NOXI 94 if its connector is not counted (P7 = 2).
  • Gamma 85 if its right-to-left troubleshooting step is read as right-to-left layout (P5 = 5); 87 on our 11 October reading of P1; 80 if CSV through its AI Agent is not an import (P4 = 4) [25][26]. Gamma's free plan is a one-time pool of 400 credits that do not refresh, which is why its P6 is 4 [27].
  • Canva 78 if page mirroring is not read as right-to-left layout (P5 = 4); 76 if the pricing export row is read as the full Free list (P6 = 3).

Where another tool comes first: at 62, Figma Slides would pass Pitch (61) and sit fifth. No reading moves NOXI out of first place in this table: its lowest line, 89 for a deck started from a file, stays above Gamma's highest, 87. Figma's whole range, 55 to 62, stays below Google Slides with Gemini (66).

What Figma Slides' AI does today

Figma Slides' AI is a set of helpers inside a hand-built deck: it turns a FigJam board into a first deck, rewrites, shortens, translates or re-tones a selected text layer, edits images and drafts what to say for each slide. It does not generate a whole deck from a typed prompt inside Slides; that runs through ChatGPT [1][2][6].

Definition Figma Slides: Figma's presentation editor, included with Figma seats and out of open beta since 19 March 2025, with a slides mode for building decks and a design mode that brings Figma Design tools into slides. Its AI helpers work on a FigJam board, a selected text layer or an image; a deck from a typed prompt comes through the Figma app in ChatGPT.

Design mode and AI

In design mode, a Full-seat user gets Figma Design features "such as auto layout, the layers panel, and advanced properties", and decks can use components, styles and variables from Figma libraries [18]. None of it is AI or scored, but it is why design teams pick Slides.

Definition Design mode: the Figma Slides mode, for Full seats, that unlocks Figma Design features (auto layout, the layers panel, advanced properties) inside a deck, alongside the simpler slides mode. Figma's Explore Figma Slides page lists it as a limited beta.

Is Figma Slides an AI presentation maker?

Not in the generator sense: inside Slides the AI works on a FigJam board or a text layer you already have. Figma's prompt-to-deck route is ChatGPT, below.

Making a Figma Slides deck from a prompt: the ChatGPT route

To make a Figma Slides deck from a prompt, open ChatGPT, connect the Figma app, and ask for "a Figma Slides presentation about" your topic; ChatGPT turns the prompt into "an objective, an outline, and notes on style", and Figma generates the deck [6]. It is a beta on any Figma plan, costs about 28–72+ AI credits a deck, and is not available in the EU [6][7].

  1. Connect the Figma app in ChatGPT. Figma's help page still describes the path as "Apps & connectors"; OpenAI's own help now says "Open Settings > Plugins" [6][21].
  2. Ask for the deck. Figma recommends starting the prompt with "Figma", or choosing the app from the + menu [6].
  3. Review the preview that ChatGPT embeds in the chat.
  4. Open it in Figma ("Edit in Figma" on desktop) and claim the file. Figma warns that unclaimed files "are public and viewable by anyone with the link" [6].
Two routes to a Figma Slides deck, from Figma's help pages opened 27 October 2026. Route one, inside Figma: a FigJam board becomes a deck outline through Make Slides with an outline, on paid plans per the help page. Route two, in ChatGPT: a prompt goes to the Figma app, which generates a Slides deck for about 28 to 72 or more AI credits, in beta on any Figma plan. A line marks that the ChatGPT route is not available in the EU.
Inside Slides the AI starts from a FigJam board; a deck from a typed prompt goes through ChatGPT, and not in the EU.

The EU line and the credits

OpenAI launched apps in ChatGPT on 6 October 2025 "outside of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom" [19]; Figma's blog of 11 December 2025 says "All ChatGPT users outside the EU can now use the Figma app" [14], and its help page says the route is "currently not available in the EU" [6]. We found no Figma page that lifts it.

Credits come from your Figma allowance: "Generate a Figma Slides presentation" draws about 28–72+ credits, "Larger, image-heavy" decks at the top, at "rates as of October 15, 2026" [7]. On Starter's 500 a month, 72 credits a deck is 500 ÷ 72 = 6.9, so about 6 decks a month at the upper rate, inside a 150-credit daily cap that allows 2 such decks a day (150 ÷ 72 = 2.08). Figma adds that during the beta "Full seats on paid plans come with the largest usage allowance" [6].

Uploading files to the ChatGPT route

Figma says the route has "limited support for generating Figma Slides content using file uploads like images or PDFs" [6]. That is why our P4 cell is a cautious 3 (v), and 55 without those uploads.

Other presentation plugins in ChatGPT

Figma is one of several presentation tools you can call from a chat. NOXI is also in ChatGPT's plugin directory [22]: our NOXI plugin announcement has the steps, and our ranking of ChatGPT plugins for presentations scores the Figma app and nine others on their own rules. OpenAI says installing or using any plugin "depends on your plan, workspace, role, region" [20].

Is Figma Slides free? Price, plans and the AI credit conflict

Figma Slides is free on the Starter plan with 3 Slides files and 500 AI credits a month; paid Professional seats cost $16 (Full), $12 (Dev) or $3 (Collab) a month billed annually, and Slides comes with each seat [10][11]. Which AI tools Starter gets depends on which Figma page you read.

figma.com/pricing ("Prices in USD") and help 33459875669015, opened 27 October 2026. Credits "Reset monthly" and "Don't roll over" [7].

Definition AI credits (Figma): the monthly allowance every Figma seat draws on for AI features, from 500 a month on Starter, Dev, Collab and View seats to 4,250 on an Enterprise Full seat. Credits reset monthly and don't roll over; each feature has its own rate, such as 28–72+ credits for a Slides deck made in ChatGPT.

The conflict between Figma's pages

Three Figma pages say three things about AI on the free plan. The pricing table ticks Starter for "Slide outline from FigJam (AI)", the AI talking-point drafts and "Import/Export to Powerpoint" [10]. The help pages for the FigJam outline and the text tools say "Available on paid plans" [2][3]. The Slides product page says its AI features are "currently free while in beta", but its FAQ names Professional, Organization and Enterprise plans for AI [12]. Under our printed rule the vendor's pricing page decides, so Figma's P6 is 5 (v), with 56 printed for the help-page reading.

How much is Figma Slides for a team of five?

For five people on Professional, billed annually: two designers on Full seats at $16 and three colleagues on Collab seats at $3 cost (2 × $16 + 3 × $3) × 12 = ($32 + $9) × 12 = $492 a year. Billed monthly, the same team costs (2 × $20 + 3 × $5) × 12 = $660, so annual billing saves $168 (25.5%).

Figma Slides to PowerPoint: what changes in the file

Figma Slides exports to PowerPoint on any plan through Main menu > File > Export slides to, with a Structure choice: "convert all objects to editable PPTX equivalent or to flatten shapes and images into bitmap" [8]. Figma lists three changes in the .pptx and one missing feature.

ElementWhat Figma says happens in .pptxWhat to do
Fonts"If a font is not available in PowerPoint, the text layer will be updated to use the default PowerPoint font" [8]Use fonts the recipient has, or embed them in PowerPoint before sending
Live interactions, code"Live interactions and code blocks will be exported as static images" [8]Replace polls and alignment scales with a question slide
Gradients"Gradient fills will be changed to solid color fills" [8]Check covers and backgrounds that rely on gradients
Bulk export"Bulk exporting is not currently supported in Figma Slides" [8]Export deck by deck
What changes when a Figma Slides deck is exported to PowerPoint, from Figma's export help page edited 24 July 2026: missing fonts switch to PowerPoint's default font, live interactions and code blocks become static images, gradient fills become solid colours, and bulk export is not supported. A second panel shows NOXI's PowerPoint export: editable text boxes and embedded fonts, Arabic included, free with no watermark.
Figma's export keeps the deck editable but swaps missing fonts and flattens live elements; plan for both before an investor or client opens it.

The font rule matters most, because Figma decks often use brand fonts PowerPoint lacks. Our guide to embedding fonts in PowerPoint covers how to keep typography once the file is in PowerPoint.

Definition Editable PPTX export: a PowerPoint file in which titles and body text arrive as real text boxes you can retype, not as pictures of slides. Rubric P's P1 gives 5 when that file comes free with no badge, and 3 when the vendor documents substituted fonts or elements that become images, as Figma, Gamma, Canva and Pitch do.

Can Figma Slides export to Google Slides?

Figma's export page lists PPTX and PDF only, and its import page covers .pptx only; no Figma page documents a Google Slides import or export [8][9]. The route is the .pptx file, which Google Slides opens.

Importing a PowerPoint into Figma Slides

Figma Slides imports PowerPoint files on all plans: from the file browser, click Import, then Import from computer, and pick the .pptx [9]. Review the result, because some objects change or disappear.

  • Text: "all text layers will be updated to use the default Figma Slides font, Inter" [9].
  • Not imported: videos, tables, diagrams and animations; Figma suggests re-uploading videos, recreating tables and diagrams or pasting a screenshot, and adding new transitions [9].
  • Other formats: the import page names .pptx only [9].

A round trip changes fonts twice: to Inter on the way in, and to PowerPoint's default on the way out for fonts PowerPoint lacks.

Presenting in Figma Slides: live interactions, co-presenting and offline

Presenting is where Figma Slides is strongest: live polls, stamps and alignment scales, clickable prototypes, spotlight co-presenting and offline presenting [15][16][18]. None of these is AI or scored.

  • Live interactions. Poll, Stamps and Alignment; "audience members must be logged in to their Figma account and have at least can view access" [15].
  • Presenter view. A view with your notes for the presenter, opened alongside the audience window [16].
  • Spotlight. Others follow you through the deck and can take over "so no one ever has to say 'Next slide'" [16].
  • Offline. "Make available offline" preloads the deck; embedded prototypes and YouTube videos "cannot be interacted with when offline" [16].
  • Prototypes and Figma Make. Decks can embed clickable prototypes and Figma Make files; Figma's own examples include startup pitches that use prototypes "to build excitement with potential investors" [18].

The catch for external audiences is the login: a client or investor who votes in a poll needs a Figma account.

Figma Slides vs PowerPoint, Google Slides and Canva

Figma Slides fits teams that already design in Figma; PowerPoint and Google Slides fit decks other people edit in their own files; Canva fits mixed teams that want templates, video and social formats in one editor. Vendor pages opened 27 October 2026.

Figma Slides vs PowerPoint

PowerPoint is the file most recipients expect, and its AI, Copilot, "generates or edits content directly within PowerPoint" on Windows, Mac and the web [42]. Figma Slides wins on design-system control and live interactions; PowerPoint wins when the CFO, client or investor will edit the file, because nothing changes on export.

Figma Slides vs Google Slides

Google Slides with Gemini scores 66 here and Figma Slides 58: Gemini edits the native Google Slides file (P1 = 5), while Figma documents export changes (P1 = 3). Figma leads on its free plan and on its MCP server. For the wider choice between the two big editors, see Google Slides vs PowerPoint.

Figma Slides vs Canva

Canva scores 80 and Figma Slides 58; Canva documents more import types (PDF, Word, Excel or CSV, PowerPoint and images), page mirroring for right-to-left languages and web research [32][33][34]. Figma is the better fit when the deck must use your Figma components and variables. Our ranking of Canva alternatives scores Figma Slides and nine other tools against Canva.

Gamma and Pitch build a deck from a prompt in their own editors: Gamma pulls in web citations [24], Pitch's agent uses "uploaded files as context, and a template" [39]; both document PowerPoint export differences [23][38].

Figma MCP and Figma Slides

The Figma MCP server lets AI agents "make edits to Design, FigJam, Slides, and Make files", with rate limits by plan: 20 tool calls a month on Starter, 200 a day on Professional and Organization, and 600 a day on Enterprise [10]. Figma names Claude Code, Codex and Cursor as tools you can connect to it [1].

That gives Figma P7 = 4, level with NOXI. For agents that build decks rather than edit Figma files, our ranking of MCP servers for PowerPoint scores Figma's server and nine others. NOXI's connector uses the address on noxi.ai/connect, then you open the deck in NOXI to edit, present or export [44].

Figma Slides and Arabic right-to-left text

Figma's right-to-left article says "RTL languages and bidirectional text are supported in Figma Design and FigJam files"; Figma Slides is not on its list, and Translate publishes no language list [3][17]. That gives Figma Slides P5 = 2; reading the article as covering Slides would give 4 (Arabic named) and a total of 62.

In this table, Canva and NOXI document right-to-left layout (P5 = 5) and Gamma right-aligned Arabic text (P5 = 4) [26][34].

Worked example: a product designer splits Figma and NOXI

A product designer who pays $192 a year for a Figma Professional Full seat keeps his design reviews in Figma Slides and moves only the investor update, which his CFO edits in PowerPoint, to a free tool.

Example Noah Kim is a fictional product designer at Sobaek Labs, a fictional 20-person startup in Seoul. He makes 3 decks a month: 2 design reviews and 1 investor update that his CFO, Mina Park (also fictional), edits in PowerPoint. He decides on 10 November 2026. Prices are those on Figma's and Gamma's pages, opened 27 October 2026.

Step 1: what he already pays

His Professional Full seat costs $16 a month billed annually: 12 × $16 = $192 a year, with 3,000 AI credits a month [7][10]. The seat stays either way.

Step 2: the design reviews stay in Figma Slides

The 2 reviews embed clickable prototypes and use a live poll to pick between two flows; the audience is his own team, all logged in to Figma [15]. If he started each review from a prompt in ChatGPT at the upper rate, 2 × 72 = 144 credits a month, 4.8% of his 3,000 (144 ÷ 3,000 = 0.048). Seoul is outside the EU, so the route is open to him [6].

Step 3: the investor update is the problem

The investor deck uses his brand font and a gradient cover. Exported to .pptx, the font switches to PowerPoint's default and the gradient turns solid [8]; Mina re-formats it every month, about 1 hour by his estimate, or 12 hours a year (fictional).

Step 4: the options for that one deck

OptionArithmeticExtra cost a year
Keep exporting from Figma$0, plus 12 × 1 hour of Mina's re-formatting$0
Gamma Plus$108 per seat billed annually; its own export page still lists visual differences [23][29]$108
NOXIFix formatting on the Figma export, 1 deck × 25 credits = 25 of 1,000 free credits a month (2.5%)$0

Step 5: the decision

Noah keeps Figma Slides for the design reviews and runs the investor update through NOXI: he exports the Figma deck as .pptx, uses Fix formatting, and sends Mina an editable PowerPoint with embedded fonts. Against Gamma Plus he saves $108 a year; against the current routine, Mina's 12 hours (his estimate). He reviews the split on 1 March 2027, in case the Figma agent leaves its closed beta in Slides.

Teams that also design with Anthropic's tools can compare the routes in our Claude Design guide, which covers how Figma files feed Claude's design systems and how it compares with Figma Make.

Here are three slides from the deck NOXI built for this article's worked example, unedited.

What these rules don't measure

The seven rules measure documented AI capability for making and exporting a deck, not design control or presenting, so several real strengths score nothing here.

  • Figma Slides: design mode with auto layout and the layers panel, plus components, styles and variables from Figma Design; live polls, stamps and alignment scales with the results kept; embedded prototypes and Figma Make files; spotlight co-presenting with audio and cursor chat; offline presenting; Slides included with every seat, with a Collab seat at $3 a month billed annually; an MCP server that edits Slides files [10][15][16][18].
  • Gamma: web publishing of decks, docs and sites; detailed analytics and advanced sharing on Pro; an API and MCP server on every plan, Free included [28][29].
  • Canva: a very large design and template library, Brand Kits and Brand Templates, team design workflows, video and social formats in one editor; Translate with page mirroring [31][34].
  • Google Slides with Gemini: already inside Google Slides and Drive, editing the native file your colleagues share [36].
  • Pitch: collaboration and presentation analytics, and a remote MCP server hosted by Pitch [41].
  • Not measured for anyone: design quality and taste, speed, how often a tool invents a figure, accessibility, comments and review workflows, video and offline presenting. NOXI's export notices, where complex graphics can be kept as pictures, are not scored either.

Where others lead NOXI, in plain terms: Figma Slides has design mode, live interactions, a desktop app and offline presenting; NOXI runs in the browser on desktop and phone and hands you an editable .pptx. Google Slides with Gemini works inside the Google Slides file itself.

NOXI vs Figma Slides: where NOXI fits

NOXI fits where Figma Slides' AI stops: decks built whole from a prompt or a file, researched figures with a source line, right-to-left Arabic slides, and a free, editable PowerPoint for people who never open Figma. NOXI scores highest on these seven rules (98 against Figma Slides' 58), and it is our pick for design teams whose decks leave Figma as PowerPoint files.

Describe your topic and NOXI builds the full deck; when you start from a prompt, it researches the topic on the web first, and slides with figures carry a source line [45]. You can also upload a PDF, Word document, Excel or CSV file, PowerPoint or image, up to 200 MB per file. Ask the AI to change one slide or the whole deck in plain language, click any element and say what to change, or use Match reference to design a new deck in the style of one you already like.

Download an editable PowerPoint (.pptx), free and with no watermark: NOXI's own export engine writes real, editable text boxes and embeds the fonts, Arabic included. Export a PDF, present full-screen or share a link. NOXI is free, with no card: each account gets 1,000 credits a month, and a full deck uses about 25. Your presentations, prompts and files are not used to train AI models [45].

Three prompts for Figma users in NOXI

Prompt 1 · Clean up a Figma export

"Fix the formatting of the attached deck exported from Figma Slides: keep every slide, number and name, align titles and text consistently, use [font] throughout, and keep the colours [hex codes]."

Prompt 2 · Investor update from a spreadsheet

"Build a [number]-slide investor update for [company] from the attached spreadsheet: one metric per slide, full-sentence titles, the month-on-month change in each title, and a closing slide with the asks and the next update date."

Prompt 3 · Design review summary

"Turn these review notes into a [number]-slide design review for [audience]: the problem, the two options with their trade-offs, the decision, and the next steps with owners and dates. Notes: [paste notes]."

Build it: clean up a Figma Slides export with Fix formatting

To turn a Figma Slides deck into a PowerPoint that opens cleanly outside Figma, export it as .pptx, attach it to NOXI's Fix formatting, and download an editable .pptx with embedded fonts:

Step 1 — Export your deck from Figma Slides as PowerPoint

In Figma Slides, open Main menu, then File, Export slides to, choose PPTX and all slides, keep the editable structure, and click Export. This file carries your slides, text and numbers into NOXI.

Step 2 — Sign in to NOXI with a free account

Open noxi.ai and sign in or create a free account; uploads and exports need one. No card is needed, and each account gets 1,000 credits a month.

Step 3 — Choose Fix formatting and attach the file

On NOXI Home, open More and choose Fix formatting, then attach the .pptx you exported from Figma Slides.

Step 4 — Say what to keep

In the brief, name what must stay as it is: every slide, number and name, your brand colours and the font you want, for example "keep all 9 slides and the Sobaek Labs colours, set titles in one font".

Step 5 — Let NOXI rebuild it, then edit by chat

NOXI recreates the deck with consistent alignment, spacing and typography, and you watch each slide being built. Then ask the AI to change one slide or the whole deck, click any element and say what to change, or edit text, tables and chart numbers on the slide.

Step 6 — Download an editable PowerPoint or a PDF

Download the deck as an editable PowerPoint (.pptx) with real text boxes and embedded fonts, free and with no watermark, or as a PDF, and send it to the people who edit in PowerPoint.

Figma Slides AI: FAQ

Does Figma Slides have AI?
Yes. Figma's help pages, checked 27 October 2026, document a deck outline from a FigJam board, Rewrite, Shorten, Translate and Adjust tone on a selected text layer, image tools and a draft of what to say per slide. The Figma agent is in closed beta for Slides, and there is no prompt-to-deck generator inside Slides itself.
Can Figma Slides make a presentation from a prompt?
Only through the Figma app in ChatGPT. You ask ChatGPT for a Figma Slides presentation, it sends Figma an objective, an outline and style notes, and Figma generates the deck. The route is in beta, works on any Figma plan, costs about 28–72+ AI credits a deck and is not available in the EU.
Is Figma Slides free?
Yes, on Figma's Starter plan, with 3 Slides files and 500 AI credits a month, capped at 150 a day. Figma's pricing table ticks Starter for the FigJam outline and PowerPoint import and export, while some help pages say the AI tools need a paid plan, and the Starter overview says no AI image tools.
How much is Figma Slides?
Slides comes with Figma seats. On Professional, a Full seat costs $16 a month billed annually or $20 monthly, a Dev seat $12 or $15, and a Collab seat $3 or $5. Organization Full seats cost $55 a month and Enterprise Full seats $90, both billed annually, on Figma's pricing page of 27 October 2026.
Can Figma Slides export to PowerPoint?
Yes, on any plan. Choose Main menu, File, Export slides to, then PPTX, for all slides or selected ones, with editable objects or flattened images. Figma lists three changes in the file: missing fonts switch to PowerPoint's default, live interactions and code blocks become static images, and gradients become solid fills. Bulk export is not supported.
Why do fonts change when I export Figma Slides to PowerPoint?
Because PowerPoint can only show fonts installed on the computer that opens the file. Figma's export page says a text layer in a font PowerPoint lacks is switched to PowerPoint's default font. Use fonts your recipients have, embed fonts in PowerPoint before sending, or rebuild the deck with a tool that embeds its fonts.
Can I import a PowerPoint into Figma Slides?
Yes, on all plans: in the file browser, click Import, then Import from computer, and choose the .pptx. All text switches to Figma's default font, Inter, and videos, tables, diagrams and animations are not imported. Figma suggests recreating tables and diagrams, or pasting screenshots of them, and re-uploading videos after the import.
Is Figma Slides better than Google Slides?
For design teams, often yes: Figma Slides brings Figma components, variables and design mode into decks, plus live polls and prototypes. On our seven AI rules, though, Google Slides with Gemini scores 66 and Figma Slides 58, mainly because Gemini edits the native Google Slides file while Figma documents changes in its PowerPoint export.
Does Figma Slides support Arabic right-to-left?
Figma's right-to-left article, checked 27 October 2026, covers Figma Design and FigJam files and names Arabic, but does not list Figma Slides, and Translate publishes no language list. On our rules Figma Slides scores 2 of 5 on languages. Canva and NOXI document right-to-left layout for decks, Gamma right-aligned Arabic text.
How is NOXI different from Figma Slides?
NOXI builds the whole deck from a prompt or an uploaded PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or image file, researches prompt-started decks with source lines on figure slides, makes right-to-left Arabic slides and exports a free, editable PowerPoint with embedded fonts. Figma Slides offers design mode and live presenting tools. On seven printed rules, NOXI scores 98 and Figma Slides 58.
