Best AI Resume Builder in November 2026: 12 Scored, and Which Free Downloads Are Really Free

Enhancv, Kickresume, Rezi, NOXI, Novoresume, Canva, Resume.io, Huntr, Teal, Jobscan, Resume Genius and Zety, scored on seven printed rules: the free file, PDF and Word, importing your CV, job-description tailoring, ATS claims, trials that renew and right-to-left languages.

Best AI resume builder, a NOXI blog cover: twelve AI resume builders scored on seven printed rules for November 2026, with Enhancv first and NOXI fourth

Disclosure: NOXI publishes this page and is one of the twelve resume builders scored. That's why the rules, the weights and the source of every cell are printed, along with the rules where other tools finish ahead of NOXI.

Best AI resume builder, scored on seven printed rules on 4 November 2026: Enhancv leads with 82 of 100, then Kickresume and Rezi on 80. NOXI is fourth of twelve on 75, level with Novoresume and Canva and ahead of both on the free-download rule. Job-description tailoring and ATS checks are where dedicated builders lead.

The download button is where most free resume builders stop being free. Type the head term into a search box and the suggestions finish the sentence: "and download without paying", "no credit card", "no sign up". The roundups that rank for it rarely say what happens when you press the button.

So this page reads the button first. Twelve builders are scored on seven rules from their own pricing pages, help centres and terms, opened on 4 November 2026, and the four that sell a trial renewing into a subscription are printed with both prices.

Where NOXI lands, plainly. NOXI is fourth of twelve on 75, behind Enhancv on 82 and Kickresume and Rezi on 80. It is level with Novoresume and Canva and listed ahead of both on the first link of the printed tie-break, the free download, 25 against 12, because NOXI's downloads carry no watermark on the free plan and no credit card is needed to start. NOXI takes full marks on five of seven rules: the free download, PDF and Word, starting from your current CV, no paid trial, and right-to-left languages. It scores zero on tailoring to a job description and on ATS claims, because NOXI builds a resume only from your own facts and claims neither; those are the rules where the dedicated resume tools lead. One reading moves the top: if Enhancv's generic trials clause counts as a renewing trial, Enhancv falls to 72, Kickresume leads and NOXI is third.

Best AI resume builder: the twelve at a glance

On seven documented rules checked on 4 November 2026, Enhancv scores 82 of 100, Kickresume and Rezi 80 and NOXI 75, with 27 points between first and twelfth.

The free download is the heaviest rule at 25 points, and it barely separates the field: eleven of twelve sit on the half mark of 12, because the free file is branded, plain text, or undocumented on branding. NOXI is the twelfth, on 25 [1]. The tailoring and ATS rules do the separating, and there the dedicated builders take the points.

Stacked bar chart of twelve AI resume builders scored on seven rules out of 100: Enhancv 82, Kickresume 80, Rezi 80, NOXI 75, Novoresume 75, Canva 75, Resume.io 70, Huntr 67, Teal 67, Jobscan 57, Resume Genius 55 and Zety 55, with the free-download segment shaded first in every bar and sitting at 12 for every row except NOXI at 25.
The first segment is the free download, 25 of the 100 points. Eleven rows sit on 12, so the job-search rules decide most of the order.

Who should pick what

Six needs point to six tools, and five of them are not ours.

  • If you want the top score on these seven rules pick Enhancv, whose ATS Check "compares your resume to a job offer you are applying to" [2].
  • If you want your CV rewritten for each job post pick Kickresume, whose tailoring page says "Simply paste the job post, and our AI will rewrite your CV", with PDF or DOCX downloads [3].
  • If you want an ATS scan against every job description pick Jobscan, where a scan is "any comparison of your resume versus a job description", and Premium is billed "for the next quarter" once its trial ends [10].
  • If you want a designed one-page resume for nothing use Canva: "creating your resume on our resume builder is totally free", with premium elements watermarked for Free users [6].
  • If you will not risk a renewal pick Novoresume, whose Pro Pass is sold as "One payment. Nothing to cancel." [5].
  • If you need a free PDF or Word file with no watermark, pick NOXI, the one row whose record documents it: attach your current CV, and NOXI builds a new one-page resume from it, in Arabic right to left too [1].

How we scored: seven rules, 100 points, printed in full

Seven rules worth 100 points, each with a full mark, a half mark and a zero printed in advance, applied the same way to all twelve.

Method Scored on documented capability from official pages opened on 4 November 2026. Not a new hands-on test. Every page was read signed out, with no cookie banner accepted, no trial started and nothing bought. Canva, Teal, Zety, Resume Genius and Jobscan's plan page were read in a real browser. A cell scores zero only where an official page was opened and does not document the feature. Where a marketing page and the help centre or terms disagree, the help centre or terms win, and both quotes are printed.
CodeRule (points)Full mark · half mark · zero
R1Free download of the finished resume (25)25 = the vendor's own page documents that a free plan downloads a complete resume as PDF or DOCX, with no card and no watermark or vendor branding · 12 = a free download exists but with a watermark or branding, a TXT-only file, or the page is silent on branding · 0 = any download needs a paid plan or a paid trial
R2PDF and DOCX (10)10 = both documented, on any plan · 5 = one · 0 = neither
R3Starts from what you already have (15)15 = importing an existing resume file or a LinkedIn profile is documented · 8 = guided form, chat or prompt only · 0 = not documented
R4Tailoring to a job description (15)15 = a documented feature rewrites, suggests or scores against a pasted job description or job link · 0 = not documented
R5ATS claims stated (10)10 = the vendor documents an ATS check, an ATS score or ATS-tested templates · 0 = not documented. The claim is recorded, not tested
R6No paid trial between you and the file (10)10 = no paid or auto-renewing trial is needed for any download · 0 = the vendor's own pricing page or terms describe a trial that renews into a subscription
R7Languages, including right to left (15)15 = resumes in Arabic, Hebrew or another right-to-left language documented · 8 = several languages, none right to left · 0 = not documented

The half-mark rule, printed: a cell sits on the middle level only for the reason the rule names, and the cell table writes that reason inside the cell. Silence is scored as silence: a free file whose page never mentions branding scores 12, because "silent" is not "unbranded".

The tie-break chain, printed: R1, then R4, then R3, then R7, then alphabetical order. No weight was moved after scoring, and no rule was reworded.

How the trial rule was read, once, for everyone

R6 is zero when the vendor's own pricing page or terms sell a trial that renews into a subscription: Resume.io, Resume Genius, Zety and Jobscan. Enhancv's terms carry a generic "Trials & Discounts" clause, but its pricing page sells no trial and its free plan opens "no card required", so it keeps 10, and the strict reading is printed as a sensitivity. Canva's pricing page offers a Pro trial without saying it renews, and its resume tools are free: 10.

Competitor cells rest on each vendor's own page, quoted and timed. NOXI's rest on our NOXI 2.0 product record, row by row, and where that record says nothing, NOXI takes the low mark.

Every cell, with the reason for each half mark

Enhancv's 82 is 12 plus 5 plus 15 plus 15 plus 10 plus 10 plus 15, and NOXI's 75 is 25 plus 10 plus 15 plus 0 plus 0 plus 10 plus 15. Every row is worked the same way.

Half-mark rule: every cell above that is neither full nor zero carries its reason in the cell. Tie-break chain: R1, then R4, then R3, then R7, then alphabetical order.

Four ties, and the rule that decided each

  • Kickresume 80 and Rezi 80 are identical on every rule, so the chain runs out and alphabetical order decides.
  • NOXI, Novoresume and Canva on 75 are settled on R1, the first link: 25 against 12 and 12.
  • Novoresume and Canva then split on R3, 15 against 8: Novoresume documents a file upload, Canva asks you to paste your text.
  • Huntr and Teal on 67, and Resume Genius and Zety on 55, are identical on every rule, and alphabetical order decides both.

The gaps between the rows you will actually compare

  • Enhancv 82 minus NOXI 75 = 7: R4 plus 15 and R5 plus 10 for Enhancv, against R1 plus 13 and R2 plus 5 for NOXI.
  • Kickresume 80 minus NOXI 75 = 5: R4 plus 15 and R5 plus 10 for Kickresume, against R1 plus 13 and R7 plus 7 for NOXI.
  • NOXI and Novoresume, level on 75: NOXI takes R1 plus 13, R2 plus 5 and R7 plus 7; Novoresume takes R4 plus 15 and R5 plus 10.
  • NOXI finishes above higher rows on three rules: R1, R6, where four rows sell renewing trials, and R7, where only Enhancv and Canva match its mark.

Three sensitivity readings, including the one that moves the leader

The same three lead under equal weights in a different order, NOXI drops to ninth without the free-download rule, and one strict reading of Enhancv's terms changes the leader.

Reading 1, equal weights. Each cell as a fraction of its maximum, averaged: Kickresume 0.86, Rezi 0.86, Enhancv 0.85, Canva 0.79, Novoresume 0.79, Resume.io 0.72, Huntr 0.71, NOXI 0.71, Teal 0.71, Jobscan 0.57, Resume Genius 0.57, Zety 0.57. Kickresume and Rezi lead, and NOXI falls to seventh, level at two decimals with Huntr and Teal.

Reading 2, without R1, the heaviest rule. Enhancv 70, Kickresume 68, Rezi 68, Canva 63, Novoresume 63, Resume.io 58, Huntr 55, Teal 55, NOXI 50, Jobscan 45, Resume Genius 43, Zety 43. NOXI falls to ninth. Its fourth place rests on the free download with no watermark, which is the rule the searches themselves are about ("download without paying", "no credit card").

Reading 3, single cells. Any one Enhancv cell one step lower puts Kickresume first, and six of those seven moves also put NOXI third; two are live questions. Enhancv's R6 read strictly, so that the generic trials clause in its terms counts as a renewing trial: 10 to 0, Enhancv 72, Kickresume first, NOXI third. Enhancv's R7 read strictly, so that Arabic as a translation language needs a documented right-to-left layout: 15 to 8, Enhancv 75, Kickresume first, NOXI third on the R1 tie-break. Kickresume or Rezi documenting an unbranded free download would lead on 93, NOXI still fourth; Canva documenting Word export would reach 80 and put NOXI fifth; NOXI on 12 for the free file would fall to ninth on 62.

The best free AI resume builder: which downloads are really free

Eleven of the twelve free files sit on the half mark, for three different reasons, and only one builder documents a free PDF or Word download with no watermark.

Definition Watermark or vendor branding. A mark on the downloaded file naming the tool that made it: a logo, a footer line, a "made with" badge. A free file scores full marks only when the vendor's own page says it carries none.

Branded, in the vendor's own words. Enhancv's free plan lists "Enhancv branding", and its help centre says "You can remove the Enhancv branding only if you have a Pro Plan." [2]. Its free access is short too: open an account with no card and "you get 7 days of free access", says its help article of 5 February 2026. Novoresume's Basic plan lists "Novoresume branding on your PDF" [5]. Canva sits here for a narrower reason: "Premium elements will have watermarks on your design if you're a Canva Free user." [6]. Its resume page says creating one "on our resume builder is totally free", and our page on whether Canva is free covers the rest of its free tier.

Plain text only. Resume.io's pricing page lists the free plan as "Downloads only in TXT format", while its help centre allows a free PDF "with our Vancouver template" [7]. Resume Genius lists "Resume Builder (TXT only)" [11], and Zety "TXT format only" [12]. A TXT file is a download, so the cell is 12 and not zero, but it carries no layout at all.

Silent on branding. Kickresume answers "Can I download it for free?" with "Yes, you can as long as you stick to free customization options.", with no stated cap on downloads [3]. Rezi's free plan lists "3 PDF Downloads" and "No card is required to begin." [4]. Huntr lists "Free PDF Export" [8]. Teal's help centre says "Free Teal members can: Create, edit, and export", and a search of it for "watermark" returned nothing [9]. Jobscan's builder says "Download your finished resume as a PDF" [10]. All five may download clean. None says so, and these rules score what the page says.

Documented, with no watermark. NOXI's product record states "Downloads carry no watermark, on the free plan too." and "No credit card is needed to start." [1]. The free plan covers five documents a month, a resume counts as one, and the download is PDF or Word. Creating needs a free account.

One vendor contradicts itself, and the help centre wins. Novoresume's pricing FAQ says "The free plan does not expire."; its help centre says "Once your Basic access expires, downloading requires Pro plan active." [5]. Neither moves a cell, but nobody should repeat "free forever" without the second line.

Strip chart of the free route for twelve AI resume builders on 4 November 2026: branded free PDFs at Enhancv and Novoresume, a premium-element watermark rule at Canva, free files silent on branding at Kickresume, Rezi, Huntr, Teal and Jobscan, TXT-only free files at Resume.io, Resume Genius and Zety with trials of $2.95, $2.95 and 9.95 AED renewing at $29.95, $23.95 and 89.95 AED, and a free PDF or Word file with no watermark at NOXI.
Three kinds of half mark and one full mark on the free file. The trial and its renewal price are printed beside each builder that sells one.

The trials that renew, with both prices

Four of the twelve sell a trial that renews into a subscription on their own pricing pages: cheap for the first days, dear from the first renewal.

Definition Auto-renewing trial. A short paid or free period that becomes a recurring subscription on a set day unless you cancel. The button shows the first price; the renewal price is the one that matters.
BuilderThe trial, as soldWhat it renews intoSource, as served on 4 November 2026
Resume.io"$2.95", 7-day trial"After 7 days, auto-renews to $29.95 billed every 4 weeks"resume.io/pricing, US dollars, 11:31 UTC [7]
Resume Genius"$2.95", 14-day trial plan"Auto renews after 14 days at $23.95 billed every four weeks."resumegenius.com/pricing, US dollars, in a browser, 11:45 UTC [11]
Zety"9.95 AED", 14-day trial"After 14 days, auto-renews at 89.95 AED billed every 4 weeks."zety.com/pricing, UAE dirhams, in a browser, 11:44 UTC [12]
Jobscan"Try 7 Days Free" on PremiumQuarterly, "Billed as $89.95 every 3 months"; "Once your trial ends, you will be billed for the next quarter"app.jobscan.co/plan, US dollars, in a browser, 11:46 UTC [10]

The arithmetic is short. Forget to cancel Resume.io's trial and, once day 7 passes, you have paid $2.95 plus $29.95, which is $32.90. Resume Genius comes to $2.95 plus $23.95, which is $26.90, once day 14 passes, and Zety to 9.95 AED plus 89.95 AED, which is 99.90 AED. Jobscan's free week becomes $89.95 for the quarter. Zety is printed in dirhams because that is what its page served to a reader in the UAE, unconverted.

Eight builders put no trial between you and the file, and their paid plans appear here only as each page served them. Kickresume: "$24 / month", or "Pay $96 every 12 months" yearly [3]. Rezi: Pro "$29 / month", or Lifetime "$149" once [4]. Novoresume: "39.99 USD charged once for 3 months. No renewal." [5]. Huntr: Pro "$ 40 /month" [8]. Teal: "$13 Every 7 Days" or "$29 Every 30 days", in USD [9]. Enhancv's prices render only in a browser, where Pro Quarterly showed "$69 billed every 3 months" [2]. Canva's resume tools are free, and its Pro plan, which holds Translate, was served as 440 UAE dirhams a year by default and US$ 144 with the country set to the United States [6]. NOXI is free to start: the free plan covers five documents a month, and every change after that, by chat or by hand, is free [1].

Read the renewal line before the button. Resume Worded, a resume reviewer outside the twelve, updated its terms on 10 October 2026 with a refund note for members who "forgot to cancel" [13].

An AI resume builder based on the job description: who documents tailoring

Nine of the twelve document a feature that works against a pasted job description or job link, and they do four different things with it.

  • Rewrite the resume. Kickresume: "Simply paste the job post, and our AI will rewrite your CV" [3]. Resume.io: "Paste in a job description and it will fine-tune your resume for the role." [7].
  • Find the keywords. Rezi's AI Keyword Targeting "scans the job description to identify crucial keywords" [4]. Huntr: "Our AI extracts those critical terms from any job description" [8]. Teal: "Attach your desired position and we'll highlight the keyword insights" [9].
  • Score the match. Novoresume's job matcher: "Upload your resume and the job description", for an instant match score [5]. Jobscan: "A scan is any comparison of your resume versus a job description" [10]. Enhancv: paste the job ad and "Instantly see a match score, receive keyword recommendations" [2].
  • Paste both into one app. Canva's AI resume builder: "Just copy & paste your resume text and the job description" [6].

Three rows score zero. Resume Genius's checker names the job description only as advice, with no place to paste one [11]. Zety's resume check asks you to "Select a job title to get tailored recommendations", a title rather than a description [12]. NOXI builds a one-page resume "only from your own facts" and claims no job-description tailoring [1]; matching against a pasted job post is the ground of the nine builders above.

Which plan holds tailoring is a separate question that feature pages rarely answer. Kickresume's pricing table shows its AI Resume and Cover Letter Writer with a dash in the Free column [3]. Read the plan line before you plan twelve applications around a feature.

Best AI resume builder, ATS friendly: what the vendors claim, and what nobody tests

Eleven of the twelve make an ATS claim on their own pages, in five different shapes. None of the claims is tested here, and none of the pages we opened cites an independent test.

Definition Applicant tracking system (ATS). The software employers use to receive, parse and search applications. A builder's ATS claim says its file can be read by such software, or scores your resume the way it might. Rule R5 records the claim and does not test it.
  • An ATS check against a job. Enhancv: "ATS Check compares your resume to a job offer you are applying to" [2]. Jobscan: "built around the core functionalities of real Applicant Tracking Systems" [10].
  • An ATS score. Resume.io: "You get a realistic ATS score." [7]. Huntr: "Get a free ATS score and a detailed job match analysis." [8]. Rezi Score promises "the best chance of getting through Applicant Tracking Systems" [4].
  • Tested or friendly templates. Novoresume: "Every template parser-tested." [5]. Teal: templates that "adhere to ATS-friendly guidelines" [9]. Zety: "ATS-friendly formatting and machine-readable layouts" [12]. Canva: ATS-friendly templates, with an FAQ on what that means [6].
  • A readability check. Resume Genius's checker "determines if Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software can read the file" [11].
  • A paid scan. Kickresume lists its ATS Resume Checker, "Will your resume pass the ATS scan?", among its paid features [3].

NOXI is the twelfth and states no ATS claim, so R5 is zero. If your next application goes into a tracking system, the eleven above document something about it, and Jobscan and Enhancv the most specific version: a check against the job you are applying to. Two cautions apply to everyone: a claim is not a result, and the interview and offer statistics several of these sites print are surveys of their own users, so this page prints none of them.

Matrix of twelve AI resume builders against four rules on 4 November 2026: importing an existing resume, tailoring to a job description, an ATS claim and right-to-left languages, with nine builders documenting tailoring, eleven stating an ATS claim, eleven documenting import, NOXI documenting import and right to left but neither tailoring nor an ATS claim, and a footnote that ATS claims are the vendors' own and are not tested.
Nine document tailoring, eleven state an ATS claim, and three take full marks for right to left. Every ATS cell is a claim, recorded and not tested.

Resumes in Arabic and other right-to-left languages

Three of the twelve take full marks for right-to-left languages, six list several languages with none of them right to left, and three score zero.

The three on 15 get there three ways. Enhancv names Arabic among its translation languages, "including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Hindi" [2], and describes no right-to-left layout, which is why its R7 is one of the sensitivities above. Canva documents "Mirror page to match text direction to support right-to-left languages", a setting inside Translate, which is on Pro [6]. NOXI's product record states a full Arabic interface and "right-to-left pages with mirrored layouts", with Arabic typefaces and Arabic and English mixed correctly in one sentence [1]; an Arabic resume counts as one of the free plan's five documents a month.

Six rows list languages and stop before right to left: Kickresume eight [3], Rezi nine [4], Resume.io twenty three [7], Resume Genius "Spanish, German, Italian, and Polish" [11], and Zety four sister sites [12]. Novoresume says it outright: "we do not yet support all characters and Right to Left writing" [5]. The three zeros: Jobscan says "Currently, Jobscan is only available in English." [10], Teal offers no setting to change the interface language, by its own FAQ [9], and Huntr's pages name no language [8].

For a Gulf application this rule matters more than its 15 points suggest: a resume for a role in Dubai or Riyadh often travels in two languages, and an Arabic page that runs left to right reads wrong. Our ranking of the best AI for Arabic covers the wider question.

Two versions of the same fictional one-page resume side by side: on the left an English resume for Priya Raman, a junior data analyst in Pune, laid out left to right, and on the right the same resume in Arabic laid out right to left with mirrored sections for education, experience, projects and skills, under a headline noting that three of twelve builders take full marks for right-to-left languages.
The same fictional one-page resume, left to right and right to left. Mirroring moves the sections, the dates and the alignment, not only the text.

The best AI cover letter generator inside each builder

Cover letters are not scored here. Most of the twelve sell one beside the resume, and three of the pages we read say their cover letter starts from your resume and the job post.

Novoresume: "Paste the job description and either upload your resume", with the full cover letter builder on the Pro Pass [5]. Enhancv's "Free AI Cover Letter Generator" asks for your resume, then "Copy and paste the job ad" [2]. Canva's AI resume builder takes "your resume text and the job description" and drafts a resume and a cover letter from them [6]. Rezi's writer drafts a letter "specifically tailored from your resume content", and its free plan FAQ sets no limit on cover and resignation letters [4]. Kickresume's writer promises to "Create your cover letter in seconds", with the full version on paid plans [3]. Resume.io's free plan allows "Only one resume and cover letter" [7], and Huntr puts AI cover letters on Pro with no stated limit [8].

NOXI 2.0 has a Letter format, and it follows the resume's rule: it writes from what your request says and the files you attach. For a cover letter shaped around a pasted job post, start with Novoresume, Enhancv or Canva.

What these rules don't measure

Seven rules cannot judge a resume, and most of what they leave out is where other tools are strongest.

  • Whether the writing is good. A resume lives on its sentences, and no vendor page can show that. Kickresume, Rezi and Resume.io all sell rewriting; the rules only record that it exists.
  • Whether any ATS claim is true. Nobody publishes an independent test, so a recorded claim is all R5 can hold.
  • The job search around the resume. Huntr's free plan lets you "Track up to 100 jobs", Teal and Jobscan are built around applications and scans, and Rezi's free plan includes "1 AI Interview". NOXI makes the document; tracking applications is these tools' ground.
  • Refunds and leaving. Rezi offers "a 100% money-back guarantee on all paid plans", Novoresume a refund in the first 14 days, Resume.io a "7-day money back guarantee".
  • Design range and offers. Canva's and Enhancv's template ranges and Kickresume's student offer ("Kickresume is free for all students who can prove their student status") are real strengths no rule weighs.

Not measured for anyone: recruiter response rates, interview coaching, support, file accessibility, data storage, and whether your target employer prefers PDF or Word. Check that last one first.

Three sites served something odd that morning, and we drew no conclusion from any of them: Enhancv's pricing page showed real prices only in a browser, and Teal and Zety refused automated fetches and opened normally in a signed-out browser, which is how both became scored rows.

What would change this ranking

Three things would move it, each tied to a page and a date.

  • 1. Kickresume or Rezi documents that free downloads carry no branding. R1 would go from 12 to 25 and that row would lead on 93. Pages to watch: kickresume.com/en/pricing/ and rezi.ai/pricing. Re-check 1 December 2026.
  • 2. Enhancv's pricing page stops naming Arabic, or the R7 reading is tightened to require a documented right-to-left layout. R7 would fall to 8, Enhancv to 75, and Kickresume would lead with NOXI third. Pages to watch: enhancv.com/pricing/ and enhancv.com/features/translate-resume/. Re-check 1 December 2026.
  • 3. Canva's help centre documents Word export for resumes. Canva's R2 would go to 10 and its total to 80, level with Kickresume and Rezi, and NOXI would fall to fifth. Page to watch: canva.com/help/download-file-types/, which says "For Canva Docs only" today. Re-check 1 December 2026.

Worked example: twelve applications, one of them in Dubai

Example Priya Raman, a fictional new graduate in Pune, is applying to twelve junior data analyst roles. Eleven are in India and want an English resume shaped to each posting, two of them in Word. One is in Dubai and wants an Arabic version too. Her rule: nothing that renews. The table turns that into four filters.

Filter one, nothing that renews. She needs R6 on 10. Four rows sell a trial that renews: Resume.io, Resume Genius, Zety and Jobscan. Twelve minus four leaves eight.

Filter two, tailoring for the eleven. She needs R4 on 15. Of the eight, NOXI is the one that builds only from her own facts. Eight minus one leaves seven: Enhancv, Kickresume, Rezi, Novoresume, Canva, Huntr and Teal.

Filter three, Word as well as PDF. She needs R2 on 10. Of the seven, only Kickresume and Rezi document both formats. Rezi's free plan lists "3 PDF Downloads", eight short of her eleven, while Kickresume's free plan puts no stated cap on downloads "as long as you stick to free customization options". So the eleven go to Kickresume. If the tailoring she wants turns out to sit on a paid plan, the two payments here that cannot renew are Rezi's Lifetime plan at $149 once and Novoresume's Pro Pass at 39.99 USD for three months, and of those two only Rezi documents Word.

Filter four, the Dubai version. She needs R7 on 15. Three rows qualify: Enhancv, Canva and NOXI. Enhancv documents no right-to-left layout, Canva's mirror setting sits in Translate on Pro, and NOXI's record states right-to-left pages with mirrored layouts. She attaches her English CV, asks for a one-page Arabic resume that keeps every fact as it is, and downloads it as PDF and Word with no watermark. It uses one of her five free documents for the month, and every change she asks for after that is free.

The result. Two tools, nothing that renews, and each choice read off one printed rule rather than a total. If the Dubai interview then asks for a short presentation about her projects, our guide to the job interview presentation picks up from there.

Build it in NOXI: a one-page resume from the CV you already have

Six steps turn your current CV, or your own facts, into a one-page resume you download as PDF or Word, using the Résumé tile in NOXI 2.0.

NOXI 2.0 makes 14 formats from one request: presentation, document, brochure, social post, poster, one-pager, report, proposal, résumé, infographic, letter, invitation, certificate and menu, or Auto to let NOXI choose; the NOXI 2.0 launch article covers the engine. A resume is one page, two at most, built only from your own facts. Free to start: the free plan covers five documents a month, and every change after that, by chat or by hand, is free. New accounts also get a welcome gift for their first 14 days.

Prompt 1 · from your current CV

Turn my attached CV into a one-page resume for a [junior data analyst] role. Keep every fact, date and number exactly as it is in the file, lead with [the two internships], and make it easy to scan in ten seconds.

Prompt 2 · from your own facts, no file

A one-page resume for a [junior data analyst] in [Pune]: [degree, university, year], [two internships with dates and one result each], [three projects with the tools used], [skills]. Use only these facts and nothing else.

Prompt 3 · the right-to-left version, as a new document

A one-page resume in Arabic, right to left, from my attached CV. Keep every name, date and number exactly as it is in the file, and keep the company names in their original spelling.

Step 1. Open NOXI and sign in

Go to noxi.ai and sign in, or create a free account. No credit card is needed to start.

Step 2. Choose the Résumé tile

On Home, six formats sit under the request box. Open More and choose Résumé.

Step 3. Attach your current CV and write the request

Attach your CV and paste Prompt 1, or write your facts in as in Prompt 2. The file is input: NOXI builds a new one-page resume from it.

Step 4. Press Create and watch it build

NOXI sketches the page, picks a style from a design library of more than ninety styles, writes it, then reads it through and checks the rendered page for cut-off text and overlaps.

Step 5. Change any line by chat or by hand

Select a line and say what should change, or type straight into it. Set your accent colour and fonts in Design, and restore any earlier version from the history in one click. For the Arabic version, start a new Résumé with Prompt 3; it counts as a second document.

Step 6. Export PDF and Word

Export to PDF or Word. Each file is compared with the page before the download appears, and downloads carry no watermark, on the free plan too.

If the next document is a client proposal, Home has a Proposal tile, and our ranking of the best AI proposal generator scores eleven tools for it; for longer documents, see the best AI document generator ranking. Students can pair this page with our guide to the internship presentation and our list of AI tools for students.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI resume builder?
On seven printed rules checked on 4 November 2026, Enhancv scores highest with 82 of 100, then Kickresume and Rezi on 80, and NOXI fourth of twelve on 75. The rules cover the free file, PDF and Word, import, job-description tailoring, ATS claims, renewing trials and right-to-left languages.
Is there an AI resume builder that is free to download?
Yes, but read what the free file is. Eleven of twelve builders scored on 4 November 2026 offer a free download that is branded, plain text only, or silent on branding. NOXI's free plan exports PDF or Word with no watermark and no card, five documents a month.
What is the best AI CV maker?
The same twelve tools make CVs, and the order holds: Enhancv 82, Kickresume and Rezi 80, NOXI 75, on rules checked on 4 November 2026. If the employer wants Word, Kickresume and Rezi both document PDF and DOCX downloads, while Enhancv's pricing FAQ says its resumes download as a PDF.
What is the best AI for resume writing?
For rewriting against a job post, Kickresume documents it most directly: "Simply paste the job post, and our AI will rewrite your CV". Enhancv, Rezi, Novoresume and Resume.io also document tailoring. NOXI writes a one-page resume only from the facts you give it or the CV you attach, checked 4 November 2026.
Which AI resume builders tailor to a job description?
Nine of twelve document it on pages opened on 4 November 2026: Enhancv, Kickresume, Rezi, Novoresume, Canva, Resume.io, Huntr, Teal and Jobscan. Resume Genius and Zety check resumes without a pasted job description, and NOXI builds only from your own facts, so those three score zero.
Are AI resume builders ATS friendly?
Eleven of twelve claim it in some form, read on 4 November 2026: an ATS check against a job, an ATS score, or templates described as ATS friendly or parser tested. This page records those claims and tests none of them, and no vendor page we opened links to an independent test.
Why does a "free" resume builder ask for $2.95?
Because the full download sits behind a short trial that renews. Resume.io sells "$2.95" for 7 days, then it "auto-renews to $29.95 billed every 4 weeks". Resume Genius renews its $2.95 trial at $23.95 every four weeks, and Zety renews 9.95 AED at 89.95 AED, as served on 4 November 2026.
Can I make a resume in Arabic with AI?
Yes. Three of twelve take full marks on right-to-left languages, checked 4 November 2026: Enhancv names Arabic among its translation languages, Canva mirrors pages for right-to-left text inside Translate, a Pro feature, and NOXI builds right-to-left pages with mirrored layouts. Novoresume says it does not yet support right-to-left writing.
What is the best AI cover letter generator?
Cover letters are not scored here. Of the pages read on 4 November 2026, three say their letter starts from your resume and the job post: Novoresume, Enhancv and Canva's AI resume builder. Rezi writes one "tailored from your resume content". NOXI's Letter format writes a letter from what your request says.
Is the Canva resume builder free?
Canva's resume page says creating a resume "on our resume builder is totally free", and its AI resume builder app is "absolutely free to use", checked 4 November 2026. Premium elements carry watermarks for Canva Free users, Word export is documented for Canva Docs only, and Canva scores 75, sixth of twelve.
